- I challenged 2x DP World Tour Winner Daniel Gavins to play on a regular public golf course that we all play on every weekend. Danie will be playing from the Tees of the day/Yellow tees and will be trying to score as low as he can and attack the course! What do you think he will shoot?

this course is still nicer than any one i’ve played i want to see a pro hitting from dirt when they’re on the fairway and putting with 3 ball marks and a bald spot in the way

Started following Daniel some time ago--before the wins--because of the Golf Mates Channel. The kid is as genuine as they get. Many more victories await, and we know he'll be as nice as he is now when he hoists another trophy. Knows how to win. Good caddie too! ;>)

Daniel is such a top bloke. I’ve met and scored for quite a few pro golfers during various Australian opens in Sydney and these guys are just great. They on the most part will have a chat, sign autographs even have a beer afterwards with you if they can. Thanks Daniel for the insight and sharing your thoughts on how you play. Liam you’d be such a great caddy and you can see how relaxed Daniel is with you on the bag. Great video with super shots. Hope you can do more of these. Daniel all the best in your career mate.

I may be a tad biased, but what an excellent video from start to finish. As an ex -member of Wheatley Golf Club I know there will be plenty of members and past Grainger cup players who will enjoy seeing this. Special mention to Jake Hunt and Roger Hobson who together started the 0:16 Grainger Cup (a Ryder Cup style competition between juniors of Wheatley and Wilmington North Carolina).

I think this is a great challenge but I would love to see a Public course with tons of unfillled divots, inconsistant traps, slow play, etc.... Play it from 6700-7000 yards.

This was fun, it was cool to see that even the pro's don't hit perfect shots every time, the ball doesn't always go where you want it, but being able to adapt and recover is a the biggest skill these players have, even more so than ball striking. Though his putting is so good, that saves soooooooooo many strokes.

Lovely to watch a decent professional enjoying a round of golf without being pretenious. Sarah (or is it Sara?) didn't get enough mentions for some great camera work and Liam needs to get to the gym if he thinks that bag was heavy!
