- In October 2013 we played and filmed some shows for a DVD that came out with our HITS record. We played in Toronto and Montreal and with the help from our friends Dustin and Miska we captured some special moments. I know we can't play shows right now due to the state of the world so we thought we'd go back in time. We miss you and we'll see you soon enough. Take care of yourselves. All our love. BT

Can't believe they never actually play the song Dead Silence live.
AlpheoTheCleric right! They leave out the best songs from that record in their sets and play shit like stand up and run or show me the way.

Billy Talent is more of an Alt. Rock band with a Punk kind of energy than a Punk genre band in itself.

Not sure if there was a restriction of using phones at this show due the DVD but if not, claps to the crowd, they enjoy the show rather to be busy with the cellphone

When i was in grade 6 i went to my first ever concert, that concert was billy talent in the pit as a birthday present from my parents for your dead silence tour, my second concert was your afraid of heights tour, love from Winnipeg hope to see you again soon

I’d lose the will to live if I ever found out they had a second guitarist hidden under the stage, such a big guitar sound for one player, great technique! Billy Talent and AFI rocking the one guitarist!
Me too! I think secret lies in a perfect synergy of guitar and bass and how their parts are combined so that there are no weak spots. Of course effects and gear play vital role in the huge sound too for both guitar and bass.
Can't find it anymore, but there was this video where the band played their new single "Viking Death March". After playing, Ian D'sa was interviewed. It went back and forth, as last question, the Interviewer asked Ian:
"are you planning to release another single?"
Ian:
"It's surprise, surprise!"
It was so epic, I wish the video appears somewhere again!

Saw you guys for the first time on your college campuses tour in North Bay, ON in 2002 at The Wall. There were only about 40 of us but i knew every song and knew you guys were going to big, You played like there were a 1000 of us there just killing it live. I've watched countless bands play live, but without a doubt Billy Talent is by far the best live sounding band I've ever heard. Their ability to maintain the proper sound, which is studio-like quality (you can hear for yourself in their 10th Anniversary album) while maintaining the kind of energy they have is really amazing to hear/watch.
Need to see these guys live, been my favourite band since I was like 5 years old
same they came to my hometown when I was pretty young but I didn't get to go :/ still so many songs of theirs that r my fav til this day

I was able to see them live for my first time on their afraid of heights tour. I bought a hoodie which I lost a year later on a festival in a moshpit. And I was able to catch the plec Ian was throwing into the crowd which my father later threw away because he felt that i dont need it and never used it anyway... It was the best Evening in my life🤘🏼

They certainly do! I am Australian and was very lucky to see one of their shows in Germany 2017. It was a totally different audience to the Australian crowds! So much more energetic it was amazing 😀👍
Glaube liegt daran, dass die nach dem 3. Album so um 2005-2007 relativ viele Festivals in Deutschland gespielt haben.
@@TheFreddyFazbear666 das 3. Album kam 2009 raus. Großen Erfolg in Deutschland und ganz Europa erlangten sie mit dem 2. Album, das 2006 raus kam.

i was a pretty big fan of these guys around 2010ish and knew nothing about them. got back into them last year and was SO impressed with how good his vocals are live! for such a cutting vocal style, he's kept it well for all this time.
