I think people used animal hair long before anyone knew how to make synthetic hair. Probably they used the goat/squirrel for food, leather, and brushes.

Hello from the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. I so enjoyed this! I've always been drawn to watercolor paintings. I started seriously learning adult coloring with pencils a year ago and many I've admired and learned from incorporate watercolor in to their work. Bokeh is a perfect example of that. Very interesting how you used the tape. I'm so glad I came across your channel. Thank you so much! I can't wait to learn more from you. Excellent teacher!

It's not something I've done often, and it's usually been a failure because I use the sable brushes. And thanks for how to remove frisket. I've been a complete failure at that, too. I had to laugh, I've obviously found a fellow ........actually I'm not sure of the term, but I took one look at bokeh and was hooked. When I first started painting I did folk art, I picked up a stylist and it was on, I dotted everything I could, I couldn't help myself, Bokeh did the same thing to me! She showed the reference photo of a snowy landscape. You can use bokeh to imitate the reflections and lights from the snow which are in the distance, so they do look a bit off focus. Also for example when paintings lights like f.e. candles or fairy lights, it looks very lovely.

Me again, your art sponge sounds like melamine. The same thing they like to call magic eraser sponges😂. I have no idea how much you paid for that little sponge, probably a fortune because it is “art supply “ but you can buy like 40 of them on Amazon for about 10 bucks and they’re great big like a dish sponge. I guess if I waited a couple more minutes, I would see that you whipped out your Mr Clean sponge 😂
