It’s basically anything that gives them cognitive dissonance about their worldview. Well, that’s what it seems, anyway. (That said, I despise “the Left” and “the Right” equally for their filthy games)
Musk did not develop the Tesla, he invested in it just before it went to production in order to bring it to production, after the inventors had exhausted their financial resources. He required the title of CEO to close the deal with them
Nobody "invented" Tesla. What Elon did was to invent a whole new concept of manufacturing motor cars. He also put every cent he had into the business and that gave financial investors confidence to also support Tesla. An electric car was first made before an ICE car There was was no battery technology though at that time.
@davidtuer5825 Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning invented the EV we know as a Tesla. They had exhausted all their personal revenue sources to develop the prototype and test the market, but were in need of the funds to bring it to mass production. That is where Musk joins the story. Why would you say "no one invented Tesla", when I stated Musk did not invent *the* Tesla, ie the electric car? Eberhard and Tarpenning invented the product Musk invested in. Tesla ( no article 'the' preceeding) is the brand name of the world's most famous electric vehicle, the name from the immigrant scientist who famously invented the Tesla ball and who went toe to toe with Westinghouse in an effort to bring free electricity to the American people. As for your claim that Musk spent every penny is interesting; echoes of PR campaigns past. Musk sold Pay Pal to fund his buy-in and his CEO status with Tesla. It seems to me his penchant for sleeping at his office is a symptom of his aversion to paying property taxes...any taxes, really....
@davidtuer5825 the very new body forming process was developed by the employees at Tesla, not by Musk personally. I think it was in the Texas facility. Musk "inspired" them to the innovation by giving them the directive to halve production costs.
@davidtuer5825 but I will give your comment a like for pointing out that electric vehicles were being made before combustion engine cars. It seems the recurring theme in the Tesla saga, from Nic's struggles over a century ago to modern times is this; ignorance of politics provides no protection from the consequences of politics.
@@bevmacdonald9008 Do you think Henry Ford invented the motor car or was it his workers and engineers? Or did he steal his ideas? There's always someone who says the boss, the driver of the enterprise, the ideas man, rode on the back of his worker. They say he was lucky, he picked the right people and they carried him. Look at SpaceX and compare it with Blue Origin. One difference though, Elon was pretty damn rich but no Billionaire. He put ALL his wealth (earned wealth) into Tesla. But back to Space. Both companies were formed by men successful in other spheres. At that time Jeff Bezos was by far the richer of the two. He certainly didn't commit his everything to Blue Origin but he did start with the same ambitions, well so far as getting a rocket ship off the ground is concerned. SpaceX has outstripped Blue Origin in successful innovation and development. SpaceX has also out stripped Boeing and SLS, the two oldest and most experienced companies in that field. @@Kim-h4m8m exactly, Elon is government funded, yet he blabbers on about the 'deep state'. Musk himself is part of the deep state, lol.
Most of these miserable people can't even define what is Woke???..
Was that also on the shoulders of others? Elon is the Chief Engineer of SpaceX.
I could bring in Neurolink but I'm not writing a book, I'm just trying to show you that Elon has been massively successful in all his businesses, give credit where it's due.
Don't denigrate some due to your personal antipathy towards him, I'm sure you've never met him, you only diminish yourself.
What do Tesla, Enron, and The Titanic have in common ? Nothing…yet.

Oh wow...what a deep thinker
Way to use the deaths of over 1500 people to spread your venom.
I would say they have GREED 💰 💰💰💰 joined with CORRUPTION in CON-MON (common).
My partner's cousin is a leading automotive engineer, and was hired by Musk to work on Tesla's electric car project. He was asked to do something and told he only had a certain amount of money to do it with. He told them that what was wanted couldn't be done for that amount. Musk fired him on the spot. Then, guess what, they found out they couldn't do it for the money 🤣
Your partners cousin told you that, did he?
Musk didn't even "found" or even "co-found" Tesla. He's fulls of it and trying to craft an image.
44 billion dollars now worth 9.4 billion doink
He'd have to pay someone to take the fruitcake echochamber of his hands now.
With a billion a year in interest, without any meaningful advertising or other revenue stream. Meanwhile trump wants to make him Secretary of cost cutting. What could possibly go wrong?

"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing," a quote famously attributed to Oscar Wilde, holds significant meaning in a straightforward interpretation. It highlights the essence of cynicism, portraying it as a perspective that values material worth above intrinsic or intangible qualities. This keen observation by Wilde brings to light a common tendency in our society to prioritize the quantifiable over the qualitative, challenging us to reflect on what truly matters in life.

If I owned a Tesla I would never ever take my hands off the steering wheel. Nor would I ever park close to a body of water, not even a swimming pool. Teslas are a known death trap.
Elon's support for Donald Trump is his major downfall, forgetting that everything he touches dies.😂
How do you make a small fortune ? Give Elon Musk a large one.
Oh, that is such a clever and cutting comment. I would guess you didn't spend $1000 dollars on Tesla shares 15 years ago? if you had you'd be a millionaire now.
I signed up on Twitter before it became X. I read, like and repost but only like-minded posts and I’m a lifelong registered Democrat. I block all the MAGA post and ads. So X serves my purposes and allows me to read and connect with other Dems. Just posting this to let you know that X isn’t all MAGA crazies.
So, Elon has corrupted the former Twitter.
So now there is a market opportunity to recreate a “Twitter”!
It’s NOT his money. It’s investors money, Elon doesn’t own a toilet.
Yes Elon Musk the illegal immigrant from Africa is a hardliner on immigration... Ruminate on that for a minute

Ketamine notoriously causes delusional grandiosity. He seems like he’s deeply down the rabbit hole.
Trump and Musk are birds of the same feather.
He didn’t buy it to make a profit. He bought it to use as a propaganda platform.
Musk done X-ed himself out. He doesn't realize that X means "wrong" and X means cancel.

If by “crazier,” you mean “more dangerous,” then I wholeheartedly agree!
They have a race to see who can be the worst first.

I noticed that I no longer got likes and as many views all of a sudden following anti- trump and anti-Musk tweets as of a few months ago, so deleted my X account.
Finished the book a couple of days ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was disappointed to discover all Dorsey's failings (my fault, I had a starry eyed Twitter view), surprised to discover what a terrible business man Musk is, and how badly he treats people. So I thought him losing so much money was karma for all the deliberate pain he had caused others.
Elon Musk has destroyed Twitter. I have no respect for him. He should have finished his education which may have helped him run his businesses better.
@ Cutting workforce is why X-Twitter is headed for bankruptcy! Not a good way to run a business!
Like many others, I will exit the platform after the US election, and before he removes the ability to mute or block, which he has said he will do in December.
It is now a cesspit.
This is a direct reflection on his one dimensional intellect. He's like "Rain Man", sure he's intelligent in his own way, but that intelligence is also limited in an autistic way. Unfortunately his actions have painted, many people on the spectrum, with the same brush. I know many wonderful people who are indeed on the spectrum, but they all excel in life with a support network that helps them function in a society that requires many different levels of empathy, compassion, responsibility and humanistic qualities. Essentially Musk is not a complete person but these deficiencies are not allowed steer the wheel with most people. Musk's deficient nature is allowed to be amplified by his disgusting level of unlimited wealth.
Elon could provide janitorial services himself. He's perfect for the job.
Who funded the acquisition and for what purpose?
He bought it to save free speech in America.
Why don’t you interview Musk. These people are lying! Musk says he bought Twitter to save free speech in America.
Some USA banks are stuck with loans, Russian Oligarchs and Mid East billionaires

Elon Musk did not spend billions on Twitter to protect your 'freedom of speech'. Musk bought the platform to promote & amplify HIS 'freedom of reach'. 📣

Pure joy hearing this news.
Musk is the new Murdoch but with much more power and life expectancy.
The “genius” paid $40 billion for a bankrupt company 😂
It was bankrupt ??? Why would that be do you think?
@ Elon said the company didn’t make enough revenue to pay the bills. Then he made it worse by allowing hate speech. A total Genius! 😂
I dropped Twitter, can't stand him treating it like his Private Ant-farm where people lose their Accounts because they criticize him and Republicans.
So much for his"Free Speech".
You're lucky you got a chance to get out, before he permanently suspended you - in which case, you would never be able to cancel. He keeps your data as a personal trophy. It also pads his membership numbers.
@RichardTaterDay1 Yes I know,I joined the Resistance on Twitter in 2018 just to fight Trump and the Rise of Fascism, but I won't support any of Elon's products anymore.

eh… Musk is boring
Musk is an aperthied baby. He understands division and hate. This is what he wants for America.
Oh, I don't think America needs Elon to cause division and hate.
He'll teach Trump how to do the same to the US government
The South African concept of minority rule, division, and white supremacy. Yes, definitely.
Agree..an endless line of credit and get out of gaol free card are what he and Turd want,
Musk's take over of Twitter made social media refugees of many of us, who couldn't reconcile ourselves ethically with staying on it.
Succinct, eloquent, and perfectly on-point. Such a shame that Felon Skum used his unassailable ego to destroy something that had real merit, and "a little bird told me" is now history, whereas it should have gone from strength to strength. I hope that a new Social network fills the enormous void...soon (along with employment for all those mistreated in the turmoil).
How can Jack Dorsey remotely “approve of” the job musk has done in running his creation? He took one of the most recognized, beloved brand names on earth and jettisoned the entire thing in favor of a letter…and not even a very good letter. He single handed lost Twitter 75% (!!!!!) of its market cap in less than a year. Twitter is now worth 25% of what it was before he bought it. How could anyone- let alone the company’s founder- not be absolutely sickened?
He so deserves this fiasco

I've never been on Twitter, after this I have no intention of starting. Who tf cares about the yammer you're missing?
'Twitter' is a much better & appropriate name. Changing it to 'X' just sounds weird
He didn’t even want to buy Twitter, he tried to back out the deal. But it was too late and he was forced to buy it.
If he's still alive in 5 years we're doomed.
Having a platform to voice his opinions without the fear of being banned. He needs attention which feeds his soul, so Twitter is the cheapest he can afford. 400 monthly users is still significant. Making another app to succeed would be a much tougher path. Trump's truth social is not even under the radar.
No coincidence he was from South Africa makes you wonder about his upbringing and attitudes.
He overpaid for twitter and was forced to go through with the transaction - Twitter real value at the time was $20Billion
Twitter destroyed its self
Character Limit- perfect title.

Musk blocks posters he doesn't like, and he amplifies his own Tweets & those he likes. Musk is with the American neo fascist trump now.
Musk, Trump, Rogan have fried their brains with chemistry experiments.
Buying twitter was a pure vanity project.
X in a nutshell: More characters, less character!
Oh that's good😊
Yeah, a guy who is demonstrably socially awkward is going to excel in running a social platform... what a brilliant idea! 😂
Do you mean Mark Zuckerberg?
@@synthmaker agreed Zuck isn't exactly a shining example of social slickness... but he wasn't the one to spend $40B+ on a business and then drive it down to less than half it's value (and saying less than half is generous, more like 25-30%). So no, not Zuck. I mean a South African billionaire who acts like he can buy a US presidency.
Should Elon give Trump a gold electric boat to play with in his shark-free paddling pool at Mar el Lago!
🤣🤣🤣
HIS ATTACKS OF TWIITER SAYS ALOT ABOUT MUSK
Hmm... I would assume Musk thinks of it as "I bought a massive megaphone so I can influence American society."
I suspect he bought a massive data feed with which to train his A.I. If the data is politically biased (and Twitter was heavily left-biased) and discussion across the political spectrum banned (apparently it was) then the A.I. would end up unable to produce reasoned arguments. Whether it is any better now is up for debate. 🤣
We know. What bothers me is Times Radio just a few days ago ran a video stating Musk was clearly the most successful capitalist in America.
and yet and yet..twitter is still around despite the predictions on these type of people. show me than man and i'll show you he crime.
I don’t understand why people that consider themselves decent and normal continue to use Twitter
It was never about Money. It was about controlling the narrative. So in that context, he's been wildly successful.
💯
Couldn’t happen to a more worthy guy
He just like Trump
That lack of toilet problem, do you think that's been fixed?
I feel funny to be compelled to say this about Times Radio, but when it comes to EM too many media outlets are following EM's marketing. He bought Tesla, and became grand poobah over there through the court system. It's not what it was anymore either. Imagine a spoiled rich child who will do anything to get a toy, but pretty much destroys it in a surprising time frame.
I dont think I've ever heard anyone else say Elon is "very human".
Hang out with Trump - "YOU LOSE."
This is the bozo who Trump wants to put in charge of "government efficiency".
