The No Sew Bra Pouch is made for use on your body only, and not to be left in the cage unattended :) The side knots will stretch and create little holes that the gliders can get stuck in on the sides :) I use them for bra bonding and holding in my lap only :)
Thank you for all your information. I have three king gliders and I wouldn’t trade one of them for Cadillac or BMW. I love my gliders. I sleep in the same room with my gliders. I have all my gliders in one cage a big cage. I have all my boys neutered. I have more girls than I have boys, and I love my babies, they are my babies. I cleaned her cage every day. I wash their toys every week and I love all of your information and I follow you religiously. I feel like you’re my friend my best friend with my Shugg Margie Goin Beach Florida.❤❤❤❤❤
These videos on introductions are making me want to get another glider and grow our colony! Would need to buy a larger cage for sure. Then that means more toys and treats to get too!!😃😃
Fun!!!
I learn so much from you
You look beautiful!! Helpful info too thank you Kimberly ❤️
This was such an informative video!
I’ve been trying to reintroduce my trio. There was some slow hard looking biting. I was not sure what to do so I separated again.
Cute cage set
Such a great video because there’s so many questions on this subject and so many people have had failed intros. I’m one of them ✋
Gliders are territorial and intros can be hard, but with time n trying all the tricks, eventually it will happen. Pouch swap, feed at eye level n supervised tent or tub time help are usually the best. Vanilla extract can also help
You added Pyka to your opening. Love it and lo e the video.
Yes 🥰. Love her!
I'm rewatching your introduction videos as I'm now trying to introduce my 2 separate pairs of gliders together. I first tried in the bathroom but one of them climbed the shower curtain and stayed there then I mistakenly brought all 4 into the tent which is scented by all of them my one nuetered boy from one pair did great with the 2 new ones but my female started some aggression towards the other female so I immediately returned her to her cage. Which now I see I shouldn't have done so soon since there wasn't any biting or balling up. Now I have them in an introduction pouch by the pampered glider and all is good. I'm going to next try the bathtub since it is neutral and I've removed the shower curtain I'll try not to end it at the first sign of aggression hopefully goes well. Thanks for your video!
Great video!!! What works for one glider does not work for all! I've had success with blind intros, but have had to swap forever for others! I never heard of using vanilla extract before definitely going to try and find out more about that!
Thank you this is very help full I have a glider and I’m getting another one so he isn’t lonely and I didn’t know how I would introduce them
So sad I missed the premiere! But this was so helpful, Since I’m hoping to get some more gliders, Since my two girls seem very playful, And seem they would love company. I’m hoping to get some more girls!
Thank you so much omg. I have a solo I’m trying to get with my trio and it’s taking so long. Going to try all these
Great video, as always, I’m a HUGE fan. Was wondering where you got that adorable purple pouch?! So fricken cute
Anyway you can give me a tip on how to actually prepare and what to feed them and I've been reading and watching and everything

Thanks for the video, i enjoyed it.
Can I use a bioactive substrate? Springtails, isopods, organic soil, leaf litter, sphagnum moss, wood coal, coconut husk chunks mixed together with cork bark for a hide? Has anyone tried this? Maybe could cover the top layer of the bioactive substrate with biodebradable packing paper with holes poked in it for isopods to feast on waste easier, keeping the gliders from reaching much of the substrate while also creating a dark spot for the isopods
I have a pair of glider my question is can I add another pair in one cage?
I was getting a pair of sisters from my breeder but the sister unfortunately got lost on the way and we’re getting a different girl to bond with her and I’m hoping she takes to her quick like you said because they’re babiesb
Omg what happened do you care to share the story I am adopting soon
@@Erika-kw7ur spice took to sugar amazingly. She also took to two more of her sisters 2 weeks after that. It took one day. They all are perfectly bonded .
@@user-mw3np3em8d aw that is awesome I am nervous to get more than one for fear of bonding issues but sounds not as hard as I feared
@@Erika-kw7ur you have to have atleast 2. They’re pair animals. If they’re around the same age and size. You should be okay!!
How would you introduce a glider to another if you’re starting out? Would I start with 1 glider for a while and get another later?
I don’t know if I overlooked it in the video or if you explained it. I understand that every glider and every situation is different but about how long you leave them together to work through the problems before you know or how do you know that it’s OK to move them into the same cage together and everything’s gonna be OK
Missed it. Watching now
I have one sugar glider 8 month female how do i introduce it a new baby do i need 2 separate enclosure?? Whats the best method to introduce??
Amazing video!!
Thank you 😊
Just wanted to mention something real quick about air purifiers. I have dogs and cats so I got one a little while ago. What I found out was that some produce ozone which is extremely harmful. I don't know if yours does that but I would look into it.
I believe mine is safe. I really appreciate the post ☺️
Ill watch
I am geeting good advices on how to introduce a pair of adult still in progress
New comment on old video but I hope you see this. I got 2 gliders less than two weeks ago, one passed recently so I am going to be getting my remaining glider a friend. I however, do not have the room to do what is the general requirement for cold intros, they have to be in my room during the quarantine. I can manage not cross contaminating them, but how do I deal with them having to be in the same room but not in contact with each other for those 30 days.
Hi. How about 1 female joey i wiil introduce to 1 male adult. Is it ok?
I honestly was pretty stupid with my decision, I just put them in my tent. They both didn’t come out, So stupidly I put them back in there cage. I put out 3 pouches, One my girl was already in and 2 my new neutered male could have. My neutered male is so sweet, Curious, And playful. He just wanted to hang out with my girl as soon as he saw her 🥺 I’m so glad there was no fighting, Because I really didn’t wanna quarantine my male, Since he was really playful. There already getting along pretty well, I can tell there going to be great friends! My little girl who passed away yesterday will always be in my heart, But now too will me little boy! Thanks for the great and helpful tips!
So sorry for your loss! Glad the intro worked out!
@@sugargliderdiaries It’s been hard, But maybe this was a sign, Since my girl was actually a bit overweight, And wasn’t doing to well, Would barely ever get out of the pouch. But my boy and her are getting along very well, And he’s even getting her out. It means a lot for all the support and the wonderful videos and care you give your gliders! Thank you for just being you 😄👍
I’m looking for another sugar glider and I was wondering where people got theirs.
Depends where you are
Thanks so much
Hi I am new at raising sugar
Im doing an intro with a 2 yr old pair(neutered and his twin sister) to a 6 month neutered male. they didnt crab at all during intros in the tub and went straight into the pouch together. but at night my first male will get really crabby and chase around the little one, which is hard to watch cause hes twice his size. I have them in a pouch sleeping fine but its only at night when they get bickery. Im going to try having them together overnight again once its the weekend and i dont need to be up early for work. I have had the female and young male in my main cage overnight and they were fine.
I went through the exact same thing with my intro and I documented it all in two videos
ruclips.net/video/97pozOXG5ns/видео.html
After doing these things they all got along ruclips.net/video/jzdfnVRR_5g/видео.html
@@sugargliderdiaries im going to try doing a deep clean of the cage this weekend, its going to be warm enough outside hopefully (in the 50s lol)
So when I first got me 2 gliders I got another one they were in separate cages side by side one day I woke up an some how my new glider ended up in my other 2 gliders cage weird I know.... well now I have adopted 2 more that’s already bonded how should I go about introducing them all
Great video
Susan Young thank you!
I have two gliders currently, one i’ve had for 5 months and the other for a week. The new one is indeed a male, he is VERY scared and nervous and likes to jump at me, i have not yet been able to let him out of the cage, if i do he runs around forever until i catch him again, the female glider is normal otherwise. They are currently both in my room, separate cages, the cages 3 inches apart and they have started communicating at night. do you think it is okay for me to introduce them? or should i wait until the male is tame? i doubt he has been tamed before also, i rehomed both gliders as well.
hey can you play link to the the vanilla scent you rub on them that is safe? can you link one from amazon or something please
I have been doing pouch and toy swapping. Done tent intro and it went good. Should I do cage swapping before putting together in a cage?
If they get along and sleep in the same pouch after the intro, you can just put them in the same cage but observe them for the night 😌
I love you videos! but my question is i have recently bought a new glider which is 4 months old and my old pair which are already a year old, Im having a hard time introducing because the pair keeps fighting the new one should I keep trying or find a pair for the new one?
Any update on this?
Hi can bonded gliders still crab at you while theyre in the pouch? Mine are bonded to me but still crab only when theyre in the pouch
Absolutely
I have 3 gliders does that mean they are a colony or is it more than 3
I commented before but I’m not sure what happened to it. Just wanted to say this video was great and I’m so glad you made it! I also had a couple questions, what is the age that male gliders will start mating and marking their territory. I also had a question on when gliders mate do they always leave mating wounds? Thank you! Your advice is extremely helpful!
How soon after brining a new joey (9 weeks old) home would you do an intro with another young joey (15 weeks) since new baby won't be bonded to me yet?
Should I allow them to introduce right away or give her a chance to settle in or start bonding with me first while in a separate cage...both will be coming from the same breeder and should be healthy and male neutered and healed up...boy will just go home with me first and she will follow a month ish later due to age difference.
What worked for you I’m in the same situation
I have a question, how long until it safe to say they bonded when being introduced in a neutral space and can be put back together in a same cage? I have 4 gliders which are 3 Neutered males and 1 female.but recently my female got dominance/mating wound so i seperate them for a while until she is fully healed and now im nervous to put her back together with the rest.so for now their cages are next to each other with only an inch from each distance (it’s been almost 2 months and no problem with the distance).im thinking to put them all in a neutral cage for reintroduction before put them back in their main house again..
Yes I would try to introduce in a bathtub or a neutral spot if he wound is all healed. It will probably be totally fine but better safe than sorry 😊
My female bit my male 2x . he has 2 open wounds! But they would sleep together both being nice then ball up and not even be loud at all. Then she would bit him!!!😳 .now there seperated for 6/8 weeks till my male heals!. It's like my female is bipolar!!!😞 what can i do to have them get along for good NICELY!!!.
Oh boy that’s too bad. Separating them for now is the right call. I don’t have any experience with this though so I don’t have a ton of advice unfortunately 😔
Super woman 😄, how did you get that large cage outside to clean, lol
Shannon L my hubby 😂
not gonna lie,,I know u work, have a family and a life...... but find myself missing ur family, the gliders and the info. is it bad to say ,, quit ur job? how come out is, the ones I subscribe to hook me in then forget I'm here?!! lol well ok,, kinda joking, kinda not.. lol mayb I need to get a life! yall r missed....😂.. hope this isn't too weird, just c it happening a lot,, mayb it's yt!..
