Id say to simplify it as much as possible an have it block you from everything accept for the comms vest audio cue. So the community knows for sure that the stealth vest works like it should
i like ur vids most of all. :) keep it up. My personal rank is: 1: Tempered, 2:medic, 3:comms, 4:stealth, 5:lvl3 normal, 6:lvl2 normal... etc. REasoning: Why stealth is the 'lowest' ranked of the "special" vest is bc its highly situational or niche. This is bc its very strongly countered with an advanced uav. You become the biggest honeypot when wearing a stealth vest and the enemy player uses an advanced uav in the area. Also its most powerful when a full team wears it vs 1 person of 3 man or 6 man squad. Because when breaching an area where an uav tower is active in dmz its strategically not the best idea to split of 1 player of the full team to push into the area to remain undeteced. (this is the main purpose of this vest). So this makes it a powerful vest in a few very select, or niche, situations. The tempered vest on first place because it does best what the vest is supposed to do. All a plate carrier is doing is carrying plates for you as an armor. The more it carries the more powerful it is, hence the lvl3 vest is golden vs a lvl2 or lvl1 vest. So a lvl 3 vest that gives you a 30% supply increase literally does the best what the vest sets out to do for you. IT gives you the most benefits in all situations during every fight. The faster plating midfight is also hugely beneficial. There is a reason it cant be build on mazrah. Its due to balancing, so i think at least. second the med vest, its only second becomes generally speaking i plate up more then i self revive or revive team members so there for the tempered gives me a benefit in more situations vs the med vest. That said its incredibly powerful also! third the comms vest. THe comms is nice but for me only stands out in 1 situation. And that is when its combined with an advanced uav. It gives you the abillity to spot players in the airport from just outside said city in mazrah. As an example. SO it guarantees you player positions outside of your circle where the ai spawns on you. So its the ulitmate hunter-killer-intelligence vest. Which makes it kind of a niche again like stealthvest because this is a certain playstyle that is not always needed or to be used. But 1 comm vest in a team combined with 2 or 3 advanced uavs on that player makes it as good as overpowered on any map besides b21. But on mazrah its incredibly powerful to the point it kind of needs a nerf maybe? tiny nerf? i Dunno. This is my 2cents. Ive got 1200hrs on dmz, cleared every T5 mission se1, se2(crown also), se3(redacted t3). SO ive spent many hours inside the game + dmz. And this is my experience. I will say the special vest are nice, but the added benefit or gain is relatively tiny to other factors that play a role during gameplay for a successful raid or successful win of particular fight. So take that into consideration also! Its just a relative small bump that can only sway outcomes a certain way when used timely and well.

Shooting suppressed weapon will reveal you with next 1-2 sweeps as a red filled in square, shooting unsuppressed reveals you immediately as a filled in square. 4. Stealth vest vs comms, using UAV tower = does not show up on the minimap. Shooting suppressed weapon will reveal you with next 1-2 sweeps as a red filled in square, shooting unsuppressed reveals you immediately as a filled in square. 5. Stealth vest vs comms and no comms using advanced UAV killstreak = does show up as a filled in square. Suppressed gunfire has no effect, unsuppressed should reveal you immediately. Side note: stealth vest does not disable comms vest's audio message about enemy opperators/squad/platoon within 100m (minimap range). Side note #2: suppressed barrels may reveal you in situations where suppressor muzzles hide you (unknown if bug or intended as of S3 reloaded). Side note #3: having ghost from the exfil streak AND a stealth vest is not covered in the video.
There needs to be a graph put together showing how each thing interacts with eachother to we can easily see what does what. I might actually work on that later today.
Thanks bro, I completely agree. A graph would be excellent, because that was a ton of very useful information in a rapid fire session. I can’t recall it all probably because I was disappointed at some of the results. I just can’t find a reason to deploy the stealth vest over the comms.
not sure but i think the comms tower is a glitch. i've hunted squads with the stealth vest on, and successfully snuck up on players who had the tower up. I even heard one guy on proxy chat once say, "where the heck did the go?" just before i snuck up behind him
FYI, supposedly the supressed barrels don't have the benefit of removing the user from the minimap while firing, only the suppressed muzzle attachments do that. At least as of season 3 update, not sure if season 3 reloaded corrected the integral barrel suppressors. Great video, appreciate the testing and knowledge sharing.
For a good balance the stealth vest should be invisible to all uavs, except advanced uavs and also block out the comms vest alert until your 50 metres from players using the comms vest, but keeping the comms vest alert 100 metres for anyone not using the stealth vest.
Comms vest is 50 meters period there's multiple videos and even webpages that explain all the new vest and in it it says coms vest alert is at 50 meters since regular uav is at 150 max range

Clearly in typical COD fashion is that there's something broken. Probably why they haven't come out with clear ways on how these vests work. But man, it must be nice to be able to establish players from bots when wearing the comms vest....
I recored a 5 min rant about the AUAV not working the same way on PC as it does on console, but I decided to not include it in the vid. Something big like that should get patched out fast af..it's been like this for a month now...
@@LeSkinner when they released season 3 they made it so AI and players look different on the AUAV, but they only updated that for the console. PC players can still not differentiate between AI and players

This is exactly why I don't use Stealth Vest. I did for like 2 days then i realized the comms vest is better so why use Stealth vest. I rather know people are coming into the area than hide from UAV.

That way it would at least be possible to be sneaky and remain undetected IF your whole team had the stealth vest. Currently all it takes is for one player from an enemy team to have the comms vest on and they'll ALWAYS know that there's someone nearby them and there's nothing you can do about it.

IT is a tough balance. 3 or more players running comms can triangulate players using the audio cue. on an advanced UAV you look like AI as opposed to operator.
If I'm seeing this right. The pulses happen faster on the terminal uav's, but they don't ping below where they are at sea level. So air UAV pulses slowly but covers everything below it. Terminal UAV pulses quickly but everything level to or above it.

Build a gun with and without a suppressor, give it to the random so you can control what suppressors are being used. That might give more consistent results.
amazing.. suppressors are broken in the main MP game, but not in DMZ...you'd think they could fix that crap pretty early..(maybe fixed by now, but, for months,, suppressor or not, ghost perk was nullified when shooting ).
Video Request: Breakdown of the best locations where to find the materials for the vests and packs. Example: best place to find soothing hand cream is in warehouse areas (followed by a few map locations shown) ect ect.
Before this I basically thought u would always be invisible on the minimap no matter what nor alert anyone wearing a comms vest, seems pretty useless now tho I'll def be sticking with comes and medic vests now
I can tell you one thing for sure . As bad as it may be I’ve pulled off so many clutches with this vest and doing finishing moves on DMZ. It’s very tactical you just have to keep moving with it

At this point is anyone really surprised this vest is bugged? Almost everything else they add to CoD has issues so why would this be any different? I hope they fix it. I'm cool with the comms vest alerting players there is an enemy nearby since that is its purpose and they could be anywhere within a 100 meter radius so not necessarily too easy to find them, but the stealth vest should keep you off every type of UAV.
the only suppressors that work to keep the ghost perk or stealth vest enabled whilst firing your weapon has to be muzzle type supprressors not barrels with integrated suppressors
Supposedly they fixed the suppressor with ghost and a UAV up interaction. So I wonder if firing your suppressed weapon in the UAV tower is just a leftover bug?.
Keep in mind that any form of UAV and the Comms vest does not work correctly specifically on PC. Console players have no issues with UAVs and Comms vests. They work as intended for console players. Hopefully this up coming update fixes it for PC.

I assumed it blocked out all UAV.. found out the hard way... The moment someone popped a UAV or tower I just crouched away into a corner to wait till they go away.. Yeah didnt end so well.. I honestly called them out for hacking.. but now I know.. just ignore the stealth vest and use a comms vest
when you turned on the UAV for the first time, you were probably wearing an electrician's vest or it was enough that it was in the inventory, most likely that's why you saw a friend
I had a stealth vest on and i was in the uav circle and they couldn't see me i know because i heard the coms but today i was in the uav circle hiding in a bush because theys guys was right on top of me but they seemed to have found me one guy walked right past me the other shot me while i was prone in the bushes not making a noise i couldn't understand how he found me i think he was cheating thats all i could come up with but you showed that sometimes they can see you so i don't really know whats going on ill try find other clips to see why they are finding me i wasn't shooting at anyone as soon as the tower went up i hid in the bushes but they found me
I'm pretty sure that vest was bugged, as the stealth vest DOES work on UAV towers. Possibly because you just recently picked up comms vest prior to activating the uav tower (even though you didn't have it equipped at that moment). The main reason comms vest with uavs works is because, for yourself, it turns all normal uavs into advanced and those have almost always worked against ghost in the passed.

I would love to know whether or not squads can join up with each other in Building 21 or the new Koschei Complex. Also, is it possible for you to load into either of those places and there are no real players? Or are other players always guaranteed? Maybe an idea for a new video!
You can't squad up once you're in either of those places, but you can squad up before entering Koschei complex, which would allow you to enter as a 4+ squad. You CAN spawn as the only squad in Koschei. Had it happen a couple of times when going for Heated Madness. Exfilled seconds before the gas took over. No one else exfilled the entire game. Visited 3 of the 4 spawn locations. Never heard any gunshots or comms vest triggers. I don't think you can spawn as the only squad in B21. At least it has never happened to me and i play crazy hours in my region lol.
How works the crossbow ? Is it considered as a supressed weapon or a CQC/melee alongside the throwing knife ? I think Radio Tower and regular UAV should be similar (ghost vest prevent to be seen until firing non supressed weapons). Advanced UAV is fine as how it is. Just these vest should be way harder to obtain. Everyone is running one of these... It should at least require a regular 3 plates vest in addition of the current stuff list to build one.

My pleasure, man! Yeah, you still get the audio cue eventhough they are using stealth vest. The audio can glitch out sometimes tho. If the "announcer" have more audio cues at the same time, it can cancel the enemy player warning
I would argue that it should block out all UAV. The Advanced UAV it should show you but as an AI as it was currently bugged on pc. So someone with an advanced UAV could still see a person and if he is sitting in an irregualr location they will know it is a player. Its not that big deal. if you try to blend in with AI the chances are the AI will start shooting you if your close. I believe the comms vest should still ping a stealth vest user. Coms vest is not a UAV because you cant see the location. You just know a player is 100m any ware around you..
I think when they changed ghost in MP to no longer show you while shooting with a suppressor and having ghost they forgot to change how the UAV towers worked
I don't know why this is happening, because the times I've tried it I always the the comms. I must say tho, people who have been saying they don't get the comms are in a squad where multiple teammates have the comms vest. When I tried it the first time my friend was also wearing the comms vest and it was only I who got the comms. He got nothing. So it might be a bug if multiple teammates are running the comms vest, but I'm not sure.
Yeah, they are against comms vest at least. If the enemy doesn't have the comms vest, UAV killstreak is a bit stronger because you won't be visible when firing a suppressed weapon
So basically the Stealth vest is useless because you never really know if it’s working or not. On top of that a comms vest practically negates it anyway. And I know for certain that the comms vest picks up players with the stealth vest anyway. Regardless of UAV.
Many people are reporting this and I don't know what's causing it. The times I've tried Comms vest VS Stealth I get the notification. It might be because the "announcer" has multiple audio cues at the same time and it can cancel the player warning mid audio. That has happened to me many times at least.
Cuz I was down in complex an 2 players didn't go on comms vest an I got killed all it said was hostile was getting g bad I open door an player was right there an killed me
The quality of your videos should make your channel bigger. I would post more honestly if you want to blow up. At least a video every other day or just a couple times a week. Even one video a week would be an improvement. Love the videos though. Keep up the work my guy.
Glad to hear you are diggin the vids! The goal is to post more often. I was new to both video and photo editing so it has taken alot of time to get them to the quality I'm satisfied with. I'm starting to get a better workflow tho, so that part is not as time-consuming anymore. I'm also going to up my shorts game to fill the gap between the vids. Long story short...expect vids more often!
Depending on the timing of the video they suddenly (without notice) have changed the stealth vest. Now stealth vest aren't visible on uav and advanced anymore.
Yeah, the comms vest is still my go to vest when playing solo at least and if I'm in a squad someone is always running that. The only downside is that the AUAV is still not working as it should on PC
My comms vestvhas been not detecting players or squads lately. 1 enemy was using a geiger counter 5 ft away and accidentally stood by my side........i got him and he had a med vest. Another guy earlier that day killed me and i just guessed he had stealth vest vs comms but i doubted it. When the guy with the med vest didnt set comms off it confirmed its bugged to me. Idk fn sucks And yes once i was wearingva stealth and AUAV gave up my position and got me merked. They should all be set to theyre full functions. Stealth shouldnt show up on UAvs at all. Or show up as 3 dots in thermal.

IT is a tough balance. 3 or more players running comms can triangulate players using the audio cue. on an advanced UAV you look like AI as opposed to operator.

If I'm seeing this right. The pulses happen faster on the terminal uav's, but they don't ping below where they are at sea level. So air UAV pulses slowly but covers everything below it. Terminal UAV pulses quickly but everything level to or above it.

Build a gun with and without a suppressor, give it to the random so you can control what suppressors are being used. That might give more consistent results.
amazing.. suppressors are broken in the main MP game, but not in DMZ...you'd think they could fix that crap pretty early..(maybe fixed by now, but, for months,, suppressor or not, ghost perk was nullified when shooting ).

I really wish stealth vest didn't alert comms and was invis to advanced, thus making them viable even if you have ghost perk from exfil streaks.

I can tell you one thing for sure . As bad as it may be I’ve pulled off so many clutches with this vest and doing finishing moves on DMZ. It’s very tactical you just have to keep moving with it
It's not bad imo. Like you said, you can clutch up pretty hard with it. Having comms vest and a stealth in the backpack is pretty nice

At this point is anyone really surprised this vest is bugged? Almost everything else they add to CoD has issues so why would this be any different? I hope they fix it. I'm cool with the comms vest alerting players there is an enemy nearby since that is its purpose and they could be anywhere within a 100 meter radius so not necessarily too easy to find them, but the stealth vest should keep you off every type of UAV.

the only suppressors that work to keep the ghost perk or stealth vest enabled whilst firing your weapon has to be muzzle type supprressors not barrels with integrated suppressors
Supposedly they fixed the suppressor with ghost and a UAV up interaction. So I wonder if firing your suppressed weapon in the UAV tower is just a leftover bug?.

player movement is a factor
For any of the vests to work you must have back up plates in your backpack if you run out of reserve plates the vest will not work.
You can see someone with a stealth vest with a recon drone it just wont ping them. Also the comms vest counters the stealth vest.

You should test both the UAV's with the comms vest, it boosts range on it aswell. Ive tested the AUAV with comms and its range is like 850-900m.
Keep in mind that any form of UAV and the Comms vest does not work correctly specifically on PC. Console players have no issues with UAVs and Comms vests. They work as intended for console players. Hopefully this up coming update fixes it for PC.

I assumed it blocked out all UAV.. found out the hard way... The moment someone popped a UAV or tower I just crouched away into a corner to wait till they go away.. Yeah didnt end so well.. I honestly called them out for hacking.. but now I know.. just ignore the stealth vest and use a comms vest

when you turned on the UAV for the first time, you were probably wearing an electrician's vest or it was enough that it was in the inventory, most likely that's why you saw a friend

I had a stealth vest on and i was in the uav circle and they couldn't see me i know because i heard the coms but today i was in the uav circle hiding in a bush because theys guys was right on top of me but they seemed to have found me one guy walked right past me the other shot me while i was prone in the bushes not making a noise i couldn't understand how he found me i think he was cheating thats all i could come up with but you showed that sometimes they can see you so i don't really know whats going on ill try find other clips to see why they are finding me i wasn't shooting at anyone as soon as the tower went up i hid in the bushes but they found me
I'm pretty sure that vest was bugged, as the stealth vest DOES work on UAV towers. Possibly because you just recently picked up comms vest prior to activating the uav tower (even though you didn't have it equipped at that moment). The main reason comms vest with uavs works is because, for yourself, it turns all normal uavs into advanced and those have almost always worked against ghost in the passed.

I would love to know whether or not squads can join up with each other in Building 21 or the new Koschei Complex. Also, is it possible for you to load into either of those places and there are no real players? Or are other players always guaranteed? Maybe an idea for a new video!
You can't squad up once you're in either of those places, but you can squad up before entering Koschei complex, which would allow you to enter as a 4+ squad. You CAN spawn as the only squad in Koschei. Had it happen a couple of times when going for Heated Madness. Exfilled seconds before the gas took over. No one else exfilled the entire game. Visited 3 of the 4 spawn locations. Never heard any gunshots or comms vest triggers. I don't think you can spawn as the only squad in B21. At least it has never happened to me and i play crazy hours in my region lol.

No, I stowed it. When my friend dropped the vest. You can see on the vest symbol that it shows a 2-plate carrier when I activate the tower
How works the crossbow ? Is it considered as a supressed weapon or a CQC/melee alongside the throwing knife ?
I think Radio Tower and regular UAV should be similar (ghost vest prevent to be seen until firing non supressed weapons).
Advanced UAV is fine as how it is.

It should at least require a regular 3 plates vest in addition of the current stuff list to build one.
Crossbow doesn't count as silenced weapon, you will show on radar when firing crossbow.

My pleasure, man! Yeah, you still get the audio cue eventhough they are using stealth vest. The audio can glitch out sometimes tho. If the "announcer" have more audio cues at the same time, it can cancel the enemy player warning
I would argue that it should block out all UAV. The Advanced UAV it should show you but as an AI as it was currently bugged on pc. So someone with an advanced UAV could still see a person and if he is sitting in an irregualr location they will know it is a player. Its not that big deal. if you try to blend in with AI the chances are the AI will start shooting you if your close. I believe the comms vest should still ping a stealth vest user. Coms vest is not a UAV because you cant see the location. You just know a player is 100m any ware around you..
I think when they changed ghost in MP to no longer show you while shooting with a suppressor and having ghost they forgot to change how the UAV towers worked

My whole team had comms vests and a team with stealth vests snuck up on us. Not a single one of us got an alert.
I don't know why this is happening, because the times I've tried it I always the the comms. I must say tho, people who have been saying they don't get the comms are in a squad where multiple teammates have the comms vest. When I tried it the first time my friend was also wearing the comms vest and it was only I who got the comms. He got nothing. So it might be a bug if multiple teammates are running the comms vest, but I'm not sure.
Did you have an active mission? Comms vests stops alerting of nearby players if you have an active quest in my experience.
So the UAV towers are more powerful than the kill streaks and the only thing i can think is that you have to risk turning on the UAV
Yeah, they are against comms vest at least. If the enemy doesn't have the comms vest, UAV killstreak is a bit stronger because you won't be visible when firing a suppressed weapon
So basically the Stealth vest is useless because you never really know if it’s working or not.
On top of that a comms vest practically negates it anyway.
And I know for certain that the comms vest picks up players with the stealth vest anyway. Regardless of UAV.

Cuz I was down in complex an 2 players didn't go on comms vest an I got killed all it said was hostile was getting g bad I open door an player was right there an killed me
The quality of your videos should make your channel bigger. I would post more honestly if you want to blow up. At least a video every other day or just a couple times a week. Even one video a week would be an improvement. Love the videos though. Keep up the work my guy.
Glad to hear you are diggin the vids! The goal is to post more often. I was new to both video and photo editing so it has taken alot of time to get them to the quality I'm satisfied with. I'm starting to get a better workflow tho, so that part is not as time-consuming anymore. I'm also going to up my shorts game to fill the gap between the vids. Long story short...expect vids more often!

Depending on the timing of the video they suddenly (without notice) have changed the stealth vest. Now stealth vest aren't visible on uav and advanced anymore.

Yeah, the comms vest is still my go to vest when playing solo at least and if I'm in a squad someone is always running that. The only downside is that the AUAV is still not working as it should on PC
My comms vestvhas been not detecting players or squads lately.
1 enemy was using a geiger counter 5 ft away and accidentally stood by my side........i got him and he had a med vest.
Another guy earlier that day killed me and i just guessed he had stealth vest vs comms but i doubted it.
When the guy with the med vest didnt set comms off it confirmed its bugged to me. Idk fn sucks
And yes once i was wearingva stealth and AUAV gave up my position and got me merked.
They should all be set to theyre full functions. Stealth shouldnt show up on UAvs at all. Or show up as 3 dots in thermal.
