I had a mentor once say, "Tell future bosses you want to take the ball when the game is on the line," and I replied, "Doesn't everybody want that?" It turns out that, no, many people are not willing to be the one on whom important decisions and actions turn. They shy away from it. Whereas, with Significance, when I feel competent in an area, yes, I will welcome the stress of a crucial moment with all eyes on me. I'll perform better then, knowing my moment has come.

Powerful. I know I have down played who I am because I thought wanting to be in the front was wrong.

Whoa! She just said people with significance (#11) have a strong correlation between what they do and who they feel like they are. I just looked up to the "motivational thought" I tacked up on my wall, and it says "What I do right now is who I am and who I will be." Crazy!

Do you know Dr. Clifton's personal StrengthsFinder assessment results? I am curious of his signature strengths? I love that he had Significance and this has really helped one of my clients who is currently struggling with her #1 significance theme. Thanks!

My 5th strength is significance. Does that mean this strength of mine is low?

Not at all! Actually your dominant themes can be between 8 and 13!

Its actually the opposite. Itʻs one of your top themes! Thereʻs 34 in all that your test accounts for. Unfortunately you have to pay to unlock the rest. So about at the 12 - 13 theme it gets lower. .

No the opposite. Its number 2 for me. So rare and so lucky to have it as a theme
