This was the first year I really started watching the Redskins, I was 10 years old…I specifically remember watching this game, thanks for bringing back the memories…I loved the players on this team, Stephen Davis was my favorite player… On a side note I’ve only witnessed the Snyder years …hopefully he sells and we can re-live glory days again..sadly not as the Redskins tho
I remember growing up in the Chicago-land region. My school was nothing but Chicago Bears fans. Let's just say, when I went into school with my #14 Brad Johnson jersey... I felt like my 10 year old self won the Super Bowl lmaooooo.... @retroskins love your 1999 & 2000 era videos. It helps show more modern fans the beginning of the downfall. People forget Brad Johnson threw for 4005 that season, when passing yards were not as common.... That was a great team.
This was the last Bears game Walter Payton watched. He died the next day. His family had said even in his state, he was still so upset with how bad they were beaten.
As fans, with the new ownership, we need to make sure to thank these players that got neglected by Snyder: Brad Johnson, Brian Mitchell, Champ Bailey, Stephen Davis, & even Charles Casserly.
Lifelong red skin, Washington, football team, commanders, fan. It’s really hard for me to say Washington football football team and commanders. It’s just not right. ! BUT WHAT I WANT TO SAY IS I REALLY LOVED THAT. 99 TEAM !
I remember this game like it was yesterday I say that because I thought the 99 season was going to be our year again. We looked so good and we had so much talent on that team and then the bottom fell out and everything got poo poo on a very rememberable seasonfor all the wrong reasons but holy shit talk about a game-talk about one team just imposing their will on another team. You could see literally after Washington scores of touchdown and makes it 31 nothing then the Bears fumble inside their 10 and Stephen runs it in. I’m sure their entire defense had nightmares that night about Stephen Davis just kicking their ass, my boy ran rough shot through (DA-BEARS)
My favorite Redskin running back. These are personal opinions. OK not facts= Stephen Davis runs with speed and power I think he was the best running back. The Redskins have ever had fucking. PERIOD!
Pick your three favorite Redskin running backs : (personal opinion ) (. Not fact. ) Larry Brown, John Riggins, my all-time favorite Steven Davis …….. Honorable mention Kelvin Bryant
Kenny Albert is the man.

Now the Redskins/Football Team/Commanders have a pig mascot named Major Tuddy!! it just gets better for D.C. football.
JB????? Is this you from Twitter???
Brad Johnson was such a huge loss for us!! I loved this team!! and in 2000..
At 1:51, Dan Wilkinson brought down the HOUSE!😮😮😮😮😮😮
I had just turned 21 and this was an awesome win! I remember this season better than many of the more recent years. 1999 NFC East Champions! HTTR
Wow. I'm a Bears fan and I mostly remember every game from this era, but for some reason I forgot about this one.
I'm glad I did.
Ha! RetroSkins offers condolences to you and your fellow Bears fans. It’s been a rough road for you…
Yeah, that and also the fact that this was the final game that Walter Payton saw before his passing a day later😞

I remember my mom going crazy when Dan Wilkinson intercepted that ball and took it all the way
The opening run was beautiful. The cutback to set up a block was perfect.
Derek's Smith 4th down BLOW UP of the Bears fullback Ty Hallock was EPIC!!!!
didn't realize how fast Stephen Davis was
He was a BEAST
THIS 21 year old....was one HAPPY college senior back then. FUN TIMES!!! #HTTRedskins

Very kind of you to say. Many more games to share.
Damn, that was a good redskins team in '99
We have had some awesome TE’s But if I’m picking one if I’m a GM starting a team, I’m picking Steven Alexander !
I spy Albert Connell blocking out ahead of that one! Dude had some jets.

Dam we had the best uniforms my Skins
Great uniforms. Classic look that’s mostly home these days.
Washington finished 10 and 6, the Bears 6 and 10.
Man that 99 tram was special. Would have won atleast 2 super bowls if Snyder didn't screw up that roster

0:00 the first appearance of South East Jerome?

Yes a bad loss for chi but jauron did end up getting 2 wins vs wsh the most in the post-ditka era and that includes lovie who couldn’t even get 1
I remember this game. Bears were terrible in the late 90’s.
Da Bears at their lowest
First round pick CB Walt Harris sucked. That should have been a pick-6 in the first play, that butter fingers.
Wonderful!! I saw this disaster in person and now I have the lowlights to watch and recall on RUclips. LOL!! #BearDown
