With RUclips, we have the privilege to see and hear Dwight develop himself from youth to middle-age and today into old age. We all have a favorite musician we lost too soon or whose voice gave out or who just quit after giving us all they had. Dwight keeps right on writing, singing, and appearing and for his dedication we should be truly thankful.
Tom Hardenbergh 60 ain't young But hats off he's a pro Still improving. Takes care of himself Saw him live twice. In last few years. Strong voice. Lots left in the tank. His. Guitar playing is greatly improved Yep I'm thankful and happy for him. Really a pro. Eddie Perez is killing it right now too
@@briankelly5432 Maybe when he turns 70, 70 will be the new 50. He has amazing stamina and desire to continue touring and do the many other things he does. Thanks Dwight!
I can't think of anyone as excellent as this guy, he is definitely top 5 all around best musicians on the planet, he can do it all, so crisp and clear, fabulous Dwight Yokum!!!
Glen Yates I think today's "Country" music sucks. It's NOT Country music at all. I can't listen to the crap. Give me Dwight, Willie (without his fucked up Politics), Hank, Sr...NOT Jr., Pasty Cline, David Allan Coe, Conway Twitty, George Strait, George Jones, and Ricky Van Shelton. It's been a year since you posted, and not one single Asshole has bothered to respond to your Comment. I just saw it , and felt it warranted a reply. Gob Bless you too, sir- Your Texas neighbor
Dwight and his guitar XXXXX Love this! he just sings and plays ..with seemingly no effort.... and also enjoing what he does....Cant wait for his new album....coming out soon ,XXXXXX..
This was a change seeing, Eddie Perez of the Mavericks, good to see him play with Dwight again! It was hard to see many of our country music legends depart us, but legends like Eddie, DY, Flaco, R. Malo and many other will be tougher.
I LOVE finding Dwight stuff that has a new twist on the originals... he just gets betterer and betterer...and this from a total metalhead that has EVERY single ONE of his albums... oh yeah! SUCH a smexy man...sighhhhhh...
Tom Hardenbergh I agree. But. Dwight is getting better and better on guitar In this set up it is noticeable I agree that he is no slouch And Eddie Well. He's a lead guitarist
Did you set this background up on purpose? I know what I see. And you have to see it clearly yourself. It's no coincidence. Incredible actually. You should know what its about 🤔👍💋🧜♀️
Too bad his career is on the downside now , however I listen to his old stuff all the time every chance I get.. always went to see him when he came to Phoenix Arizona🌵☀️

Well now, this is just perfect. Enjoy Dwight's guitar work. It is often buried in the mix at his concerts.
Tom Hardenbergh I agree. But. Dwight is getting better and better on guitar In this set up it is noticeable I agree that he is no slouch And Eddie Well. He's a lead guitarist

That version of "Blame the Vain" sure kicks ass! Sweet sweet music :-). I don't really understand the point of the lyrics though.
+Morten Nielsen You kind of have to life life to understand.
Take some responsibility and think about it. Before blaming someone else for what's going down, first look to home

Well it's a hankering , really
Great song and performance by an all time great, but good lord the sound of an acoustic instrument with a piezo pickup is nauseating.
