Don't let the rain spoil your day. The best day I remembered growing up in PH is having fun in the rain, getting wet and making paper boat and sailing them in running rainy water. Have fun and enjoy your stay.
Try. Pork sisig next time around, made from pigs cheeks and ears, grilled first then chopped and placed in sizzling plate to achieve crunchiness. That is how a REAL sisig is all about. More tasty and flavorful.Im sure you can find a resto serving authentic sisig there in Siargao. That chicken variety of sisig is plain sauteed chicken bits.
I'm glad you enjoyed the location as well as the food... What you had was called Long-Si-Log = Longganisa+Sinangag+Itlog = Sweet sausage+Garlic Fried Rice+(Fried) Egg There are many variety of it. Try 'em all! Keep exploring!.. Peace!..
Too bad Mamas Grill was sold out. I will tell you...amazing Filipino BBQ!!!! I’m envious of you guys, hehehehe. I miss Siargao & The Philippines. I’ll be going back next year 😀. Great vlog!!
Glad you enjoyed the food...btw, filipino way of eating is the spoon is onthe right to scoop up the soup and rice, and the fork on the left, the other way is by hand...safe travels to you both
Love the fact that you’recin Siargao, the Best Island in Asia, according to Ocnde Nast Traveler! Please don’t miss the gems of Siargao. Go to Magpupungko Rock Pools and Sugba Lagoon. Both require early visitation as getting there later than 11am will make it crowded. Another one is Corregidor Island. Do a mini hike by the afternoon and spend your descent from the mini island hike going to the beach and wait for the best sunset scene! Just leave the island before it gets dark cause it’s hard to sail at night. And lastly, visit the Maasin River for a local style rope swing on the IG-famous bent coconut tree!
Ha haha. You are absolutely right. It was difficult to fathom but i was also sitting on a hilltop in one of the beaches in Malibu, I was thinking the same thing !!! Philippines is in the opposite side!!!
oh no, not again 😢. Mama's grill ran out of meat? wow, that place is really really famous now.. Long-Si-Log (Longanisa-Sinangag-itLOG). Longganisa is Filipino sausage, it varies from region to region. We have different kinds of Si-Log, haha. Hope you try Mango shake and Mango float (cake dessert). 😊👍❤
Mango shakes = 100% DELICOUS. Thankfully, there are tons of places to find some good bbq in Siargao. We were amazed at how many restaurants seem to have sprung up just recently, you can just tell they are new! Siargao much have had a huge tourism BOOM!
Thanks to this video, I didn't know that Cloud 9 is only 9th in CNN's Top 50 surfing spots in the world. According to the article, "Skin and sometimes bone are often ripped to shreds by the ocean bed." Wicked! Google Map: www.google.com/maps/@9.8136724,126.165131,441m/data=!3m1!1e3
Jinspiration & More yup for sure. Also sizzling chicken joy from Havana's cafe (think that's what it was called) was the best pinoy dish I've ever had. And I've had a lot lol
Yes, we did know that and it is very clear to see similarities in culture between the two compared to the rest of southeast asia. Thanks so much for watching our video!
We were lucky to try sisig with and without the egg, and the taste is definitely different. Personally, we liked it without the egg, it kind of tastes like fajitas!
Are you sure? The Philippines’ cuisine is as varied as the many dialects and languages spoken. You’ve generalized what you know as Filipino food as being that of the whole country. It’s like saying Japanese food is only about Sushi and ramen. Not all Filipino food are greasy, grilled or fried! There are vegetables too in Filipino cooking. What the heck are you talking about????
You guy’s are unique and lovely couples thank you for sharing this amazing

use the calamansi in the sisig =)
You need to put them on the spoon together and eat. Meat, Rice and Egg together.

LOL, it was a joke!
Wear helmet guys. Be safe!!!
Unfortunately we weren't given any!! Leah was extremely nervous the entire time. We do not promote driving bikes without helmets!
@@Peregrination never ever ride a motorcycle without a crash helmet.
Zach eating bananas what??
A MIRACLE.
Sisig is best without the eggs. Eggs can ruin the original taste of it

helmet for safety
Most Filipino dishes focus on meats, rarely vegetables, grilled or fried, so it's greasy. The taste is not very varied.
Suttisak Mathurapongsakul it’s unhealthy
