In Chinatown's local hang out Stockton Street where you can buy lunch for around $5 to $6 at many eateries, normally 3 items of your choice plus rice. 🤗 🤗 🤗
As a local for over a decade, I can definitely say that parking in SF sucks . I believe the folks in this video were experiencing the ample parking in The Avenues where it's easier to find. I would recommend not getting a rental car unless you have a decent amount of day trips taking you out of the city. If you must rent a car, make sure you take all of your valuables out of the car. At very least, nothing in your car (even a candy bar) should be viewable from the outside. Break-ins are common and happen all the time with people who are careless, especially with unsuspecting tourists. If you're sticking around SF, take public transit, Lyft, bike, walk, etc. Yes, it is a VERY walkable city. So ALWAYS wear comfortable shoes, bring sunglasses, put on some sunscreen, wear layers, and be nice.
Tip: Parking fees are outrageous; so use public transportation as much as possible or walk. Just know that car break ins are up 700%. So don’t leave anything in your car.
Good budget travel tips. I drove all the way from LA to SF just to do a volunteer work for the Red Cross but it was worth the drive seeing the beautiful sceneries.
Fantastic video & Congratulations on coming in under your budget! This information is very helpful whereas I’m visiting San Francisco next month & I’m traveling on a budget as well. The bloopers at the end was hilarious, I love it😂
First I have to say you guys are pretty adorable! And having spent 10 days in California about 6 weeks ago from Vancouver, Canada (for the first time in my life!) - I totally agree on the general cost of being a tourist there....IF you're not careful! But like you pointed out, if you're a little creative with your frugality, it's totally doable. And I have to say that despite all the unfortunate problems they're having with their homelessness, etc.... It still is a very beautiful welcoming city. And that's beautiful with a capital b because I had no idea just how scenic the city really is, whether it's from the top of one of the hills overlooking the water or crossing the golden gate bridge and overlooking the bay, it really is a lovely place! Now regarding that Sundae you quickly showed..... That's going to have to be on my to-do list next time I'm there 🤤
Hi cute couple, I like your video, tx for tip public transport included bus metro and boat if I have understand correct that with clipper card I can use all? 😃
Enjoying your videos; some great adventures, Do you use stock drone footage or do your own drone footage and if so, did you need any special permissions?
Yes those are crazy....once a seagull took the hot dog out of my son corn dog!!..yes just the meat gone and stick with corndog crust while holding it!!.. hey y’all didn’t go and check out the nude beach ??
I love visiting San Francisco. I noticed that it looks like yo ate some sourdough bread and didn't include it in final budget ,and that Gheridelli sundae at $15,you didn't include.
I clicked this video because I am visiting SF right now and I am just so shocked how expensive everything is. My total expenses for food yesterday was 60 Pounds which is about 73 dollars. I paid 7 dollars on a rather small cappuccino (including tip). I had an American breakfast, a Bahn MI with chips and then packaged sushi rolls from a supermarket. That was it!!!! No fancy places what so ever. Its quite ridiculous tbh
Sleeping in your car is NOT legal in San Francisco. It’s tolerated in certain non-residential areas by semi-homeless people but if you want to do it as a tourist in a residential area you’d better be very discreet. And if it becomes a thing (as a result of viewers follow your advice) you’ll definitely see some enforcement. Just get a hotel. There’s lots and they’re still far from full most of the time.
Yes it's safe...just stick to the tourists areas like GG Bridge, Union Square, Alcatraz, Pier 39, Ferry Building , Lombard St. Fisherman's Wharf, , Palace of Fine Arts etc and you will be fine. The City is walkable just stay out of the Tenderloin and don't leave valuables in your car, better yet just ride Uber or Lyft
Pakistan is best country to spend vacations. loving people, natural beauty, delicious Foods & peace. I've visited Pakistan in 2019 so cheap so nice country 🇵🇰

Watch is the place (or activity) in San Francisco and/or Northern California that you haven't been able to do yet?
Uber/lyft offers ride share with people? Didn’t they disable because of covid?
Please cut it with the "sleeping in the car" bit. It is absolutely not legal to sleep in a car in San Francisco.
