  • In this video I demonstrate how to change the engine oil on a 2022 Toyota rav4.
I attribute my successes to god and give him the glory.
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:18-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jason you forgot to drop the oil filter. I have never heard of 0W16 weight oil you learn something new everyday.

Ahh the power of editing, I’ll never drop the filter again. I never heard of 0w16 either but they carry it at Walmart now. I couldn’t really find it when we first got the car but once the free maintenance ran out Walmart had it so I got lucky. They carry the Toyota filters too which was nice.

Looks like Toyota went back to the spin on oil filter. Why manufacturers went back to 50s technology with the cartridge filter I'll never know. I was surprised to see 0W20 oil. Now they are down to 0W16. Do you have any oil consumption issues with such a low weight oil?

I prefer the spin on filters myself. I’m a little ashamed to admit I don’t really check the oil much so I’m not sure if there is any oil consumption. That sounds worse saying then it did in my head. I’ll have to check it more and see.
