Thank you for the review. On your timegrapher, the accuracy is quite good despite relatively high beat error (for both positions). That is interesting, I wonder if it applies to Powermatic 80 movements in general.
Would love it if you made a video on the Seiko SLA-073 with the 8L35 movement, that beautiful bracelet and great size at 42.5mm . I feel like this is kinda the future of seiko divers and that they’re gonna come out with various dial variants of this exact model and design language.
I believe that is a USA Special edition. I'm in Canada so probably wont ever make a video on it. But I did review the sla055 2 years ago which is a similar watch.
@@EscapementWatch You must be mistaken, the sla075 is the USA limited edition whereas the sla073 is available worldwide. And yeah i agree the the sla055 and sla057 are pretty much the same watch excluding the bracelet, ever brilliant steel and the finishing.
strange as Kavar jewelers usually gets every high end Seiko and they did not get this one. Maybe its still on route! Hopefully, I'll get to check it out!
Not my aesthetic cup of tea. I don’t understand the purpose of the crown guard if one is able to unscrew the crown in a normal fashion (as well as using a screwdriver to unscrew the crown). Seems the crown guard is aesthetic with little functionality. To each their own.
You Do Not need a screwdriver! You just unscrew the crown like normal. The crown guard will move away from the case when you unscrew the crown. Then when you screw the crown back down the crown guard follows. I am not sure why he used a screwdriver. That particular screw attaches the crown guard to the crown! Purposely undoing that screw will detach the crown to the guard. It wasn't meant to be messed with. 😂 This exact design was released over a year ago in 46mm. I have that model. I should get the 41mm version in for comparison. Here is the 46mm ruclips.net/video/uLgYsIwr0uU/видео.htmlsi=gEizLjTTtYuOwyei
They've come a long way from the ultra clunky & ugly titanium Hamilton Khaki Frogman I bought as a beater watch back in the 2010's but like others here, I'm still not a big fan of that crown guard. Even though I think the way it fits into the case is interesting it's still somewhat of an eyesore.
Nice. Not for me, but people that love chunky divers will love this one. Needs a thicker strap to balance the large and wide case though.
Actually looks awesome!
I wonder if a frogman has ever warn one. I have never seen an operator with one.
The original Hamilton's which Frogman is based off yes during the war. The modern frogmen's, that's anyone's guess.
Nice. Ploprof lite.

I have seen many powermatic '80s out of beat.
Nice design apart from that crown guard which is bulky and unnecessary. Polishing the guard makes it stand out even more.
Do you know if this comes on a bracelet?
Yes it does: ref # H77485130
@@EscapementWatch Thanks!
not bad

Looks good on your wrist 👍

41 or 46 ?
Isn't Frogman name exclusive to G-Shock??
Great watch! The accuracy of + 1, 2, 3 seconds a day is very consistent with that movement. First class really. Seiko should be ashamed.

No date so it is a ‘No’ for me
…ok
Im sorry but Hamilton has been missing lately
When were they hitting?
That’s amazing for the price. Your opinion on the design doesn’t make it a miss. It’s just your opinion.
I hate watches/movies crap 🤢🤢
