I think Tissot’s approach is long lasting experience of their chronograph watch that you will look at everyday on your wrist. The simple color combination is great & pure.🎉
Tissot was the first watch i bought. It was quartz. I've bought a few since then. If they ever do away with the butterfly clasp on the steel bracelet i would buy one of these
Rocking the MAEN Brooklyn 36? Nice choice. Regarding the new Tissot chrono, it looks great! Hopefully they can squeeze it into the smaller PR516 Powermatic 80 case. I'd buy one with a smaller case size (and reverse panda color).
The Panerai Luminor Marina cases have traditionally been more expensive than the Bettarini style cases that are used for the entry level models. The new 1628 is similar in price as its predecessor 372. No doubt too high which is why you get these within two years for 6-7k. And they’re banger at that price.
Banger content! I’ve got to admit, Seagull and Panerai look absolutely gorgeous. $3,500 for Seagull is steep though. Thanks for sharing these releases 👌🏻
The Sea-gull rappante chrono looks interesting to me. But you are right Oleg. It just doesn't look great. It needs a better color combination and a 5 year warranty for Sea-Gull to bring me in. The Cimier looks good. I've never seen a Valjoux 7750 movement before with the subdials placed anywhere other than the the 3,9, and 12 locations. I thought for sure it was a Mega-quartz movement.
I had a vintage Cimier with a weird subdial layout. And that had a simple hand wound movement. Their "calling card" are odd subdials so I guess they modify the movement to fit with the branding.
Thank you! Since I'm relaying on press releases sometimes the prices are not available in all currencies. And often it's not just about the conversion rates.
What do I think? The Tissot chrono panda in white / blue is nothing unique nor new - the heralded Bulova Lunar Pilot is the original and 1/3rd the price with its 26khz quartz.
I enjoy your weekly roundup of new watches. So much obviously paid shilling goes on now, a quick look with an opinion or not is so refreshing. I like to check in on Mr Bond too.
I do like the new PR516 automatic from Tissot. I may be one of the minority here but I prefer that is does not have the date so no need to prod the recessed button at 10:00 to advance the date on the Valjoux 7753 based movement, it keeps a cleaner design as well in my humble opinion.
I like my Tissotbut spending money on watches thathold their value seems like a better idea that buying something that will be on sale and cost less in a few years.
The tissot us just ok. I like it's quick release ... not on jubilee though or butterfly clasp. It's something I'd just walk past. The oris wouldn't get a second look.
Nice review of some of whats new! I feel IWC in most cases is over priced. I own the Stowa Cassic Flieger 40. It has great history and is 1/3 the price of the Mark 20 😊
11:10 Id be willing to bet that you could use a fraction of the $3500 you saved to buy a display caseback that will work on the less expensive model if the lack of one is really a dealbreaker.
Chronographs are cool and all but I bet most people who have them never use them for their intended purpose. I would much prefer manufacturers focus on making mechanical calendars more affordable rather than chronographs.
@@EnlightenedRogue24Has nothing to do with being a Rolex fan boy. It's a ridiculous comparison. It's Apples and oranges. Just once I like to see someone defend a brand without dragging Rolex into the argument. Like what does a Daytona have to do with a frigging Tissot. Just shows how ridiculous the hobby can be
I picked up the chronograph PRX in 2023 for over $1800, the pusher popped off only having the watch for three months. I also picked up a gentleman and a PRX. Three Tissot. I would never by another Tissot watch again. You buy cheap, you get cheap. Their bracelet have no Tfit ,something I compromise on not knowing better. Lume was subpar too. I will not buy a watch without tfit on the fly adjustment ever again. Micro brands can afford to add it so why can’t these watches. Grand Seiko, Omega, Tissot need to wake up
I think that video highlights a big… well thick problem actually. Any automatic chronograph is usually a thick one, therefore a manual wind or even a mecha quartz makes more sense to me. Can’t ever see me lusting after an IWC or Panerai somehow. Both crazy expensive although IWC are a quality item, just the designs let them down for me. Panerai just seem to have lost the plot completely!
Not one exciting design included. Everything is the same and has been the same for many years now. I find myself looking for microbrands and even cheaper brands for some excitement in watch designs.
IWC overpriced as always. Oris not only overpriced as always, but this Ms.Piggy is stupid and ugly as well. Tissot's Daytona is just clever, but pity not with the old Tissot logo. SeaGull Rattrapante? No thanks. Panerai is just LOST: a total nonsense. Cimier? Whts that? No.
That Tissot looks great especially on the “jubilee”. Hard to beat the history of the lunar pilot though.
The Tissot is gorgeous
Beautiful watch ❤❤❤❤

Thanks so much for making this video! I just subscribed. And you introduced my to Cimier. Always glad to learn something new.
Tissot hit it out of the park
Love the tissot
Not keen on a butterfly clasp 😢

Thanks! Yeah, I think we'll see more version of this chrono in the coming years.
Like the Tissot PR516. Gives off snoopy speedmaster vibes for the colour scheme, but at a significantly lower price and more obtainable as well.
The Panerai Luminor Marina cases have traditionally been more expensive than the Bettarini style cases that are used for the entry level models.

The Tissot white dial is a classic.

Thank you very much!
I thought the Seagull dial looks a bit Breitling-esque.
I really like the tissot. I own few of them. They are well made watches. I would probably wait until a good deal comes out. 😊
The new Tissot Chrono is classy, and the Cimier looks fun ♥

A colour matched date window on an XX 😊, and not a bad price either.
The F1 2025 season IS NOT AROUND THE CORNER. I cannot wait for another 2 months for Melbourne. Make it start already!
First time viewer of your channel. Nice to the point no BS. I like it. Maybe stick to one currency when giving the price 😉
Thank you! Since I'm relaying on press releases sometimes the prices are not available in all currencies. And often it's not just about the conversion rates.
love your dog 🙂
Thank you! He's the best!
Your content is always great. Being in Canada are you on the larger Facebook groups?
Thank you! I am not really a part of any watch groups at the moment.
Good video i,like all of them.💯👍
Thank you!
Love the Tissot!!!
If the new Sea-Gull movement has the same fail rate as the standard 1901: good luck spending 3,5k on that.
Great show as always. 👍
And what is the fail rate for the 1901?
@TyphonLeTitan I don't think there are official number, but its not good... I might be biased, because my 1901 just stopped working after 3 months...
@@bolchert yeah .... That is always this :P
Love the tissot

The Bulova Lunar Pilot is awesome!
Love my $400 SSC911 “Seitona” ☝️🥴👍
The Sea Gull also looks like a Patek Philippe 5370P-011 homage to me

Thank you for the kind words:)
Another fine program.

That's a valid point my friend
I like my Tissotbut spending money on watches thathold their value seems like a better idea that buying something that will be on sale and cost less in a few years.
What is the name of the watch you are wearing in this video?
It's Maen Brooklyn Triple Date

You're right it's hard to beat Stowa value proposition
Seagull releasing a rattrapante was not on my bingo card 😂 Very interesting though
LOL

Is that a Hanhart on your wrist ??
It's a Maen Brooklyn Triple Date
The Seagull was probably “inspired by” a Breitling Premier
lol

Tissot 516 Chrono look like a better copy of Tudor BB Chrono
I didn't see it until you pointed out
@@24hourstime You are welcome
What are you saying? Caliber 4,000, SW 100? Please check...
Calibre 4000 was obviously just a mistake when referring to the Calibre 400. The SW100 is the smaller version of the SW200 for use in smaller cases.
Yes, my mistake. I meant calibre 400.
Waiting for ORIS COOKIE MONSTER with cookie seconds hand 🍪🍪🍪
Now THAT'S a good idea!
Tissot > it looks better than the Rolex Daytona
We get it hating Rolex makes you really cool

I was totally excited for the new Tissot chronograph until...... you said butterfly clasp. Darn.
Yeah that's a shame. I don't love butterfly clasps either.
6555 views with 6k thumbs up is a wild spec
It's a weird glitch every time I upload a video. In a couple of days it goes to normal.
I think a Kermit miss piggy GMT would be Awesome
No copying the Detona
Already have a Lunar Pilot in the blue panda. The Tissot is just too similar at a much higher price

Cimier made really cheap and unreliable pin pallet escapement watches back in the 70s and 80s. They have come a long way to the present quality 👍🏻
Another watch you would buy and never wear has a collector /watch lover
Thor’s Hammer 💪
💪 💪 💪
IWC is with Lewis not Mercedes. Leaving with lewis
Spent the first 4 minutes getting my entertainment from the dog 🙄
haha
The Tissot chrono is screaming lunar pilot mini white and blue colourway to me. Not bad, but I’d pass to be honest.
8000 views and 6000 likes? Come on, you don't need bots...
it's not bots lol It happens to pretty much every video I upload. Some weird glitch. But in a couple of days it goes back to normal.

that seagull is a longines ripp

Yup, I see Longines in this design

Butterfly clasps need to stop, especially those with no half-links. It's just lazy.
Panerai is really missing the mark. Back to huge, overpriced watches, don’t see that being a good strategy.
Too thick 🤦🏽♂️
The Tissot looks great but you gotta admit it’s a ripoff of the Blue Tudor BB chrono lol. Nearly identical
The whole thing looks 'bottom heavy'.
If you like dogs, as I do, set up a dog channel.
Wow, Tissot releases a Chrono as illegible as the Daytona.
LOL
