Also, if you didn’t know, you can use the Gyro mode to soften the steering to help Do the speed runs if you didn’t know. The only downside to the Gyro is that it can be very confusing. It took me some searching on RUclips to find how to work the Gyro but I believe that helps with steering significantly.
LOL! 72 eh? I run 5 inch tires on mine with stock electronics except receiver and the bigger pinion. Hits low 50's best guess. I am getting better with my controller settings, so control of the car is also getting better. But seriously, this thing is hard to control over 40ish. Mine is lowered with a rake and still rough to control. One thing I can say is this: The Omni Terminator can take a serious hit and drive away! Oh ya.. running 3s, 5500Mah 65c discharge too. See ya on the next one.
tried a few different setups . I settled with 120amp quicrun esc 3660 3200 kv motor 19tooth pinon on 2s. .. currently running same times as 4x4 shortcourse at track and still wheelies .
@@OmniMan_Racing knock on wood , haven't broken anything other than body dings...What motor are you running ?... I have the V1 sc8 combo sitting around been tempted to try the 4068 2700kv and bump pinon to 24t for the giggles. Idk if my 2s batteries can handle the draw tho.... Kinda want a 2nd to do the silly shizz y'all been doing running 4s. Wish someone would buggy conversion one . Seems it would do better than the old backslashes
@@novamegaboxing9701 with the 40mm motors the smallest pinion you can go to is a 40t. It's not worth the swap. It's not fun having to be extra careful. I'm using a HobbyStar 4068 2650kv. Even on 2s my setup does over 45. Gets pretty hot even with fans and a heat sink
I think part of your control problem is how you are driving. You are snapping the steering wheel constantly to make corrections. you need to reduce your steering dual rate when doing speed runs and hold steady stop grabbing and releasing the wheel to make corrections.
Did you get those tires on Rlaarlos website? I seen a few street tires on their website. I wasn’t sure if they fit this specific truck so I didn’t put an order down on them

what did you have your steering rate on? Seem like it needs to be less than 50% EXP.. may 45 or 40. its really wiggly because its so much slop in the hubs and the steering assembly. i got mine up to 60mph and it flipped 8x and kept on moving.. they are built tough for sure.
I think I had set the dual rate to like 35% on the steering. The problem was even with the wheelie bar and I could feed into it as slow as I wanted but the front wheels didn't stay on the ground. Can't steer if the wheels that steer are in the air 😅
Okay awesome can you let me know where you got those tires from because every pair I get anything over like once I hit 45 mph they just keep blowing up and I heard that these are the best tires to go. Right now I'm running a 4 to 6S lipo on here and it's just killer it's awesome

Why is the 40 tooth the smallest you can go ? Does the motor can hit the chassis braces?
@@novamegaboxing9701 it's just how the adjustment on the 40 series mount is. Gotta push the fatter motor farther from the center shaft for clearance

Also need stiffer springs on the right side than the left side with that heavy ass battery pack on one side

Too much negative toe gives you a sensitive steering reaction... if that makes sense. Looks like you just need to spend some time dialing it in.
