- New sweeping immigration legislation, signed into law by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in May of 2022, prohibits anyone from transporting illegal immigrants into the state. It's one of the many restrictions under the new law which some critics say has hampered the state's economy. Manuel Bojorquez has details.

You apparently have a problem comprehending or like to twist things around. He clearly said that “there’s gotta be a way to fix the problem so these people get paid a fair wage and pay their taxes and everybody gets back to work “.
Driving without a license , so also driving without insurance. Taxpayers are put at risk on the very roads their taxes paved. So employers can reap the profits . Lock up the employers also. People all over the world apply legally and are denied. Proximity to the border is not a visa.

Citizens often don’t want these jobs.
Let’s also take home owners and small business owners who are on a tight budget. Latino workers are swift and charge fairly. Almost every contractor I hired that was not Latino had to keep coming out to fix mistakes and charged double.
You know why? Because contractors don’t actually do the work. They’re the middle man with a large overhead.

This country has laws and just because people are poor doesn't give them the right to jump the line in front of people that have been going through the proper channels and waiting there turn. I guess u don't know what's going on at the board, over 2 million people have entered illegally, and nobody knows nothing about them. A lot of the cartel members own llc and run construction jobs and farm labor all while pay workers less than minimum wages charging top dollar and sending half of the profits back to their home country

I'm a U.S. citizen but I have Autism.
Nobody wants to give me a job do to my disability. BUT I want to work.... if small businesses in the United States actually cared about the people living in their own country they would actually give out jobs to people like myself that want to work. Other than giving out jobs to people not from the United States in the border that they're crying about.
There are more than willing to work with people not from the United States. But not a person like myself with disability. I personally think that you should be more stricter on small businesses hiring them. Maybe then things will change

Americans have been soldout, both the lower class and the upper-middle class and the middle-class got soldout decades ago when they shipped all the manufacturing jobs to China, thanks to Clinton letting China in the WTO.

If there is a worker shortage in Florida its because of 2 hurricanes and a lot of people moving here over the last 4 years. If either of those go away, there will not be a worker shortage.
Enforce the law, at the beginning it will be hard for true hardworking migrants, but at the end it will benefit them and all because that will lead to a legal path way to stay in the USA the right way, as it should have always been.

I don’t understand why they just don’t get them out of Florida? 14th Amendment does not protect illegal immigration and does not provide birthright citizenship to them or any kind of privileges. We’ve been lied to and citizenship has been given out illegally. We need to start reading case laws regarding these topics instead of listening to these politicians, left or right. It is the People’s fault why we live in these current conditions and don’t understand why things are the way they are.
These people will go to any length to violate our laws. It is a very sad fact, and a gross display of entitlement and lawlessness.
DEPORT deport deport, keep these kinds of laws coming. They also fail to mention how once they get injured on the job they go to a hospital run up a bill then disappear leaving the hospitals with massive debts.
When hurricane damage your house and there will be shortage of construction workers and don't even regret because that's what you asked for. Some of you don't have insurance and after that who's gonna fix your house.
