    Been to Lake Lanier many times, a ex-employee lost his father to the lake!

    I stopped about 3 minutes into the vid to check a few things. The local sheriff DOES say that there is a slightly higher rate if fatalities on the lake, but also says there are more people on the lake than the 'average' lake. That being said, he places the 'count' 'right around' 175 to 185. That is a LONG way from 700, which is the number put out by various civic organizations that are trying to get you to come and spend money there.
