Crows have been shown to use tools for a while now. There's a video of wild crows using sticks and even keeping they're favorite sticks for collecting bugs.

Dude, scaled up insect? Tiger Beetle, no question. Scaled up, it's moving at almost 220 mph. Pair that with the horse fly which scaled up would be flying at over 4000 mph, and all you need is a rhinoceros beetle's horn to obliterate anything it hits.

Birds Are very smart. I have parrots and they know when they want to poop on you. They will avoid it if they are so inclined.
I know someone that use to have a blue jay that learned to repeat words. Which seems weird to me since I’ve only heard blue jays make certain sounds in the woods. I’ve never heard them mimic anything else.
Jays are very smart and can learn to talk. Many different birds can other than parrots.

They are referred to as louse/lice by some, but they aren't true louse/lice that are insects. That why it's better to refer to them as Tongue eating isopod, or what i prefer Tongue eating slater.

is it possible to find a Asian hornet in the SE of the US. I'm 100% i saw a extended body hornet @2-3 inches long in Southern TN/Northern AL. I have been here 40 years and never seen any hornet/wasp/dober like it in my entire life. how/who do I contact for research? it was bigger than a danm humming bird
make sure you report it to your local dnr, i believe they've been requesting people to do that when sighted, as for how to report i would assume they have an email on their website. cool find!
