I had a Barbaracle on my team, so I thought I was going to be all set. I figured he might have solar beam, but that takes a turn to charge, and all I needed was one move... Forgot to account for the fact once Charizard Dynamaxed, it wouldn't need to charge
The second I saw the Bag in this game I actually said to myself, "That's not a backpack, that's a god damn suitcase," only for Jared to say it as well like two minutes later. It's more realistic for carrying around all the items you have throughout these games, but this kid is going to get lower back problems lugging that thing around all over the place.

Thing about the Pokemon you encounter in the grass. I believe the Pokemon you see wandering around are different from the ones hidden in the grass. While looking for an certain Pokemon in Route 5, I did not encounter several Pokemon that you can see wandering around at all.

hey so I dont know if youd even bother reading this, but I was thinking about how the d 20 would almost always be slanted towards at least one or two starters since you cant split 20 into completely even thirds. anyway I thought it might be cool is to have rolls of 20 and 1 be in their own category. like maybe if you roll a 20 you can skip the random draft and pick your favourite starter outright, while rolling a 1 would instead render you obligated to pick your least favourite of the starters. I figured that would be fit the gimmick better than just a re-roll or something

idk why in this game the rival takes the one with the type yours can beat, unlike in older pokemon games. i feel like pokemon are trying to reintroduce themselves to the new younger generations bc this game has a lot of tutorials and like hand holding and stuff. but i actually adored hop here even though he was annoying at times but he was such a good friend lol
pokemon money makes a lot more sense when you compare it to yen or cut the last two digits off. a 2000 cost haircut sounds more in line if it's comparable to $20 (2000 yen converts to $18-something)

idk why in this game the rival takes the one with the type yours can beat, unlike in older pokemon games. i feel like pokemon are trying to reintroduce themselves to the new younger generations bc this game has a lot of tutorials and like hand holding and stuff. but i actually adored hop here even though he was annoying at times but he was such a good friend lol

pokemon money makes a lot more sense when you compare it to yen or cut the last two digits off. a 2000 cost haircut sounds more in line if it's comparable to $20 (2000 yen converts to $18-something)
I picked grookey and was bummed out when I saw its final evolution. It looks so dumb! But then I saw the other 2 and was like....okay, not so sad anymore😂
