There's not allot of card shows in London and I don't want to drive to other places or I more on petrol than I am at the card show if you get what I mean
I just enjoy opening the packs to see what I get🥹truly enjoying that, specially with the rare and ultra rare illustrations, or EX cards. Perhaps it’s not the best but I buy from different packs to check out what comes in it. I don’t like to see the content of every set, I love to be surprised✨
I really hope that by November 18th the Crown Zenith Elite trainer box stays £50. I Really love Lucario but I don't have the money for it right now. But I got no hope
I've been buying Pokemon cards for a couple years and didn't really have a goal. Sure spent a lot of money! Now I'm narrowing it down -- think I want to do a National Pokedex collection (just base cards but every Pokemon), a Pikachu collection because I'm basic, and Special Illustration Rares, which will be expensive but they're just so gorgeous.
Hi, I just caught your video. Thank you very much for making this. I have never been into Pokemon when they first came out, or since, never seen the cartoon and I can only name Pikachu or Charizard off the top of my head, but I LOVE watching pack opening videos. I want to experience that... whether it's for the artwork, the gamble or the rare chance of making my money back, even if it's only a few pence. I would maybe like to open a few packs and then I feel I am done and can pass the cards on. I saw a local bookshop had a couple of blue and red tins (forgot what they were called) and WH Smiths had a big box set which only had 6 packs in. AM I just as likely to pull a decent set of cards from those as I am from a specific gaming shop?
hmmmm so something worth a try is car boot sales and popping your head in charity shops as you never know...but best bet is card shows I would say as you get to really see the condition
@@Mattculli I don't want vintage cards (base set, base set 2, jungle, fossil and team rocket) to be fake. I am not sure if it worth buying vintage cards from card shops?
Nice quote at the end there:
"Love it, and if you're not loving it, it's probably not the right hobby for you."
It’s true 😊
its too late ive already started collecting .....!
Haha
nice bit of information, and you don't own evo cards anymore I have my eye on a few cards on there. Nice video

Pokemon center selling booster boxes for £150,you can get it for £100 or less
True however that’s price per pack they charge and atleast it’s a good start point

Cardmarket is the EU equivelent to TCGplayer
Yeah I know a few use this I tend to use tvgplayer myself as I feel it has the bigger database
I might start collecting...because I've heard that there's a lot of money to be made

@mattculli do you have any tips specifically for collecting more vintage Pokémon cards?

It’s a good side yeah but do check eBay solds too for even more accurate detail as they don’t do a played or near mint price this just have them mixed
