Teemu has to do that right now. No one wants to be the guy that has to learn Marty or Chris Poland’s solos note for note.
I think he was to lazzy to preapare the whole hard solo for a song which should never end up in the studio. Moreover his solo is very hard to play too and I am sure that he could do the original solo back in the days, just listen too romanticide, crownless or sacraments of wilderness for example and you will hear that Emppu is verry skilled.

Sometimes when I cover songs if I don't like the original solo I make my own or improvise something, it's something guitarists do, and this solo is not too bad in the end, yes he wrote better stuff but this one is nice too! And by the way Emppu is my favourite guitarist and my biggest inspiration and is obviously very skilled! \m/

The solo in nightquest is very technical and shows his skill
