@@boxicool i think its a case of, UH dps rotation is way harder than frosts but UH can zugzug, frost can just spam 3 buttons, but setting up the win condition with triple blind, dnd, cleaves with your partner/random people in shuffle. is so hard, especially in shuffle. frost dk is honestly insane hard to do well with in shuffle for example but uh slams it

This honestly could be a strength tier list for the majority of players. People don't realize how much difficulty comes into play and focus too much on the highest level of play. It doesn't matter if your class is 10% better at optimal levels if you're playing it at 50% of its potential.

Unholy is much more compex, id say hard. You have diseases and wounds to upkeep, youre gated by runes especially with lower haste values at the start of an expansion, you have pet management like positioning it for kicks and root etc, you have plaguebringer to upkeep, deathrot stacks to upkeep etc. you then also have dark sim as a pvp talent now as strang wont be taken as much which is a unique ability and p high skillcap, youre very squishy vs melee etc
Funny thing is after playing a lot of beta Devoker ended up being the easiest thing ever in pvp then as Supa said then Fury Frost then BM in that order
Ele skill floor is low but skill cap is high, and that’s why outside of silly prepatch nonsense, it had some of the lowest rep at the top of the ladder. You could play fire, boomy, spriest, dev and get better results and had more t1 comps. All these FOTM ele that are playing arena nonstop now couldn’t break 2100 in the normal season.
I play ret and feral and personally ret is harder for me. I think as the dps of feral is harder, but ret has so much utility and team abilities and so many macros. You need more awareness imo on ret than any other melee because you’re very focused on your own team.
Supa, how can destro/demo be easier to play than frost mage? all frost is doing on beta is spamming instant flurries and icelance doing millions of damage. That paired with destro/demos being turret specs and having to fake cast all the time/deal with groundings etc, + being squishier now in general after the nerfs to soul /demon skin , it's definitely harder than frost mage i'd say.

Aug is pretty challenging... gotta work with your team to know when to use EM, when to put Def on your teammates, off heal, also line up bursts during EM windows. More to it than just popping cds and doing damage... especially after the nerfs. I'm still gonna play it though
As warlock/shadow priest main with DK and shaman alt. Ele is easy to learn, but so hard to master in battle. Shadow is super easy for me, just dot and do single targer with skill prio - plague always up-plague if overcap insanity-sw:death if execute range-voidbolt if in voidform-mindblast-mindflay/spike. Dont know why is always hard...
The utility is what makes a shadow priest difficult. How often do you dispel key magic effects on your teammates? How often are you offensively dispelling key buffs on enemies? Life swaps to save the game? Mind control to win/save the game? Shadow word: death to avoid CC? Using psychic horror or silence peel for teammates, etc It has the offensive mastery of every dps with the added role of being an offhealer/support

I've played most specs at 1800-2400, for some reason the one spec I couldn't get my head around was survival hunter, kept getting destroyed then gave up and went back to mm which I find easy af lol. I will say though my 2nd most played spec would be arcane mage. Currently got it sitting on 2400 in solo and 2200 in 2s. I agree its a harder spec to learn but I don't think its as hard as people make it out to be. There is a lot to think about but your damage rotaion is literally 3-4 buttons
I main Fistweaver. I dropped Casterweaver at the start of DL and never looked back. That said.... there are a lot of bad Fistweavers out there. A lot. Casterweaver is the easier spec to play, especially for newbies.
How is resto shaman super hard? It's the healer that was second easiest for me to learn as a casual next to Disc for that matter. Resto druid i can't seem to do beyond average with.
I’m trying to decide between fury/arms, deva, MM Hunter, holy pri/pal, frost, affli, destro, arcane. Maybe ele. Nothing else. I’ve been a lock (specifically affli) main forever, am a 3s glad skill wise, (but didn’t really enjoy lock in dragonflight.) I have healed before but nothing serious. What do you reccomend?
Watch gameplay and maybe guides on each of the classes you're interested in. Maybe shoot for class fantasy or try out multiple till you find what is most fun. These should help you decide
makes no sense... an easy class is something like BM. A class which is playable for people with bad hands, concentration issues, lack of experience in general, children. Resto druid for example is not a class like this.
Because of magic school : dps and sheep are on the same. You have only one block with no cauterisation. And finally, you need to cast to really dps not like frost (ice lance) and fire.
This is helpful for me. Do you mind doing a tier list for PvE as well, because when I’m not in battlegrounds I plan on doing some mythics. And I value your opinion. Thank you
Putting ele on super EZ is a huge miss for me. Its super EZ to be mid. But to be a gladiator? Kicks, purges, grounds, tremors, hexes, statics, stuns.. a lot of responsibility / utility that needs to be used right (perhaps most)
It’s very beneficial for people to realize that big number tuning doesn’t lead to an easy time always. Mage is such a good example of this. The mage played by a top tier player is absolutely insane, but you put a new player on a mage and they are stomped. I know back in the day we would always talk about skill floor and skill ceiling, and I wish more content creators addressed that.
What I don't understand is why people are always struggling to pick mains. Are you guys changing mains every season or what ? Is it due to meta chasing ?

Classes that have a permanent pet, therefore require proper pet management while playing your actual character are at least medium if not hard... no clue how something like hunter can be put into super ez... doesn't make sense, hunter is super unforgiving. Also mixing healer and dps classes, two pair of shoes, would always seperate them since it's always harder to heal since you have to track your team abilities and shit. For DPS classes: EZ: melees that have few cc abilities with a higher cd (35sec - 1min stuns etc.) and do not require you to interact with teammates a lot -> Warrior, DK, DH, Monk KINDA EZ: melees that require you to interact with your team: RET, ENH, FERAL, BM-Hunter (easiest hunter spec but pet management) MIDDLE: RANGES without pet that are getting focused a lot: MAGES, SHADOW, ELE, BOOMIE, EVOKER + Hunter (MM+SV) simply because they have a pet to manage and are not forgiving HARDEST: WARLOCK straight up! they have a pet, get almost always focused and have to cast Another LEVEL: ROGUE, hard to play, requires you to be the conducter -> you are dictating the game, if you can't you wont be good at the class (Sub is way harder than Assa or Outlaw)

Tell me you have never played a healer without telling me. Frost DK Face roll on keyboard do damage during pillar. Healer ,watch your entire teams health,assist with CC and damage,remove Dr buffs,poisons etc. Effectively manage mana between doing all of that and keep moving well so you aren't a sitting duck. Frost DK...sit and hope your healer is good. Continue face roll.
I thought all classes are easy until I realized I was taking the sheer ridiculous amount of time I’ve spent playing this game for granted. This video is for newer players. WoW PvP isn’t easy. Between talents, CD’s, abilities, passives, CC, DR, damage rotations, positioning, WoW PvP is much more complex that we PvP veterans realize and take for granted.
Completely disagree on the unholy and frost. Way harder to get value out of frost in arena and just damage. Also with these new changes unholy is far easier

Bias again... Talking about button bloat, but than call ret easy :p. You need to watch your build ups on stacks on ret to do real damage. You have multiple buttons which are in certain situation valid, which also makes you have more button bloat. Calling boomkin more difficult than ret is a joke. I play both and I started my boomkin last 2 expansions and mostly play it end of a season and I do way better with druid than my ret paladin every season. I just started Elemental shaman after like 10 years and its way easier than my ret paladin aswell in pvp.

Completely disagree on the unholy and frost. Way harder to get value out of frost in arena and just damage. Also with these new changes unholy is far easier

U suck hardcore if u think otherwise, then the game is not for u, too difficult for your skills fif u dont find Ret super easy. He plays most classes above 2400, i bet u never went past 1800. so dont act like someone who knows stuff, ur just bad af

You need to watch your build ups on stacks on ret to do real damage. You have multiple buttons which are in certain situation valid, which also makes you have more button bloat. Calling boomkin more difficult than ret is a joke. I play both and I started my boomkin last 2 expansions and mostly play it end of a season and I do way better with druid than my ret paladin every season. I just started Elemental shaman after like 10 years and its way easier than my ret paladin aswell in pvp.
Ret is in top 5 easiest speccs in the game, accept it or not, it is what it is.
Ret is absolutely easy
