You can also use some math to disprove Dream's statement "This File has been uploaded 10 minutes after the stream" in one of his twitter post. The chance of winning a big lottery is 7 times smaller than being struck with a lightning, yet there are people that won this lottery. Small chance means its a small chance not impossibility
@@sufit__7598 The chances of being struck by lightning are 1 in 500,000 within a year. If you times that by 7, it ends up being 1 in 3.5 million. And thats the chances within only a year. Not to mention that there’s probably way more people out there trying to win the lottery than speed run Minecraft. You have to consider the amount of times on average that a person attempts the lottery and the sheer amount of people that attempt it. Once you consider those factors, it’s not that surprising that one lucky fella can win the lottery and get millions to billions of dollars. But I don’t think it’s the same case here, this is Minecraft, and although is a very popular game, most players don’t bother to speed run the game, and even if they did, they would usually give up and can’t maintain persistence in it, unless they got addicted. Lotteries on the other hand, are more addicting than video games, which is probably why kids are restricted from attempting the lottery. As for lightning, everyone is involved in that probability unless you are in outer space. Bare in mind, I’m not a math expert at all, I suck at math, but I don’t think your comparison is fair to this situation, it’s two completely different playing fields with an entirely different demographic.

They see this an opportunity to grow for their channel. Not just that, i can also see why he felt that the investigation was biased. He was the biggest guy here in the server. And thats why he become the first attention on everything that he did. People will try to dig up even more to prove that he was wrong or cheated on every single video that he made. But no one cares if other speedrunners are cheating or so. That was simply cuz they are just a basic minecraft player. They arent as big as Dream. And that makes Dream as an easier target to be criticized
If you were to pick three random people on the entire earth, there’s a better chance that two of them will die because of a vending machine than getting dream’s luck.

Dream stans just want a reason to hate others. It’s their toxicity trait. Speaking of which let’s talk more about why dream stans are ‘supportive’, ‘creative’ and mostly ‘not’ toxic.
So in billions of times there is one possibility of this happened. That happened with dream. You just don't like him, thats why you are saying that WHY CAN THIS HAPPEN WITH DREAM BUT NOT OTHER PLAYERS. So if it happened that was the chance in Billions, THERE WAS ALWAYS AN POSSIBILITY OF IT HAPPENING AND IT HAPPENED SO DON'T QUESTION IT. getting mathematically exposed must be the most unfortunate thing dream has dealt with huh (Edit) I already watched the dream response vid. its alright ig.
It's wrong though it's not like he had a 7.5trillion chance of getting a speed run that good, he had that chance of getting HIS EXACT speed run, this is like saying the chance of a parrot having its specific colour is 10000000000000:1 anything can be applied to this probability
@@bubbas.0 He genuinely responded to it. First, he said that he had no reason to cheat, he was going to stop speedrunning 1.16 once he got a PB of 25 minutes, and he passed that. The run was only 17th place, and he had no intention of climbing. There was no reason to cheat. Next, the person who made the claim only looked at runs AFTER the first run to have the crazy odds, and didn't count offline runs. The sample size was skewed, and while the odds are still crazy high, they are not as crazy high as the claim says they are. I still don't know what my view on this, I will stay neutral in the cheat or not cheat thing for now.
if dream can make us believe that "according to youtube statistics, most people who watch my videos are not subscribed", then he should believe and admit that according to probabilistic statistics, he did in fact increase his pearl and blaze drop odds
10 million, because you have a 700,000 chance of being struck by lightning a year, 1/7.5 trillion was the odds of his run, 7.5 trillion / 700,000 (times getting hit by lightning equal to chance of run) = 10 million times being smited by lightning. LUL
@@fungling7982 In reality it's much much more because the probability of him getting that many times decreases also because of how many lightning bolts can strike in that specific place in a year, along with the probability of multiple lightning storms forming which would need to occur for him to get struck this much, and the probability that he is in an unsafe location at the time of being struck...

Fun fact: this is still 6x rarer than randomly picking the sun out of all the stars in the Milky Way AND Andromeda Galaxy, which both have about 1.25 trillion stars
@Bub Gunther Robertson that is not true, the maths for it dont work like that. what you did was you divided 7.5 trillion by 2, got 3.75 trillion, and assumed that would be the answer. to calculate it, we would do something like this: 1/2 x 1/2 is 1/4, then we would multiply it again by 1/2 and get 1/8, again 1/16, again 1/32 , 1/64 and so on, after just 6 coin flips it would be a 1.56% chance of 6 heads. To get the same result 100 times in a row, for 20, we get 2million and so on . I think its about 43 heads in a row to get dreams luck, but not entirely sure

@CT-2307 *Ok, I actually had enough of this*

Especially comparing his luck to other runners of the same category was quite interesting and eye opening. These types of video analysis on speedruns are super cool to watch and knowing the rng behind just some factors is crazy.Good work.

Now, Geosquare, please monetize this video. You deserve it after all of the negativity thrown towards you for just doing your best for the the integrity of Minecraft Speedrunning.

When I saw Dream’s tweet, I thought this was gonna be more dramatic and clickbaity, but this is actually really well-made and valid lmao.
yep
Because Dream can do nothing but flail around and try to get his fans to harass these guys. He thought he wasn't gonna get caught and got caught
@@raevemaeve4323 That’s a bit harsh but yeah, he shouldn’t have sent hate to Geosquare with a platform of 14 million people. I enjoy Dream’s content, but I cant really side with him here :/
If he was truly innocent, he wouldn’t go out harassing the mods doing the investigation.
This is like the least clickbait video ever, the thumbnail and title are literally perfectly representative of the content
