Man these videos are awesome why is this not a more popular channel
It’s amazing. As well as the clubs I attend and my coaches Joe has been my teacher
Maybe straight to the point without comedy? My favorite kickboxing channel so far.
Kickboxing in not very popular in Usa in canada i guess
I would absolutely LOVE the chance to meet you, Joe. I’d consider myself even luckier to train with ya! 🙏✊
Man those kicks makes me jealous.
Respect joseph
These are gold 👏🙏✊
Thank you Joe
I love and I learn a lot from these videos from you Bazooka Joe, thanks for sharing your skills and techniques.
Wish I had the fluidity to the attacks the way you have. Top stuff again!
Thank you sir!
Thanks Coach
Such good information.
Great video!!
Any chance you will be making a video on doing multiple roundhouse kicks with a single leg? I see a lot of Thai fighters training this but not a lot of step by step videos on how to achieve this.
Great vid!
Can you make a video on the mechanics of the Thai round kick? hard to transition from Karate style round house.
Don’t chamber the leg. Use the whole leg as a club.
reason #1 to not be a pro fighter: you'll be fighting guys like this who are intelligent AND built like a tank. no thx.
Joe IS built like a brick shithouse for sure!
Should the toes be flexed when you kick or relaxed?
relaxed when throwing flex on impact, increases speed
I find that throwing kicks in a shadow boxing routing is the hardest for me. I always feel it stretches me uncomfortably and it feels 'forced' when kicking above 'mid-level' and strains my knee. Any technique improvements you'd suggest for these particular issues?
By the time you shadow box you should be properly warmed up, hips, legs etc.. And try to be loose and have easy flow. Don't throw with power. Maybe it helps.
I was only able to fully control my kicks in shadowboxing after years of practice. I think practicing certain kicks a lot will also increase hip strength and mobility.
I think you most likely need to a) more on your hip mobility in general, by stretching both dynamic and static and b) make sure you're warmed up. I like to start with low kicks, then body kicks then lastly practice my high kicks for my warm up
Tomorrow's training
My dream is to be trained by you man ! Ig orthodox_samurai
