To reset your username simply change the “display name” back to you original username.

They won't delete ur account, only you can see it. And if you join a server it doesn't do anything. Mojang can't see it. If you download minecraft onto another computer, it doesn't change.

It only works in singleplayer, not on servers, so others will never see it. If you want to log into a server, just change it back to normal.
