Likewise, the 3D equivalent is called a nonahexacontahedron.
It sounds a little weird, but hexenon looks more like he-xenon, as in the elements Helium and Xenon. Makes sense too seeing as this comes from the GAS city rework.

Not only Redeemer removes this buff from rotation, but Kitgun with Pax Charge as well.

This is exactly how I farm torroids.
I like to do it solo, that way I remember where the torroids fell.
I also like to let smeeta buff decay to like 20 seconds remaining, and give it the chance to double buff it and just run around picking up all the torroids I remember.
Did not know about the taking off weapons thing.
But my top tip would be to put charm as the first mod in the first slot (top left corner) because legend says the first mod always gets priority..
Most I got in about an hour was 124 calda torroids..
That Ropalolyst is really effective at killing
Some of the new Corpus units on Jupiter use a flamethrower so I'd stock up on like 500 more in case we get that soon 👀

For the endurance it says I need 4000.

Idk why this doesnt work too well for me. When i do the hostile mergers endurance i just do 1 key and just sit in a corner with my team and kill everything. I usually end up drowning in hexenon

Ran Elara for 30 mins with Nekros and got 70 hexenon
Yeah a gamemode where I can Speed up by inserting 4 keys at a time but maximum 2 are dropping.This update is one of the most not working as advertised.If I would work like that I would´ve been fired several times.Why didn´t they delayed this about a week but then it possibly would been working.

I've done a couple hexanon farms and yeah, nothing within even half of what potato is suggesting in this video.
i farmed all the hexenon that i needed wo boosters on that ds surv, 130-250 per 20mins, pub ofc, farming it solo is just dumb

considering that the last months every time i go to a relay or Cetus or Fortuna i see 69 room open, i say it is about right.

When this video was uploaded I started farming Hexenon and got about 300 per 10 min. After this recent hotfix i get about 50 per 10 min. #DEnerf

I think they stealth nerfed hexenon drops in the latest patch, I did a 30 minute survival with 2 Nekros and barely got 100
Did 6 runs today at 20min each, got around 300. Thanks DE -_-

Using Extractor on Jupiter can give you Hexenon. I got about 47 last night.
It also drops from crates and boxes, so make sure to smash / open everything, maybe put Scavenge on your Kavat.
I was doing exterminate runs hunting for new Captura scenes, opening every locker, I would get about 120 hexenon per run, most of that would be from crates.
Lexandritte I just deploy extractors when I’m doing other stuff , I get about 46 with the Titan , it’s pretty okay when you think about it

Hey Potato, how about a video about Peaceful Provocation Equinox, with the Pax bolt arcane you can run it at 170% power str. With the new Amalgam Javlok mod you can run a condition overload sword and shield with it. The Javlok can then be used to self damage to boost the Provocation percentage early on!

Javloks can't do self dmg anymore. Also Saryn works way better with the amalgam javlok mod.
He has boosters possibly both resource chance and double resource. And assuming he did the farm with friends who might have resource chance as well. Which stacks a bit. So more loot. Don't expect same result if you have no boosters.

Somewhat clickbait title: he's stacking Resource Drop Chance Booster with Resource Booster. That will obvious make "Thousands of Hexenon Easy". Without the boosters, your mileage will definitely vary.

Hydroid and Nekros do still work. I did it with a friend and it worked fine. Also, theres no need to run through the level to find a choke.
Simply reload the mission until you get the spawn tile that begins outdoor and has the 2 long corridors on either side. Camp in those corridors and lure enemies into the tentacles. Done. Much easier than scouring a map

Hexanon is also the name of a classic photographic lens from the 70's.
Also, "nona" is the prefix form of "nine" (like "hexa" is "six) but "non" on the end like that...I don't think that's the same thing.
Actually, Hexenon would be Hex (for 6) and Xenon (a noble gas). Thus, Hexenon would be an impossible compound in real life since noble gases usually don't covalently bond.

Yeah.... bringing a farm frame brought me from 30 to 60 hexanon per 20min run. I need roughly 1500 for wisp. This has to be a joke after farming those blueprints right? Wtf DE? I know you want us to buy plat.... but this is a fuckin joke.
Guys if you are still struggling with hexenon, me and some friends did a 1 hour fissure survival and with just a resource booster no dc booster and a nekros i got 2k in 1 hour

I was the one without any boosters and only Redeemer + Smeeta Cavat and I got 714 Hexanon in 30 minutes. FeelsHexanonMan.
Just to clarify, if you want to things go smoothly bring a Speed Nova with you, like we did in this video.

I did one mission a few days ago, (I already got all the hexenon I need) and I had played 6 rounds of disruption. We had gotten 345 hexenon without a booster.
I was running the extermination mission to passively farm it and explore the new tileset. With resource booster I averaged around 100 hexanon per run. Not optimal, but it was relaxing. Also ran a survival and was disappointed in the amount of it I got based on the time I spent.
I need 650 hexanon for wisp and I get about 40 per 30 min run. I'm in pain.

tactical nerf to loot drop count incoming
Ive been getting roughly 10 hexenon per min in any mission (Disruption, survival etc), in squads of 4 including a desecrate nekros, a smeeta kavat, AND a resource booster). So basically best case scenario is that you have to AT LEAST farm this abomination of a resource for 210 mins (3.5 hours).
This fucking "Oxium 2.0"-resource is a joke - Exactly like Oxium. I wish DE would rework these cancer resoures to be more like salvage and others. I HATE resources that only drop from specific mobs with a passion, which is pretty much the case now with Hexenon only dropping from Amalgams.
Year later and I'm just trying to get Wisp. It almost doesn't feel worth it as a new player. Only getting 30-40 Hexanon for a 25 minute round, when I need like 1200. Doesn't even cover the fucking smattering plethora of Hexanon I need for the other guns I need to rank up. Ridiculous.

Make a Equilibrium Desecrate Nekros, play in pubs and buy boosters from Baro when he comes, you'll be all the better for it, aforementioned smeeta kavat is good as well.
Worth mentioning you only need a total of 2100 right now, so not a big deal 😅

Disruption upside is that... you can do the same thing you do in a survival but without having to check for Vital Support (even when with a farming frame you will get plenty)

Can anyone confirm/deny having you gun equipped removes the reload buff on smeeta?
cant confirm, but i have had the suspicion that the buff still procs, but just disappears right away if u dont have guns equipped
wiki: Reload buff will not trigger if no primary or secondary weapons are equipped.
I tried it and I also believe it procs but doesn’t apply. Hoping for confirmation either way though
With nekros, I did a 35 minute survival on public and got 194 hexenon, thats pretty low

I just did a 20 minute run on Cameria (the dark sector survival on jupiter) WITH nekros with desecrate on and WITH a resource booster, and at the end of the 20min i had 60 hexenon. And you need 1200 just to build wisp. WTF DE, i do not want to run this for 400 minutes just to get the new resource to build a frame, and imagine how long it will take when my booster runs out (from login reward)
One other thing you can do without any effort whatsoever -- Hexenon is now available via the Distilling extractors if you place one on Jupiter... I got about 200 or so this week -- not as much as actually running the missions, but it's something anyway for lazy folks like me who don't have loads of time to spend farming that stuff.
I wish I could sell nanospores and polymer bundles... I have over 2 million of each from my extractors, so I'm always disappointed when I get like 20 from the daily login.
Tried Nekros on Disruption and his ability kept shutting off, it's only on this stupid mode, so there's no other way than to play 30min, get around 450ish hex and then repeat, especially when lvl 100 amalgam dipshits start spawning that immediately adapt to all the damage so you have no choice but run, hence why camping like you did didn't work, I wanted it to work but dying was just inevitable
I made the mistake of running Elara without a looter class and while solo with no boosters of any kind. Spent just over 50 minutes and got 87 Hexenon to show for it.
got 1 double resource smeeta charm proc in 30 minutes, and there was only 1 hexanon drop. smh

Maybe I'm weird, but I seem to be amassing hexenon faster running Io for some reason. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm getting a good bit from Cameria, but it takes at least a 30 min run, which just gets boring running solo and destroying everything with Hildryn, but it works I guess. Also, I'm just running a resource booster and I'm getting what I need, but nowhere near what u were getting. Does that smeeta kavat buff make that big of a difference?

Why would DE get rid off those abilities stacking with one another? If I'm sacrificing by not bringing warframes to make the mission easier, in favour of ones to help me farm, then what's the problem with that?

I'm at that stage in warframe where I want to start getting into zaws and such, but I just can't give enough of a fuck to waste that much time harvesting those stupid resources.
Same with hexenon in a lot of ways.
Such bad luck, ran six 20min runs with Nekros / Khora today and got a total of 300 Hexenon.....
is it not worth farming resources in disruption? Never tried, and have no friends to try it but I thought if you could grab resource buff you can then could ignore the rest of the objectives and farm like you would in survival but with extra resource buffs or is this not worth the effort to do it like that?
