Honestly hats off to DE. No game company goes out of their way to do this much for it's community. And they do so well with their features that other companies copy their work. Can't see myself ever dropping this game.

I think its been atleast 4 devshorts ago, in one of the devshorts right after Tennocon.
The nerf on the cloud walker its because in asia a super broken heavy slam spam with wukong ( arca titron, magistar incarnon ) was flooding all the missions, you can't be damaged and can spam tons of AOE
On a note about Cloud Walker - Currently you can exit CW with a melee 'Heavy Slam', and then recast CW to cancel the end-lag of the heavy slam, meaning you can get very fast b2b2b2b Heavy Slams - what seems to be getting removed, or in this case added, is a delay between the heavy slam animation, and recasting CW. CW should still be optimal as a traversal tool, and you should be able to cast it b2b with no delay, as long as you don't cancel out of it with a melee heavy attack Or at least, thats my understanding (and hope as a Wukong main) of whats being changed
It’s how I understood it as well, I think it’s mostly to prevent magistar wukong spamming which could get you to damage cap at almost every heavy slam, which were 1 second delay from each other, maybe even less. It’s going to suck for those who uses this build but tbh I also expected it to have a nerf at some point. So they’re just letting the heavy slam animation play out instead of being canceled, which if you look at magistar’s slam animation, will definitely leave you in the open for a while.
That umbrella weapon made me think of the weapon in Splatoon 😅. Looks better in Warframe and I can't wait for the new things to come, a good time to get back into Warframe.
I love how I (and probably others too) had a similar concept to this new frame thought up already. I had a frame conceptualized that used tarot cards for rng effects, but NGL, dice are just as sick. Not to mention the decrees involved are technically cards on their own.
This is such a perfect new frame. I recently did a fashion frame theme from mirage. That might walk just as good for this girl. I did a theme off of kandy land Suzy And this girl could definitely look a bit mechanical. So I can't wait to get my hands on her.
So... When they said "every" status in the game... Does that include things like Microwave, Impair, Bigger Stagger, etc? Because if it does, Koumei might be busting some builds wide open, ESPECIALLY if her 1 is the Helminth.
This Wukong change was completely misinterpreted. This ONLY affects heavy attack slamming. Not spamming cloud waller unless DE horrifically mistranslated a dev's code. If you heavy slam attack from cloud walker, then you have to wait for the animation to finish. Thats it. Its not bad at ALL. Just run amalgam organ shatter and your heavy slam spam build survive just fine.
You did get a tiny bit on Caliban’s summons left out. The distraction bois are now the only ones that regen your Shields. So you plop down a Summalist and it spawns in up to six of the little ones, these give you and your allies constant shield regen when you aren’t taking damage as well as having Decoy levels of Aggro. It’s your survival cast where the cannon bois are your status spreaders and your bonk bois are your damage dealers that copy Fusion Strike.
The fact I learned about this to day the update comes out. I can’t play Warframe right now and that upsets me a lot since I want to do it because there’s probably a quest behind it too which means I have not beaten the game yet and I just beat the game I finally have steel path and I can’t even do it. Also I really need some help with steel path. Could you make like a chroma for it because I main chroma

The change to smeeta’s make them feel less unique imo. And tbh the problem with sniper rifles in Warframe isn’t so much the rifles themselves, but rather that no normal missions cater to that playstyle. They’re all far too claustrophobic for the range to be of much use. Even in missions with large rooms, most of the long sightlines are obstructed. They’re only really useable in the open world zones and even that’s pretty limited based on what objectives you get during bounties. Maybe these issues will be addressed a bit in 1999, but that won’t fix the rest of the game.
Why do volt, wisp and nova get all the skins? The last nyx skin release was over 3 years ago. Oberon Still only has 4 skins next to the base, prime and immortal skin. They should look which characters really could need a skin and not allways give it to the same 5 frames.
I see where you come from but I think they just gotta think economically and give love to the Frames that are being played more. For Nyx though, we will see the Protoframe SDkin soon and she looks absolutely amazing :D
You have to consider: Frames like Nys and Oberon barely see any play, but Volt, Wisp and Nova are generally loved. So it makes naturally more sense for them to release skins for characters people like because let's be real here.... Even if Oberon would get a banger skin, people would still not like his gameplay :D
Deluxes are made for two reasons: 1. The warframe is popular so its deluxes are stable earnings. 2. Monetize a rework and thus justify the expense to the suits.
I don't think it was the rng that they disliked, but rather the ability to stack the charm multiple times to get 4x, 8x or even 16x if you're lucky (even more with boosters) thus getting a ton of everything. Now it seems no more stacking for us

They made the change for 2 reasons (1) make Smeeta less mandatory for resource farming (2) make you not have to wait on the buff in a fast-paced shooter.
I could imagine Harmony working really well on her, considering that Condensing all status into 1 big swipe. May even be worth switching Primed Pressure point for Condition overload then too

Komei is absolutely going to get nerfed immediately upon release, probably right after people that buy Komei with plat have time to play it for a few days. Getting extremely long duration invulnerability and Duviri decrees in normal missions is pretty game breaking from a balance perspective. They're nerfing frames in the same update for far more minor reasons than being able to do things like having a 3% chance to apply every status effect to an enemy, so 4 minutes of invulnerability or whatever Komei can get stands no chance of staying in the game.
Just no, rev can use it no cool down and give it to teammates with augment and recast at will. Koumei at least has to roll three 6's so it makes no sense to nerf her for that

Komei is absolutely going to get nerfed immediately upon release, probably right after people that buy Komei with plat have time to play it for a few days. Getting extremely long duration invulnerability and Duviri decrees in normal missions is pretty game breaking from a balance perspective. They're nerfing frames in the same update for far more minor reasons than being able to do things like having a 3% chance to apply every status effect to an enemy, so 4 minutes of invulnerability or whatever Komei can get stands no chance of staying in the game.

Just no, rev can use it no cool down and give it to teammates with augment and recast at will. Koumei at least has to roll three 6's so it makes no sense to nerf her for that

2:44 They will definitely not use her fourth for helminth. I would guess her second (decree) ability would be helminth, if not that likely her third (survivability) ability. Both would remove the dice roll and never give triple 6.

What are you thinking for helminth? Without being able to try Koumei out, i was thinking nourish mainly. Alternatively, dispensary or the usual abilities (roar, etc).

As someone who only really used caliban when I was leveling him for the helminth, I’ll have to make a new one and see how he plays. Will be handy for EDA too
