    The kid does promise a lot, I wish him the best in his basketball career.
    It’s worth mentioning his skills trainer is Danny Santiago a former 7 footer Basketball Olympian (twice), that represented the PR National Team and played in the European League.
    I’m sure his experience should give the gigantic and promising young man multiple valuable coaching lessons.

    This is going to be like finding the next Jordan. Everyone who had a 44+ vert was a major prospect. Just scouting super tall guys won’t find you the next Wemby any more than the high jumpers became the next Jordan.

    If he can have a Shawn Bradley type career, that's a win. Shawn was a solid player that got drafted too high. He doesn't have the mobility and coordination that Wemby has, so his value will be as a space occupier, rebounder, and shot blocker.

With a proper coach training and dedication, this young athlete may be able to match or even exceed Yao Ming's skill level.

    His problem is he plays like a Tall person . My advice is to do circuit training and learn how to play like a 6.3 player because he is so tall he is not making a effort to jump and lazy. If he doesn’t jump high and move fast and with training it’s because he’s not hungry enough and I will not hire him to play for my team. Bolt broke the World Record for 100 meters and he is tall and the reason is because he was Determined and focused and trained very hard to Achieve his Dreams.     A real nice kid, but not mentally crazy about playing basketball, and that could hinder him.....the big men out there are fast and strong, even young Wemby that is thin is real strong...he needs to work hard at getting in shape and especially is wind running up and down the floor....that's why, if he mentally isn't hooked on basketball it will be twice as hard for him....and also confidence in himself has got to set in so he can fight and accumulate agility and quickness....which is very hard at that heigth....wishing him all the best of luck...

I wonder if moving around alot is the key to not feeling the same pain as other tall people with the pituitary gland end up in wheelchairs, canes, walkers? Are these tall people our future? My family uncle who's the tallest said he ate pb sandwiches, so my little moose brother would eat that every day because he assumed he'd be tall too? I was like yeah ok 😵‍💫 he joined the army?     He needs to extend his arms up high! He needs shoulder drill. He needs distant hook shots. He needs turn around jumpers. He needs lateral movements or sideward movements. He needs to bump a lot.     He is not an NBA prospect. He is unathletic and will get exposed in the league. I have watched him play. His movement is just not very good.

      There will always be key moments in crunch time where you might want a guy like that in the paint on defense, or to line up to rebound a missed FT. He can sit at the end of the bench the rest of the game and still be useful to the team.
