Thank you. After 2 years of LOVING your channel I'm in college now with great hair. Im almost to bra strap, I buy oils. I learned so much from your Channel from Covid to now. And I do look up to a Christian black female Chemist with a blessed hobby.❤️ I wanna be like you when I grow up
Hello, Tanya!!! My hair really loves when I switch between TGIN Honey Miracle Mask and SheaMoisture Intensive Conditioner. I always DC every 7 days with heat on wash day. But, I go with the Anthony Dickey method in between wash days (every 2-3 days). On AD days I do not Deep Condition. This schedule of drenching with water followed by conditioner wash & rinse then leave-in has worked so well that I no longer need a curl gel at all in between wash days. (I do wash-n-go’s). I use a curl gel on wash days because I put my hair thru the full routine, ie hydrating shampoo, protein treatment and DC w/heat then leave-in before styling product(s). Though my strands are healthy and hydrated on wash day, they need some curl support after all that! 😉
I’m a 4C, low porosity, straight natural that uses pillow rollers on most days. My hair loves the TGIN Rosewater line! It’s a struggle to keep my hair straight and moisturized but I put the Rosewater leave-in on the very ends of my hair before I roll it up and this works well for me. I also oil once a week.
I love oils for my high-porosity hair especially, olive, jojoba, or avocado oil!! And whenever I run out of deep conditioner, I add 1tbsp to my regular conditioner and it works just as well!! ❤
I go back and forth between Mizani Moisturefuse and Joico K-Pak Deep Conditioner for protein and Design Essentials Avocado and the Keracare Humecto for just moisture. I add sweet almond oil and jojoba with rosemary and peppermint oils to all DCs.
My hair is loving Mielle's Babassu and mint deep conditioner, i mix it with 1 tbsp of amla oil , and sit under a heat cap for about 15-20 min... hair feels amazing.
Hey Tonya! Loved the video and I love the pictures of the molecules you insert and how you’re so detailed! So grateful to have you to watch, the information you give out is worth more than gold! As of right now my favorite conditioner is Aussie moiste per your recommendation! And again that you for the info, I had bought some sweet olive oil and didn’t know what to use it for! Now I know! Also I love using acv in my hair again per your recommendation! Always taking care of us! Thanks again.
ACV is a game changer. Running warm water on fast flow in the shower over hair makes it easier to detangle with wide tooth comb or detangling brush. Thanks for sharing 🙂 (1 Cor 11:15)
I just did a quick look-up, for the difference between silica and silicones, the latter of which I had read warnings about using on ethnic hair types. I'm sure that I learned the difference between the two, in school, many years ago, however, my concentration was not science, and I remembered there was a difference, just not what it was. Thanks, once again, for sharing such thorough information; I'm even more happy, that all of your recommendations are vegan-safe.
Can I add rhassoul clay olive oil and acv together with my deep conditioner or just one? Everyone and y'all's family always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
My hair is loving Silk Elements Advanced Repair treatment because it has everything that stimulates the scalp for growth and to stop inflamation and treat alopecia. Also Queen Helene's Cholesterol it has completely erased a dry damaged area I've been trying to treat for a while. Of course I add oils.
2 methods. Either Nexus Humectress, keraphix and teaspoon of olive oil or tonka oil. My other is Silk2 photofoam and moictec. Followed with their leave in conditioner
I've had rhassoul cly for years, but don't use it regularly at all. I saw another vidoe yesterday suggesting its use. I will try it next wash day as you suggested. I thunk it's a lot by itself
Would you recommend adding all these ingredients straight to my deep conditioner container to reuse, or separate 1 cup & mix them in each time I use it?
Trying to get a better look of your hairstyle. I have something similar in mind for crochet braids. I dont like wigs/weaves. Please, share details. Thanks
In most cases, both are the same. I would follow the instructions on the label on how to apply, and the details regarding the extra add-ins mentioned in this video are highlighted in the video. :-)
I got diagnosed with alopecia Areata this year LOL. I say it like this because In 2018 I had a dermatologist tell me I was pulling out my hair. How can I grow my hair through my alopecia?
I have a question... Depending on the oil used, when putting oil on the hair and not on the scalp, does the oil absorb up in the hair strands and (in)to the scalp?
If i may suggest. I know your videos are primarily informational and i know are practicing what you preach. My suggestion, when you mix your conditioner or incorporate rhassoul clay, for example. Can you show this as a tutorial? Also, some people are visual learners and would benefit if they can actually see what you're talking about. Plus it would take your videos to the next level. Thanks for reading, keep up the great work!
Hello Tonya. I have some of the Aztez Bentonite Clay, can i add that to my DC until I get the Rhassoul? Also can I mix a clay wash with my DC? If yes how much please.

I feel like dc don’t work for me. After shampooing my hair I use conditioner to detangle my hair and it’s soooooo soft. But then when I apply a dc after, it just don’t do nothing, like softness ? gone
Yes, the results vary per person. I would consult with your dermatologist to see how likely that method will work for you based on your condition and also based on their experience with delivering those injections.
Thank you for the informative video. Wash day is today and i have plenty of Rhassoul clay so will be giving this a try. Also, my favorite deep conditioners at the moment is anything from Soultanicals (Glide and Go Deep Fenugreek and Hibiscus Hair Healer are the main go tos) and Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative hair mask🫶🏽

Hi, how would you store the extra conditioner since I would not put the whole cup on my hair
Thanks for the video. Very educational, like always.
Quick question: can I add ACV to my leave in conditioner?
I think you have to rinse it bc otherwise you have the ACV smell in your hair...
@michelleyoga87 That's right. Thank you.
ACV with the mother or regular ACV?
Canwe use fuller' earth as an alternative to rhassoul clay . We use it in asia a lot for skin
I have a baldy. Should I still DC?
Can we use orange juice as an alternative to ACV as it has the same acid and ph
I have a question...
Depending on the oil used, when putting oil on the hair and not on the scalp, does the oil absorb up in the hair strands and (in)to the scalp?
If i may suggest. I know your videos are primarily informational and i know are practicing what you preach.
