Thanks for another informative video. What works for me is to build a draft bank/scheduled listings for each month, pulling for new sourced items and death pile. Usually I'll put 2 - 3 items in the draft bank for each day of the month and then as I find more product build that up to 5 items. This way when other activities/commitments get in the I don't worry if I miss a day knowing I have still launched product consistently. Congrats on reaching 1000+ subscribers! 👋💪
Thanks so much for sharing your method. I think I may eventually try to create a small draft bank with mostly bread and butter type items just to ensure listing activity on "those days." Either way, I am definitely active on the platform daily, as I believe daily activity has some influence on the algorithm in terms of impressions and search results. Getting 1,000 was exciting for sure, hope to wrap up my hours needed for monetization in the next 30 days! Appreciate you my friend!!
To have a consistent daily listing, I started scheduling 1 item a day. I did this for 30 days. The next 30 days, I have started listing scheduling 2 items a day. After 45 days, I am already seeing a consistency in sales. I also try to list items immediately that I just picked up. I am part time and sell on multiple platforms. This method is working great for me. I also try to list similar items at a time when planning my scheduling of items.
Great advice! I think it’s good to have a system for sure and everyone has to figure out what works best for their situation. Glad you are having consistent success!! Thanks for watching!!
had to put the brakes on it for a minute, catching up on some accounting and bookkeeping. Good to see things are moving forward for you ! always enjoy your content ! Nice find on the Jersey !
Thanks so much!! And I totally understand my friend, though I'm sure you will be back at it in no time. I really wanted to keep the jersey but it was just too good not to sell, so hard not to be a collector sometimes!! LOL!!
Really good upload Bama Jaybird Resell. I broke that thumbs up button on your content. Always keep up the superior work. Excited to see your next upload from you.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I really appreciate you supporting the channel. We have our meetup this week but I’m gonna try my best to get a video out!! Have a great one!!
LOL!! I try my best to be genuine. And I'm certainly not much of an actor anyways!! Most importantly, I think people considering reselling need a well rounded and accurate understanding of the possibilities, limitations, highs, lows, and everything in between. I appreciate your continued support!!
@@BamaJaybirdResell I think you portray this accurately and so appreciate everything you do! Always look forward to your videos!! Congrats on the over 1k! You are going places!!!
You can do it!!! I know that I had really slacked off the last month or so and goodness it's hard to get yourself restarted when that happens. However, when the sales slow to a trickle, it's time for a jump start!! I've finally got myself back in gear and it's most certainly evident in my sales!! LOL!! Good luck and God bless!!
Just found you yesterday, great videos! What I have not heard yet, if you have said it, is if offers matter. I am wanting to push out old/ low sell thru items. I am thinking my options would be: Leave the price the same, take offers off and put a 40-50% permanent sale on. Slightly lower the price, leave offers. Or, change the BIN price to something really low with no offers. Also, do you think offers or running sales really make a difference on any listings, it the item is priced well. Thank you for any opinion you can give!
@@kimberlyn5587 I send and receive offers everyday. I’m not sure exactly what my conversion rate is on those items, but I do make several sales that way. As far as real old, stale inventory is concerned, I have ran sales of 20-30% before with offers still on, but I think promoting is just as important. It’s also a good idea to review old listings for errors to make sure that isn’t the reason for it not selling. I have a few videos about stale inventory with tips for how to get it moving. I’ve even taken some items down before that I felt were hindering my store performance/metrics and decided to either donate them or put in a yard sale. Lower sale through items can be tough, but pricing at or near the bottom of the market price can also be a good strategy to increase sales on those items when combined with promotions. It’s very hard to move items in saturated categories without promoting because it’s often the only way to consistently eyes on those items. If it’s buried on page 4 or 5 of search results it’s very unlikely to sell. Hope this helps and glad you enjoy the content!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Hi Josh! I sell on different platforms, but I still think you can create a draft bank...not for sure, but either way, I'm like you, if I get the listing created, it's going up! I totally understand the draft bank model, which can provide consistency, but I want anything I have ready to have a chance to sell now LOL I always love your topics! Liked and shared, I bet you will have those watch hours by your live, best of luck!!
Thanks so much for sharing Mary!! I have always taken the sell now/ make money now approach. If I were to use the draft bank, I think it would only be to store some of the lower value, bread and butter type items for days I don't have time to list. But if it's got immediate money making potential and the listing is finished, I know for a fact it's going up real fast and in a hurry!! LOL!!
I have heard that you don't have to list every day, but you do need to be active every day. Sending out offers, answering questions, and yes, some listing. But if you can't get to listing, at least you have been active on the site by doing the above.
Absolutely!! I am not exactly sure just how much each part affects the eBay algorithm, but I know that complete inactivity can kill a store!! I am very active daily, even when I don't get to list. However, I do prefer to list every day when possible. Thanks as always for watching!!
I spent more than half the day getting down and dirty (literally) at an estate sale end auction…yeah I bought contents of a shed….anyone local want any Christmas craft stuff? Not my niche, so it’s probably gonna be gone at a lawn sale for cheap!
