Any magnetic material works on induction cookers. In fact, any metal would work in theory and the process is used widely in industry. For small home cookers though, it is however a safety feature so that small pieces of any metal placed on the cooker won't get instantly red hot. i.e. The cooker senses for large pieces of magnetic material and ignores small pieces and other things that are not magnetic. In any case, Copper would 'work too well' and damage the electronics. Aluminium pans are usually quite thin and it has a low melting point - the induction cooker would destroy them. Same for brass. Some stainless steels are magnetic, others are not. If shopping for a suitable pan, take a small magnet with you to the shop and check each one you want/like, although most will be labelled appropriately.

sir i attend induction stove dead condition igbt and bridge rectifier ,5mf capacitor changed at the time set working after 15 mins same problem happen again i will change same parts same few mins working again dead . i dont know the reason kindly give the solution pls
would you change same parts,, if you already change,,then please try changing power IC/ SMPS IC... you should check Resistor of power section,,Heating coil and Cooling fan,,,
it is called about high voltage silicon rubber,, it help to connect between the electronics parts and heat sink.. and the heat sink can suck heat from the parts thanks
