      I think the men in this fam did an incredible job, Mark apologized to Sarah's dad and they took time to understand each other, Mark's dad told him to go home despite what they've done and that he believes that out of a messy situation, there can still be a beautiful ending." and a beautiful ending did come, they are such a warm loving family now, where they can openly express themselves to each other and have trust and respect for each other.

    It’s evident from the interview that Sarah is pro-life. I’ve watched another video of them on another pro-life church RUclips channel “the heartbeat sg” who are obviously very much against abortion (can’t quite remember the channel name). Not against people who are pro-life, but y’all could’ve at least put a disclaimer - that Sarah is against abortion/ pro-life and these are HER beliefs and HER beliefs only. If any female out there is considering abortion, please do not let your decision be swayed by one person’s religious beliefs, because it’s YOUR body and YOUR choice, so make the decision for YOURSELF. Also, to anyone who has aborted/ considered abortion, do not be ashamed by your actions or think that abortion is bad simply because ONE person is pro-life.

    • @JL..
      @JL.. 2 года назад +29

      There's nothing wrong about being personally pro-life that anyone needs to put a disclaimer for as though it's an issue.
      Being pro-life does not equate to being anti-abortion, this isn't the US

    • @bethelll
      @bethelll Год назад +7

      @@JL.. Exactly. Many people talk about abortions and how their pro-choice and they never have to put disclaimers. That is why free speech is a thing. Also, choosing to keep or abort a baby is a serious thing that deserves thought. You can't make a decision without evaluating all factors. Yes, you may have decided to abort but listening to the views & experiences of someone who kept the baby, doesn't hurt. Being pro-life isn't and should not be treated like it's a bad thing that could trigger people, like what happened to inclusion? Finally, Sarah choosing to keep her baby wasn't purely religious. I clearly heard her refer to it as an ethical thing. Yes, her faith played a part but it was based based on what she felt was morally right for her

    • @tanyalee9210
      @tanyalee9210 Год назад +2

      The media is just an outlet to express one's opinion - and in this case, the couple, sharing their story. I do not understand why there is do much debate about her sharing her values through this Q and A. Just my thoughts.

    • @Ohwell267
      @Ohwell267 Год назад +1

      If your easily swayed by her opinion then deep down you knew you were already heading that way and it doesn’t matter what you or Sarah says because in the end it’s that persons choice and if she chooses to listen to Sarah or you then that’s okay you don’t need to come here like the abortion warrior and go off because of someone else’s opinion just like your it’s her opinion and you should be okay with it no disclaimer just leave if you can’t handle it be a adult.

    I have huge respect for both young parents and the tenacity to remain firm in their beliefs. Sarah is eloquent in speech and was clear in implying that abortion would be an unethical/immoral decision FOR HER. It would have been good to disclaim that. To anyone who has aborted/considering abortion because of circumstances without resources they had or traumatic incidents of violation (i.e rape, abuse), it is your body, and your choice.

      Unfortunately, that does not line up with biology. From the point of conception the fetus develops a unique DNA code (different from both mother and father), you are right to say that it's her choice, but to say that it's her body is simply not accurate.

      @@danielleong646 Having an abortion is killing living, human CELLS that are a part of a woman's body. Similarly, woman having an appendectomy is killing living, human cells that are a part of the woman's body. Pretty much ANY surgery results in the death of living human cells: it unambiguously ends human life. So for the same reason that an appendectomy (or any other surgery done with informed consent) is morally and legally permissible, an abortion is also morally and legally permissible.
      The question of "when human life begins" is simply a meaningless red herring. Females have the choice to undergo a surgical procedure AKA abortion to get rid of those unwanted human cells.

    wow.... really impressive story.... however, i would be hard-pressed to think of this as an inspirational story.... don't get me wrong.... i am truly mindboggled by the decision of keeping the baby and i am also deeply impressed by the resolve of both parents, but i think their attitude and willingness to then step up as responsible parents are truly one-in-a-mllion. in my opinion, this had nothing to do with age.... just proves what they were made of, whatever their religious beliefs are.
    i think unfathomable credit goes to their parents too.... imagine the judgement and stigma they had to face from literally everybody.... especially the girl's parents.....i think i would have gotten a stroke. mommy's daddy is a beast! :D
    having kids is a beautiful thing, but they really set themselves up for a truly uphill battle at such a young age. it has ultimately panned out for them and all this makes a good story, but they definitely didn't have an easy journey... i had friends that got knocked up at 16, and ended up giant tragedies thereafter. nowhere close to this couple's story.
    i do not actually buy that both would do the exact same thing if they could start all over again, but i think these two are so mentally strong that nothing can actually faze them anymore. hell of a way to train that though.... :D
    so , to all the youngbloods out there: think with the head between your shoulders, not the one between your legs... but who are we kidding, right? so the tried and proven 60s grandpa method: durex, tiger balm, durex... you will definitely know if it ain't working.... :D))))

    The conclusion I have in this video is parents are the one who shapes us. It's sad hearing teen parents getting disown for the baby they tried to take responsible. What is done is done, all we need to do is support them

    It isnt a fallacy tho. There's definitely trade offs. Nothing is without its opportunity cost. U can definitely be a career woman and a mother per definition, but the time spent wont be balanced. It's like trying to say that a banker can reach home so early and got so much free time. Nothing to do with empowerment but rather reality.

    great that they kept their baby and had a happy ending. But I hope they are not one of those Christians that pushes their beliefs onto other people and onto society at large. Whatever the case, I am happy for them that they are at peace with themselves and their decision, and in the end, that's should be all that matters to them.

      I dont think so. Both parents and friends sounds open to alternative such as adopt and abort.
      All these happen when they around 18, it doesn't really make sense they have grow and live in an environment surrounded with such people but they have conservative thinking at that young age.
      I think its more like she really wants to keep the child that abortion is not an option. Thats why she surprised when people suggest her to abort because she never thought that the child is a burden.

    Hearing Mark’s lunch story reminded me of myself, I thought i was the only father that had to sacrifice spending time with friends and being the main parent that takes care of the family.

      Theres always the possibility of going to your gyneacologist to choose your baby daddy from a catalogue before time runs out. Or a one night stand.
