Very interesting topic, I think you should make more videos about streetlifting programming, I really enjoyed this video. I think accessories can be useful for everyone, even for novices, but training the main movements it's more important. Great video
Yo bro - in your free time try an attempt an Iron Cross/Crucifix hold on rings. The reason I say this is that those who can dip their bodyweight or higher, will have the foundational strength for the cross. Lastly, don't do this if you don't want to lol.
For my opinion they are not useless completely. Even if you don't need accessories for me they can increase our strenght potential by hypertrophy. For example pull-up not effective as curls for biceps. If our biceps is growing, than it cause more strenght potential for pull-ups. Of course like you said it shouldn't be too fatiguing.
ngl I thought accesories were useless in weighted pulls, turns out I just really didn't needed them at the time and I thought that I was already a intermediate and above, when in reality I'm just a novice that had horrible programming. rn I'm progressing weekly, unlike back then when I couldn't even add a kilo in months lol
They can be great plateau breakers. Especially if the goal is hypertrophy. You can just relax when you have a plateau, as long as your accessory keeps going up. Eventually the plateau will break. Probably not the most effective go-to for strength though. Paused reps would probably be better (or switch grips if you're not training to compete in chins and dips).

I add some chest press, and triceps press for the dips too
Mathew Zlat says he doesn't like accessories.
