I suggest still signing up to the site so I can email you if there are new features out like downloads for Logic X, etc.
(the original comment was about email issues due to email rate limiting when there was a flood of sign-ups)
this is such a problem with email sign-ups actually, the easiest way around it is to just completely outsource sign-ups to something like google, you might also try looking at other email providers depending on which one you're using - i've had more success with mailgun than with amazon ses for example.
I was using zoho and it's done it to me twice today. However someone will be helping me move over to a more professional solution tonight! Thank you for the help
Hey Dylan, I guess you should replace the jQuery source from code.jquery.com into jsDelivr or CDNJS. I don't know if this is just my internet that performs bad right now or there's something broken there on the back where in some occasion the site would stop loading the page and you're left without a footer and jQuery unloaded until you clicked on the theme menu on the navbar which triggers a sudden a page refresh to load the those parts to complete.
Or just kindly host the jQuery locally please. This should not be a problem in the first place if it wasn't for Bootstrap that requires jQuery, you might want to try something cool like TailwindCSS if you want to avoid working on a the css part, the defaults are very broad and complete.
Thank you Ronan, I'll take a look into that!

This is absolutely brilliant. Perfect for those who have knowledge of music theory. I wonder if you should add midi presets for the instruments like pianos and stuff
For those who dont*?
This sounds absolutely amazing! I am the kind of musician that gets bummed out thinking about the tedium of song structure, so I think this will be a life saver for me!

Anyway, props to you. Take my like and my subscribe!
Idea: Allow paid members to drop in specific wav files for kick, snare, hat etc before generating the pattern.

It was only a matter of time. Good work! Most of these genres sound drag-and-drop as it is. Some ideas for you:
1) Logic Pro X
2) Playback and tweaking of individual notes on the site
3) Ability to re-generate for specific sections. Say I like the verses in a Pop template but wanna switch up the Chorus, have the ability to change it and apply different genre algorithms to different sections in case I want a 1/2 time trap bridge.
I would love to see Future Funk in the future.
Future Funk is my favorite genre, besides whatever crap Cryo Chamber has.

Would be cool, if you could add Rock and Metal to the mix at some point.
This is awesome man. I get lost in details endlessly and struggle to get a full coherent piece with a beginning middle and end. I've been doing these breakdowns myself but this will be a great help.
Hey! Congrats on the release of the website and I wish you the best for the future of Jukeblocks and the channel!!
This is going to help out beginners so much, I wish I had a proper song template when I was starting out. I'm super excited for when you get the note generation working, and will definitely be subscribing on Jukeblocks to support this gaining momentum. Great work Dylan
This has huge potential in my opinion for sure. Breaks the ease of access barrier down a bit more.
Proud of u bro! So nice to see the project come together! Keep at it with the new features! Curious to see how thats going to work out! :)
I've been obsessing about song structures lately and was thinking it would be cool to have a randomly generated song structure maker. Perfect timing man, awesome work- hope to see more genres and maybe an option to.. combine genres structures, even though you could do that yourself, would be cool to see.
This is legendary. Looking forward for the dubstep genre.
This is pretty nice! As a developer and musician, I'm very impressed. Also never realized Live doesn't have a region alias concept like FL and even Logic has.
So glad Drum and Bass is one of the free standard ones, definitely going to try this one!
Already seen some oddities like no snare during the first half of the drop (but that could be interesting?)
Great work Dylan!
This seems like a great idea! I will use this for sure if I get stuck trying to start a track and need some inspiration. Great job on this! I can't wait to see what else you do in developing this. :)

This is absolutely amazing, I've been waiting for something like this for a long while. Thank you so much Dylan! Thinking of suggestions maybe a downloadable Excel spreadsheet or something printable? I will use it as a guide as something to have in front of me as a guide of structure to follow while I make music as I already have my own custom Ableton template with al the sounds, devices and midi mappings. Genres wise metal would be awesome! Again, this is a life changing for me so congratulations, yey!!
This is the greatest thing I've seen in 2021 so far! Great Job Dylan :) The genres I'd like to see next are: Progressive House, Ambient, Chillstep, Classical Piano Music (e.g. Ludovico Einaudi or Fabrizio Paterlini) That would be awesome!!!
this is so cool!!! could you add future garage genre templates? ^^
This is great! Electro swing / jazz next? :D
About that sound generation thingie that you want to incorporate into jukeblocks.io. There is another project by OpenAI that can generate songs from itself. You don't need to even know how to create music or even make a song template. It can also continue songs and it can also generate singing from a lot of artists. It can generate its own chords, melodies, sounds. It's amazing
This is amazing! I've recently gotten back into music production as a hobby, but structuring my tracks has always been one of my main issues. This tool looks very inspiring, and i hope to learn a lot from it.
9:02 I was about to ask for dubstep and future bass structure thanks
One day this could generate complete beats
Just add your producer tag
That day will become the end of creative writing nobody will sounds different anymore, probably the of the world.
Damn, I've been searching for this exact thing for ages, I was surprised nothing quite like it already existed. Already such an incredibly useful tool, subbed immediately. Looking forward to new features like support for other DAWs (Reaper and Bitwig would be great, but the MIDI option should be useful for those in the meantime). Hope you can implement some time signature options too, then I can get to work on some 13/8 prog metal nonsense. Down the line I would love to see this turn into a fully fledged editable scratchpad for ideas just for sketching out track structures before ever adding a single note. I'm not too bothered about randomly generated sound content, already plenty of those but it would be a nice feature for some people. Awesome work man.
how you been working with it
Congrats on the launch! It's a great idea, hope it catches on and you can continue developing it.

I think you just made a revolution.
Dude you are doing a huge service to all uninspired or art blocked producers everywhere! And even anyone else wanting to get inspired
This is such an amazing idea with a wonderful execution! I can’t wait to see how it evolves!
Hardstyle/Hardcore template pls
At this point, jokes are already generated randomly or yet but possible...
This is great! Thank you for making this. Seems especially great for people who are new to any sort of music production. I've just been getting back into it after quite some time and song structure is definitely somewhere I struggle with so I'll definitely be trying this out!
Although some of the added features you've talked about sound interesting, it's the song structure that interests me the most and that's where I hope you'll keep investing! I think it'd be really great to really hone in on what your algorithm can do and the various sub genres that are out there. I've been recently more interested in dub techno as well as hard style techno which both kind of fit under the techno genre but are very different. There might be a lot of potential in there for figuring out common nuanced differences between some of these genres and trying to implement it.
This is a big one! Thank you for building jukeblocks! :) it would be great to see Hardstyle / Rawstyle there in the future :)

Dylan just had to jump back over from the jukeblox site but you know how insane amazing this is. So impressed with the work you’ve done, this is a niche that has been seriously needing a solution I think it’s a real struggle for budding producers not being filled. So many, myself included battle again and again with making songs and not just loops. It’s the #1 road block that a lot of artists run into and never conquer. Thank you for your commitment to elevating the craft, & helping others but mostly for doing it all in the right spirit/with the best intentions.
This is sooo good for newly beginning producers who bought fl but dont know where to start. Instant genre build. Genius. Thanks so much!
Speaking of additional genres, heavy metal, progressive metal, and metalcore would all be amazing to see represented. Heavy metal leaning more toward traditional "rock" structure, progressive being more "b-section" oriented with more sporadic instrumental sections, and then metalcore leaning more toward breakdowns / bridges. Metalcore specifically has been a bit "dry" lately imo, it'd be cool to see what your algorithm could do to introduce a little variation to the mostly standard song structure.
This is perfect! been looking for something like this !
Genuinely a brilliant idea, happy to support in any way I can!
I just subscribed to your site! So excited to see where this goes.

Fantastic idea man. I really like and support what you did just for the fact that you can blow up a lot of companies that are selling templates. Genius
Personally one good thing for me would be an option to play kind of a preview of the generated structure in the website itself, possibly would be easier to be done when you implement the sounds and note generation. I say this because sometimes I just kinda need an inspiration of the structure when I'm having a creative block on arrangements. This could maybe be a suscriber only option too who knows.
I started using this site today man, and boy did you do awesome. Having a already laid out track for arrangement helped me get rid of my music block and I was already pumping out a lot of idea. Glad this exist now :)
This is a good way to learn about the structures of other genres. It's a good visual guide to what you should be looking for when you're listening to music and studying the arrangement. You could always figure out the arrangement on your own, but for beginners this is great. :)
I never thought such useful idea could come to life. This is really awesome. You have made styling and arranging pretty easy now. Great work fam.
