      Hey Dillon! Thanks for stopping by. Morgen is amazing indeed! I want an original, but OG's have become too expensive in my opinion. I did good on The Smoke album. Take care!

    All stellar pickups Nico. Super Amon Duul find. I just chcked out 'Big Fat Brother Joint' off the Sameti album and it was fantastic. So I thank you for introducing them to me. You always introduce me to new music and I appreciate it immensely.
    Have a great week Brother N. Can't wait for the next one~

    I've been wanting a copy of Culpepers Orchard for many years. I will likely have to settle for a reissue. Excellent group of records. Awesome. Bill

    • @NicoMalcolm
      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Hey Bill! Thanks for watching. Yeah, that first Culpeper's Orchard is an amazing album. THE best from Denmark in my opinion. Their follow up, Second Coming, is good as well, but it doesn't match their debut. If I ever find an upgrade copy I will let you know. Take care and merry Christmas.

    Thank god for Kraftwerk Nico or I would not have known a single group. I just enjoy hearing you talk about the albums. Obviously you found some great items. I do love the sound of Rust. Congrats on finding a few grails. Very nice. Always a pleasure to see you. Steve

      Hi there Steve! Thanks for stopping by. Kraftwerk's first album is awesome. It's far from their later output and just about far out enough for me :-) Do check out Rust. I think you can find it cheap online. Take care!

    Another nice haul Nico! Especially the Sameti, Pete Brown, and Tonton Macoute LPs. I also hit thrift stores for vinyl, but other than piles of easy listening music, I haven't spotted anything decent. You take care and have a good holiday!

      Hey Mr. Scrutinizer! Thanks for watching. I did good this time around. I usually never find anything of interest myself in thrift stores, but this time I was lucky. I agree on Sameti, Pete Brown and Tonton Macoute. Excellent albums. Take care and have a merry Christmas.

    Great finds as usual Nico. The thrift buys are bonkers, can only dream of finding those here. Tonton Macoute is a big want of mine. I'm a fan of all of the Pete Brown records. I haven't scored for many bargains on Discogs but I did get a NM Things May Come for €60 a number of years ago. I think it was the first time it had been up for sale hence the low price. Little chance of that these days. Cheers Nigel.

      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Hey Nigel! Thanks for watching and commenting. I hear you! I'm not used to finding such records at the thrift store either. This must be a first since the 90's when everyone was giving away their records. Wow! Pete Brown "Things May Come" for 60 euros? THat's a bargain indeed! Online deals are getting rarer and rarer. Take care!

    Hi Nico. So you ended up with a copy of Malesch. Me too. I scored a minty original. Awesome album and one of the very best swirls. I had to go with an excellent cover as finding anything better would require a remortgage as you know. Culpeper's Orchard was also a nice pick up. I know the cover is flimsy as hell so you did well. Looking forward to the next lot of mixes. Gordon

    • @NicoMalcolm
      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад

      Hey Gordon! Sorry for being so late answering your comment. I just missed it. Congrats on your score of a mint original Malesch! Those are really hard to come by. Culpeper's Orchard's debut must be the best album ever to have come out of Denmark. Thanks for watching and commenting. Take care and stay safe!

      @@NicoMalcolm No worries Nico. I didn’t take it personally ;-) You’ll know yourself its a fragile matt GF that wears along the edges just looking at it. I just had to pay a small fortune in skat so no records for me for a long time...at least until the next Grail appears and then BOOM. I mostly gave up buying new records a long time ago. Way too many crappy pressings and scuffed vinyls from new put me off. Look after yourself.

    Hi Nico, Right out of the gate, one I have never heard of, Rust. Hor Zu... I have seen that on German Odeon Beatles albums. Again an amazing a ray of euro albums. There is an OG Pete Brown album at a local shop here in town. It may be the one you said was so so, I will look into it. Yesterday, I picked up a US copy of Amon Duul 2- Carnival in Babylon. It got some not so good reviews on line, except by fans who love it. That one has a really unique style of music for the band. Sorta folk, psych, rock. I'm sure you know it well, LOL Yeah, I like it a lot. I was in an antique mall today, and who should I see? None other than... Alice Cooper! He was there doing a bit of Christmas shopping. I wished him a Merry Christmas. Great guy! Thanks for your latest update, fascinating as always. Happy Holidays, Ron

    • @NicoMalcolm
      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад

      Hey Ron! Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, Carnival In Babylon is a great album in my opinion. Congrats on finding a copy. I think Amon Duul II were solid up until Vive La Trance. Wow! You met Alice Cooper? That's too cool buddy! Check out that Pete Brown album and get it if it's not too expensive. Even if it's the one without Pete Brown, just named The Battered Ornaments - Mantle-Piece, it goes for quite a bit of money. Happy holidays to you too, Ron!

      Hi Nico, I looked on line for the Pete Brown LP. It is the 1st one he did after Battered Ornaments. Pete Brown and Piblokto. I sampled bits of it, sounded good. I don't know where it ranks compared to the album you just got. I know that Piblokto album goes for good money. I will look at it when I'm at the store again.Yeah, running into Alice was cool. I ran into him before in the wild. About 2002 at an outdoor Phoenix antique swap meet. That time I got an autograph, he is always willing to sign.
