Hi Buildzoid. I’m basically wondering how you go about correctly adjusting the AC Loadline and DC Loadline according to the Vcore Loadline Calibration (LLC). I’ve watched/listened to your videos a couple of times and tried reading about the subject. But I’m not sure I completely understand it.
I have a gigabyte z790 aorus elite x wifi7 with a 13700k. I would like to use the medium LLC but don’t exactly know how to go about calculating the AC/DC values.

Incredibly useful video, given that the vast majority of us will never hook up a scope to see what's ACTUALLY going on with our voltage rails on anything even resembling a microsecond time scale.
Buildzoid: Could you please do follow-up video(s) on the Z790 Master and the Z790i Edge if you have the time? I've got the former (which I suspect is similar in LLC performance to the Elite in this vid) but am thinking of jumping ship to the latter given that it might be better at mem OC. And if I do, I'd love to have data on LLC levels.

Given the benefit of hindsight, you nailed or the key points Greg. I respect your intuitiveness. I considered that the real measure of intelligence. I just recently discovered your channel and I’m enjoying your fix or flop videos and their educational value. I have built eight PCs (both Intel and AMD) since the late 90’s and have luckily never faced those kinds of issues. However, one day my luck will undoubtedly run out. Btw, I’m gathering as much info as possible because I’m still struggling on whether to go Zen4 or Raptor. I don’t think I’m alone. I really only stress my systems when gaming, so productivity performance is less important. I wonder what advice you’d give. Cheers!

Hi Building Zoid, I just bought the DDR4 version of this board and installed 4x32gb 3600mhz ram that I pulled from a working computer operating at the xmp profile. However when I load xmp with a 13900ks it freezes the computer in BIOS or Windows. It also happens when I try 3200mhz...
I have the most up-to-date BIOS.
Do you know what should be done to get the ram to operate above the default 2667 ram speed?

Can someone please explain to me what's the impact of the AC Loadline setting? I'm confused, it feels like another way of describing the LLC.
Or to be more precise, it sounds to me like an extra voltage offset the vrm gives over the DC, like...putting a lower ACLL you can basically set it up to have an extra negative offset when under load?
I'm on this same exact board, on low llc. Kind of confused

What's the best way to test if you have a good LLC for your clock without an oscilloscope?
    On my 11700k, I'm at 5.0 @ 1.4v LLC5 on ASUS z590 Strix. LLC4 crashes. So I'm assuming to get LLC4, I would need to up to 1.43-1.45?
I'm just kinda curious how to find optimal voltages outside of an oscilloscope if monitoring tools can not measure.
