The old boy deserves an OBE,there ain't many people like him who take an interest in our future God bless you xx
What a fantastic idea, I would of loved that chance when I was younger. Keep up the good work Dave!
Many thanks!
It's lovely to see the well behaved children makes me proud I used to teach kids just like that in the 80 they were all marvelous
Dave you are a true ambassador of the countryside keep up the great work hopefully one day I will have the honour with having peg next to you
Great to see young folk taking part in what is a special day and will keep the passion of hunting and shooting alive with the next generation. Well done to all involved.
Absolutely brilliant video Dave your channel is truly inspiring. I’d just like to say that this year the shoot on my family estate will be restarting.🎉🎉I won’t say too much at the moment as we’re just waiting on final approval from one other family trustee but things are moving in the right direction.😉
The shoot originally started in 1842 and operated every year across 2000+ acres in rural Worcestershire,
ceasing in 2014 for one reason or another.. This year we will only be using 500 acres approximately to start with, housing two pools for ducks and six to maybe eight pens for pheasant.. Introducing youngsters into the sport is imperative for the tradition of game shooting to carry on long after we’ve gone, and we’ll certainly make it our mission to have ‘young gun’ days.🎉
Please keep up the good work Dave and I’ll email you soon to let you know where we are!
Great idea. Shoots must appreciate this is the future.
Thank you Dave for this amazing opportunity and I hope that you will be able to do a couple more. It was a great day and it will always be something I remember. Thanks again.
Brilliant! So good to see those youngsters with smiley faces enjoying everything shooting has to offer with their dogs and guns. You should be proud Dave!
Thanks Paul 👌
Surely all estates care enough about the future of our sport to put on a day like this a season! Great work Dave
thanks Chris
Really good to see estates bringing this in, I started shooting at 11 years old and now 15. Love shooting and have done since before I started and hoping to soon become a keeper.. Great film!
Thank you so very much for participating in this amazing shoot. I do hope that you and your family will help get other estates involved. You’re the best. Happy Christmas.
Thanks Kelly - and same to you and yours
The smile on those youngsters faces says it all well done Dave. 👍🏻👍🏻
Well done Dave, great to see the young guns out in the countryside enjoying a traditional shoot. It’s really important to have this generation understand and appreciate the traditional field sport fraternity to sustain it for the future.
Hello Dave, I have totally enjoyed this video and I do believe that it is a brilliant idea for keeping the countryside activities and the management of the countryside shots going.
Great film Dave, great to see the youngsters having a great day and learning about a great sport and gun safety.
Fantastic to see the youngsters getting involved it's what shooting needs Clay's drivin game or rifle shooting. Stay safe.
Dave, once again you have thousands of views the first day you release a video. This is a testament to the quality of hunts and wonderful ideology that your videos show. I hope the estates take up your banner for a youth day. Driven Shooting is a wonderful sport and a credit to all who love the countryside.
Thanks John much appreciated- I might be visiting over your way soon👌
Congratulations Dave on a brilliant video promoting our youngster’s shoot day on the Gwysaney Estate. We are very much looking forward hosting another day next season.
Absolutely fantastic to see a day like this. As you say it wouldn’t hurt any large shoot to offer out a small driven day to younger guns for a minimal cost, keep it up the good work Dave.
Thanks CM
Just brilliant, well done to everyone involved. These youngster days are of upmost importance, well done Dave for getting the message out there
Absolutely brilliant idea. If every gun contributed £5 per shoot day how many youngsters could have a day like this? Come on BASC et al we can do this! 👍😁
spot on Nick
BASC are already running driven game days for kids
Absolutely fantastic Dave, great to see these kids involved in our great shooting sports well done Dave.
One of the best films that I seen dave. All the young one shot well 👌 👏
This is Great and I shared to Twitter and Face Book
Thank You
Absolutely brilliant ❤️ what a great thing to see, put a smile on my face watching this. Be great to see a few more on your channel. Countryside at it's best❤️
thanks Chris - we do try
Just finished my second boys day today at the age of 15, very enjoyable and knocked a few out the air aswell which is always a bonus
Let’s be honest most commercial shoots could spare a 60 bird day for 10 young kids to do for free or nominal costings. Sadly many won’t but if they want a future it’s one of the things they need to think about
Thank you Dave for all you do for the youth. 👍👍
Very welcome
Good to see events like this for kids and well done Aj from Scarborough (Hackness shoot )
Well shot sporting lads and lasses! Very enjoyable video and it is edifying to know that these young shots will be succeeding us in the shooting sports in the coming years.
Outstanding video Dave. Huge kudos to the estate for putting that shoot on, and to you for no doubt orchestrating it. That day will certainly be a lasting memory for all of those kids and will hopefully keep them in the sport we love for the rest of their lives. Looked like they all had some great opportunities and pulled off some fine shots.....no shortage of birds there. Not to mention having Dave Carrie loading for you and coaching! Thanks for this one and best wishes of the Christmas Season to you and yours.
thanks Edward and best wishes to yours👍
Another fantastic video Dave you promote our beautiful sport so well and educate town folk on what they are missing. Great idea to bring the young kids into this sport which hopefully one day will be the future of our sport. Well done and fingers crossed more estates follow suit and bring a smile to our kids faces.
Thanks for your support Gary it is much appreciated👍
Great to see the smile on their faces! Fantastic day out for everyone.
Great stuff Dave, well done. We have had a kids day every year for a few years now, absolutely priceless. I struggle to see how someone would criticise a kid (or pictures of) for holding a bird, 'the wrong way.' Show them, explain and include them in their learning process, but at least he was picking the bird up. Hey ho! Keep it up.
it was a ridiculous statement from a so called keeper who it turns out had less respect for the birds anyway!! and i might show the photo of him (the keeper taken off his own facey post) - demonstrating his respect in a future film- downright hypocrite.
@@DaveCarrieShooting in a way it is good, because it is quite possible that other people might agree with him, but at least they have had a reason to think a bit more about it!
good video well done dave, nice to see the kids out shooting.
Excellent video Dave, glad you are showcasing the youth.
Thanks Mike - America next
Another fantastic video Dave, It's always good to see the young ones with such enthusiasm having a great day. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!
Superb Dave, there’s plenty of wealth around game shooting, the industry can easily support this initiative and ensure its future.
i agree
Dave another great great video and the kids they look like they were having the time of your life time out there
Great work by all involved👍🏼
An absolute cracking idea and a great video well done Dave and all you team 👍👍👍
cheers Adrian
Things like this actually give me hope for the future and the kids that will be in leadership positions one day.
Good Day Dave, I enjoyed this tutorial very much. It brought back my youth days of pheasant hunting spactactular hunt on the countryside Dave cheer's
Brilliant video Dave and what some good shooting by the younger people they loved it well done everyone involved take care.
Thanks Kieth
I completely agree, I am personally a youngster and very lucky to help out with the game keeping and in return get quite a bit of shooting. (Mostly duck shooting)
Fantastic to see! I am definitely behind getting the next generation involved. They are the future after all. I was great to see the young girls and boys out enjoying the countryside and what a fantastic opportunity for them to go on a proper formal day. I hope one day i can do the same for my boys. Especially if like you say the shoots make it affordable. That would draw so many more in to the sport. Fantastic film that, well done all involved.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great day! Lots of smiles.
thanks
Im zarel englishman just like dave i was a clay instructor in english pribate schools came to america taught the quail unlitted kids in sc dave and i would have so much fun being with dave on his films as iv been on them in england. If dave met me i was the generation of criss pottefr and the films we would make would be the best it would be abhonor for me and intresting for the english folk as im a American now
Well done Alfie! And what an amazing video 💪🏼🤙🏻
Great ideal to involve the children in the game!🇺🇸🐻
Well done Dave,That’s what it’s all about our next generation
Fantastic, Dave!!! Great parents who care about their children's future, and that of the countryside. Teaching their children manners, safety, discipline, honour, patience and respect. Superb.
(I hope you charged 'em for those caps, Dave 😂🤣😂)
cannot beat country folk always bring their kids up proper👌
Well done kids fantastic day xxx
Any pheasants I shot at that age , we had to let the local keepers Tyres down first 😉 nice film mate .
Me too we used have an old fairground short .22 pump rifle no noise great pheasant getter on the old moonlit night👌 Where you been grumpy 🤷♂️.
@@DaveCarrieShooting Hello mate ,,, ah the ol .22 short can you imagine getting caught on the mooch with that now , life changing consequences,,,,,, still about mate just been a little bit different the last couple of years ,, that old covid nonsense has messed a lot of things up for a lot of people, plus nearly croaking it with sepsis after the jab I dident want .
Yea all good mate 🤣🤣🤣 Your looking well
@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 keep well buddy this channel needs proper blokes👌👊
@@DaveCarrieShooting You too mate ,,,and have a great Christmas 💥💥🍺
Merry Christmas David
Same to you Greg🎄🎁👌
An event which rightly said should be echoed on all shoots. All.aspects of this day teach youngsters lessons which they can take into everyday life. Socialising with people, learning about the countryside, not all food.is produced in confined barns on an industrial level. Let's hope our shooting organisations are watching this and bring it to the forefront of promoting our sport!! Well.done to all those involved.
thanks Neil - hopefully the youngster will have something left to go to
Great video I have ever seen. Thanks.
thanks loseb
Good video that Dave, i know numbers of youngsters getting involved are getting less and less each year, i got 4 Grandsons ranging from 3-11 and dare i say it they are not interested in any thing out doors at all, if its a video game at home its all day long, i have tried with the 2 eldest 10 & 11 at getting them in to fishing for a start but failed on that one, they have so much home entertainment these days,,
What a good idea.
Again nice film
Well done to all involved
Well done but is there one poor kid from London just to watch and learn probably not just kids from rich families which is still great well done I give my free time to regular kids for quail unlimited
What a lovely idea, we need to encourage the young ones.
Young Oliver shot well, but who on earth thought that Black Gold 30g 5's were necessary to kill those birds?
Not to mention his bruised face by the days end, they kick like a mule in a 20 bore.
I've been using a the same Beretta 20g since I was 15.....Im now 45 and I've never put more than an ounce of 6 through it. In fact 25g Express Supreme Game are a fine killing cartridge for the distance that most responsible sportsmen shoot pheasants.
Beautiful hunting
WONDERFUL
Brilliant
I didnt know where to go dave carie is a great human being i would love to shoot with him plus exange ideas on so called freedom plus his greay dauters troubles i hope you contact me dave it would be fun i look up to this englishman
What do the people in the video do for living?
So.... What is wrong with carrying a bird by its legs?
Dave
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️💕❤️
I taught kids from private school in england back then anti gun was to a minimum and most people had near twells rustall a shotgun i think how you became a multi millionaire is great np one gave it to you the only trouble is you have forgoten poor cant do this sport its just for the weathy people it takes a lot of work raising birds so what i say is give80 percent clays and at the last drive real bids thos would make it affordable i allways myself wanted to do this ome time in my life the sociall part of being real english you would have to lend me a gun which ist hard when iv come back home someone on the clay shoot lends me his and we all go round together in America where i lived a lot longer than england guns art any problem which is great i love seing the yougsters out there well done dave if you come to sc your be very welcome and we can shoot some on my estate
Hi Dave. Where do we find kid days. I have a 10 year old - she shoots with me but really fancies a day of her own. Many thanks
there will be an announcement soon that will put everyone in the picture👌
Look at the end of the day you got to have a goal mine is to meet dave do a interview shoot with him and tell the btitish public there true gun rights this would be a amazing movie the truth about whats really happening so young englshmen know the truth it would be a arsom viedo
You should come to are place and shoot where are readom estate in northern Ireland crossgar
Mint mate, what it’s all about.
Lucky youngsters in GB.Here in Germany you are not allowed to shoot a driven hunt till you are 18....bevor 16yo no hunting at all.
Shame it is important to start them young
Good video but 250 pound just pocket money??? Some people's weekly wage is less than that!
So, I take it no one can or is willing to explain why carrying a bird that was purchased and released specifically to be driven and forced to fly for sport harvest by the legs is disrespectful.
عنى بسوريه بضل ممنوع الصيد
dave is fantactic beautiful
Здравствуйте! 👍👍👍
Why not ask the guns to donate money or pegs to the kids and start a fund.
good idea

See if you wanted to take guns and stop hunting you would make everything more difficult and cost more when I started hunting in Sussex just my single barrel and a few eley cartridges that's it now license and safe and unless your a computer wizard very difficult to get and I belive now you need a hunting Lincecum to hunt a woodpiegon and a rabbit it's craxy and all of you let it happen craxy meaning nonsense but there all obstacles to put you of from having a gun or hunting you all should have no were in charge not you in the next two years they will try something else instead of incurring kids and the general public why because most governments are anti gun and most people are anti hunting I encourage everybody to shoot and have enjoyment just letting you know what I'm seeing say no more laws the 70tys were the best met great people most people in the country had a gun
