this is my first day every playing a harp as my harp just came in yesterday. I was able to follow this with ease and im so grateful for your easy to follow lesson! i would love more simple lessons and beautiful melodies as this one. thank you again!
Tiffany, thank you so much for this tutorial. I bought my 36 string Mid East Meghan harp 20 years ago. I’m whole heartedly working towards learning to play now that I have the time to do so. I don’t read music well so I play mostly by ear. Your camera angles and teaching style are by far the best that I’ve ever found! You have my gratitude, keep up the good work!
You are such an awesome teacher, Tiffany! I have a 19-string harp, so I was glad this arrangement works on it. 😊
oh glad to know it works for you harp! Thanks for the kind words. Hope you enjoy playing it!
This is really good, Tiffany, for a beginner. Exceptionally clear and steady away. Such a lovely tune to be able to play. What a boost being able to play it thanks to your super teaching! X
Thank you very much
I loved this. I got the first part but must practice 😊thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed! Happy harping!
Thank you! I'm just beginning but I could follow this very well on my Harpsicle. I appreciate this so much!
So glad it's working well for you!
That's really helpful and fun. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
These are great!! Thank you!!!!!
Thank you very much ♥️
I downloaded a harp app and now I am here for my first ever lesson..... technology is lovely
It sure is, when it behaves haha! How long have you been playing?
@@tiffanyharpandsong as I said, just downloaded band starting.....I know I might sound crazy to a sincere music teacher or student.....but it's lockdown and I am really tempted to learn after seeing Any from Big Bang theory
@@ni3070 I think that's great! I know so many adults learning the harp, I learned as an adult myself actually. :) I would recommend checking this out too: ruclips.net/p/PLAh8q5BtLFM6EgFniNpju8T8P4Pzdfcus
Christy-Lyn has a lot of resources for beginners! (most of my other lessons besides this one are aimed toward late-beginnerish/late intermediate)
@@tiffanyharpandsong ohhkk thank you so much for your input.....
Happy New Year, thank you Tiffany for this video. I just subscribed your Patreon. This is my first tune. Let's see how far I can go.
Thank you! I’m restarting as we’re in lockdown.
Me 3
THANK YOU!
Thanks Tiffany for sharing. I just started learning to play the harp and this is the first thing I learned
That's awesome, Jessica!
This a good lesson Tiffany. The fingering is clear and your harp sounds good. Thank you. 😊Alan
Glad you enjoyed it, Alan!
Thanks for sharing💕💕
Pleasure! Hope it was useful!
Friendly neighborhood time-stamps:
2:06 Run-through of early elementary version
3:40 Run-through of late elementary version (just realized there was an error in this...there is a slight difference in the sheet music than from what I play. Oops.)
5:11 Learn the first half of the tune (early elementary)
11:35 Learn the second half of the tune (early elementary)
17:16 Learn the left hand (early elementary)
21:36 Learn the melody using 4 fingers (late elementary)
Thank you! I wonder if this is playable in a 22-string harp?
Yes, it is! The lowest string is G below middle C. My late beginner version is also playable on 22 string with a couple small adaptions.
Can it be played in a 26 string Fullsicle?
Yep!
