It's still GREAT, no matter what arrangement or instruments are used. Buíochas libh go léir! Thank you all!
Eerie and lovely and evocative: my associative mind sees gentle raindrops falling all around, with rays of sunlight pushing through at each lovely note. . . Celtic is Celtic, all across western Europe and the British Isles.
After so many years, this music speaks so gently to my heart......
This is a fabulous and powerful version. Well done.
Alan Stivell et Brian Boru .....un grand merci merci de faire vivre la légende....magnifique cela regonfle le cœur des hommes ,

This song was traditionally meant for the harp... Hence “Brian Boru Harp” (Guinness label(and gift to the pope))
Just amazing,

my all time favorite tune on my favorite instrument, I only regret that it's the stivell arrangements that were used, the tune on its own is so much more poignant.
Pure elegance and grace, allow me to compliment you!

Magique !
Fantastico
Astonishing! Much regard for our beloved Italian brothers and sisters but I am not sure this arrangement. Obviously, I'm embedded in the Irish way but delighted it inspires.

Wrong.

Che spettacolo !
I really enjoyed hearing this version. You all played it so very well! I wish I was in there playing along with you!It is so different to the one that I play. Does anyone know where I can get hold of this music to learn it. I would really love to play it! Is it online or in a book or where? Thankyou so much for posting!
There's a site posted in the information beneath the video.
Nothing can be more awesome!
Actually, a better version of the March than Stivell would be, but this instrumental passes much more smoothly than his song.
Wow
awwwwwwwwwwwwwsmmmm
This is Irish March by Brian Boru. It is music from Heaven if the Heaven exists I also listened play by the Maestro Narciso Yepes in Guitar. Music for the heart, soul.
Ivanoe Cubillos n
Ivanoech ,this is not a piece of music written by Brian Boru.Brian Bóruma mac Cennétig died around 1014 .He was the inspiration for the piece
Nigel Howar
Very true. Thank you my friend.
The Celtic harp, as I recall, is wire strung, rather than synthetic or gut strung. Hence the more 'twanging' resonance to the sound. Quite different to listen to, but probably harder on the fingers!
Perchè erano a Treviglio e io non lo sapevo?
What is that woman in black sitting in the back without an instrument doing?
Waiting for one of the pieces where she uses her voice

Interesting to hear this done on a non-celtic tempo
@imwrongfrommyside uh the flashes of light are from cameras, lololol. dunno if you're aware of this but most modern cameras have a flash function -__- and what fucking snow drops are you talking about?
A bit fast , slow down a bit.

Wondermooi! (= Flemish or Dutch for WONDERFUL !)
P.S. It must be wonderful for a man to have a wife or girlfriend that plays the harp
😢Troppo leccata, troppo compiaciuta, troppo virtuosistica. Sembra la sigla di una serie tv. Brian Boru's March è una ballata popolare e nostalgica, che esprime l'emozione profonda degli Irlandesi per il loro amatissimo Re Brian Boru.
Magnifique!!!
