No Hormones left in my system etc. You mentioned chair exercises. Have you done a video on that? this is my first visit to your channel since listening to you in Dr Lam's interview. I was trying to build up, using my heavier gardening as my strength building... lol and I went too far. have been very low again for a week so I'm looking for answers and you gave me one of the best gauges I've heard! and hope for me to lose weight without trying to build back too fast. Yes you are right, it comes down to all activities expending energy where it leaves you quite depleted 🙄 in this case you will probably only have a few productive hours each day to do things that require energy. Take 10 or 15 min naps or relaxation breaks a few times a day. The Adrenal Fatigue Playlist will be good for you, I would not push past that at this stage in terms of exercise intensity. • @Vanessabhealthtv
      @Vanessabhealthtv 8 месяцев назад

      Hi there 🙌😊 Great to hear you are on the uphill! The weight question is tricky and an issue for many people. It really comes down to how long your body was in a state of fatigue as such where your sleep may have been affected. Not to mention food, time spent in a stressed or burned out state as opposed to the parasympathetic nervous system kicking in as it should (for many going through this issue and similar extreme burnout issues it's likely your sympathetic nervous system has been over worked, hence the fatigue issues to begin with. Then other considerations include types of exercise, correct levels if exercise for your varying capacity of energy and ability to recover (this is also thrown out of whack if you are burned out). There are many considerations for weight loss. You do need to be patient though and address main lifestyle pillars, IE sleep, food, correct exercise and stress. I coach clients in getting these four important foundational pillars fixed and optimized. This is the basis of healthy, sustainable weight loss beyond fatigue issues and for future. Most people in conventional medicine claim that Adrenal Fatigue isn't real. Is it a real condition?

    • @Vanessabhealthtv
      @Vanessabhealthtv 5 месяцев назад

      Hi Max - I am well aware of this. Most in conventional do not believe in it. When I had it (or whatever one may label it) years ago, I did have a traditional doctor tell me my adrenals were burned out, which caused the debilitating fatigue. Whether or not people label it as chronic fatigue, severe burnout, HPA axis dysfunction or adrenal fatigue, it generally means you have a fatigue that disrupts your health and daily life. These days I use the word burnout more so. So yes, the symptoms are real (and only people who have had debilitating fatigue understand this!) But whether or not adrenal fatigue is the term to use, I am unsure. In this video I discuss the things that help one restore basic health either way. Good food, sleep, a healthy amount of exercise. These pillars are important anyway :) Where are you at?

      @Vanessabhealthtv HI Vanessa. I appreciate your response! I believe in the condition and came across this video and it was really helpful. The symptoms combined with your advice make sense as to most of what I go through. As far as where I'm at, I've always been hesitant to treat Adrenal Fatigue mainly because of lack of evidence in conventional medicine in the past. A few years ago I went to the doctor for a normal physical and check up on blood work and everything was deemed "fine." I had no imbalances in my blood work and walked out healthy, which, in itself is good news. However, I was left with these symptoms that at that point I thought were just in my head. Then I came across your videos and several similar and most of the symptoms make sense.
      *Difficulty losing weight (Belly area Specifically)
      *Caffeine Dependence
      *Salty food cravings
      *Brain Fog
      *More energy at night than early morning or mid-day.
      Also, I have found myself having changes in glowing skin tone to pale.
      Heavy exercise does not feel super good.

    Ok, but I would never recommend yoga, as it is spiritually dangerous. Mike Shreve can tell you all about it. Tai Chi is also an eastern spiritual practice (so not just exercise), but I never did it. I did do yoga at one point and had a truly bizarre spiritual experience which made me stop and research yoga to understand what had happened to me.

    • @Vanessabhealthtv
      @Vanessabhealthtv Год назад +5

      Hi there 🙌 Thank you for your comment! In all the modalities mentioned I do them and recommend them for the effects on the nervous system, breathing, stress management and parasympathetic nervous system especially in the case of fatigue issues. I understand people have many different beliefs and spiritual beliefs/non beliefs etc but please understand in this case it's in the context of exercise, movement, stretching and getting the muscles moving in a way that encourages breath and also stretching and strengthening all at once. Different styles within each modality also have various effects on the body. For example, I would not do bikram yoga while I was truly exhausted as it's in a 40 degree room and can cause stress in people who are likely stressed out already if they have adrenal fatigue. On the flip side, restorative yoga in this case which would include soft, holding poses that encourage relaxation for the body is great in this case. The 'spiritual' part of it is also heavily dependent on the setting of the class and the instructor. So every single human who did the same class would have a different experience, this goes with any class including a fitness class or Pilates class too. Many variables and individuals perceptions here, but just to be clear, my teachings here and in all my programs refer to any movement modality and the positive effect one can get from them for their nervous system and rebalancing and building fitness holistically- working progressively their strength, core, cardio endurance and stretching as the main four pillars 💪 Hope this makes sense!
