Dear Friendlies - THIS is the video I first talked about on Thursday. They flagged this video as soon as I loaded it - before it even went live. And then they took 2 full days to review it. YES. THIS video was supposedly not adv friendly according to their algorithm. WTF>?
Carolyn's RV Life what is wrong with RUclips?! How could this be considered unworthy in any way? Hopefully RUclips will recognize a growing discontent among its creator community. RUclips has become somewhat of a refuge for me in today’s cray cray world. I feel connected and would not be happy with any changes that change my viewing options. I wouldn’t blame creators a bit if they search for an alternative where their individuality and creativity will be better appreciated. 🤞🏻for a resolution before the Exodus!
omg! Thank you for saving this young man. He would have died there. I volunteer at rescues and it's heartbreaking to see how people treat their animals but it's always a great feeling to see them land in a wonderful home. I wish there was there to give the 4 of you a big hug.
This was a very heartwarming video. I was 99.9 percent sure that you wouldn't leave him behind; but must confess that the .1 percent uncertainty had me nervous. Thank you for rescuing him. Thank you for not taking him to the pound. Thank you for finding him a home.
Thank you for rescuing Dudley, and finding him a new home so fast. Talk about being the right person, at the right place at the right time. Would love to continue to hear and see updates about our boy Dudley!
It just breaks my heart when people abandoned their pets not even turning them to local animal shelter or humane society.I'm so glad this poor dog got an immediate keeper so it can stay forever with them.God bless this beautiful couple for taking care this dog !
Speaking from experience as a proud owner of 2 stray dogs - Sometimes the universe sends you the dog you were meant to have (or your friends were meant to have)!
Seeing this over 2 years later and I'm so glad you saved the dog! What a good dog to let Badge wash him even though they just met. It's so great to see a happy ending.
What a fantastic stroke of luck for Dudley that some one kind and compassionate saved him and found him a wonderful forever pack to travel with. Thank you for taking care of him so well.
Oh my gosh! I'm so glad Dudley has a new home. I hated the thought of you having to just walk away and leaving him in the wild. I have two rescues and my biggest ate like Dudley did when he found you. They have been with me for 8 years now and they are the most loving, caring and funny girls. I don't want to imagine my life without them. Anyone who doesn't know the love of an animal, you are missing a lot. Unconditional. I tell them every day how much I love them and they show me every day, how much they love me. Have a great life Dudley!
I was surprised to hear that a ranger would respond the way he did and suggest she not feed him and just leave him out there. What a dumbass! People with authority should show a little more concern for those who need help regardless of animal or human.
I was extremely disappointed in that ranger. His callous attitude towards a dumped or lost domestic animal was heartbreaking. I’m so very happy that you had compassion and worked on a humane solution. Have a great life Dudley!!!!
I'm in tears too. The biggest hug that I can send is coming to you. Thanks so much for what you did. We need more kind hearts like yours in this world.
That pup was not just abandoned. My guess is it ran away chasing a rabbit or something, stayed around a campground eating out of the trash. Irish wolfhounds are a prized breed and as a young pup it probably went tearing off chasing a rabbit or skunk. Had I seen this video when you found him I would have gone through much trouble and money to get him to my home. His owners are a lucky couple to have such an awesome dog!! **I just showed my husband the video and he said he'd have gotten on the plane to get him and driven back here to S. California to live on our ranch. We are both so happy Dudley has found his home with the nice couple. Just a note there are Irish wolfhound rescues that would have taken Dudley in a heartbeat.
Awwww, Carolyn! With all of the bad and sad news stories going around these days, this is the BEST story and a wonderful ending for a precious puppy. Thank you for caring and looking out for another sentient being in need. I wish the best to your friends and their new family member. 😊❤️
Naturalicity me too. I had to pause the video and scroll down to read the comments because I wasn't going to finish watching if the pup wasn't rescued, my heart couldn't have taken watching if he had been left out in the woods.
Glad he found a new home. You were kind to take care of him. Someone less compassionate person would have left him there to fend for himself -- possibly like his previous owners, or maybe he just got out of someone's yard. Glad this story had a happy ending.
I REALLY love you n ur friends. I hate it when a adorable mut shows up and i can't take it in. He was so very cute. He seems to have ate not just the dog food up but also all that attention. I'm so happy for him.
Thank you Carolyn, for not just leaving him there, half way through the video I was thinking how can I get him here! He's adorable, how can people be so mean and just abandon an animal. I thought he looked like a pure bred, so cute! Thank you to your friends for adopting him, pass a long a thank you hug, won't you please.
I don't know what they're smokin' at RUclips. This video made me laugh and cry and then laugh again. Dudley does look like an Irish Wolfhound mix. I am used to 180lb Great Danes, so he's kinda small. Bless you for feeding and caring for him, and bless your friends for giving him the perfect home!
Dudley looks 100% better, even before the bath. Just feeding and attention made a huge difference. Irish Wolfhound???? No wonder he survived. Funny story. Years ago, Letterman had dogs from the Westminster Dog Show on his show and they brought out a Russian Wolfhound and followed that with an Irish Wolfhound. Dave's reaction. They must have bigger wolves in Ireland. Good luck Dudley! Carolyn, Badge and El, ya' all get my vote for all the best rewards in life. Ya' all are good people. And what is wrong with RUclips. A dog video with a happy ending????? How can that not be the biggest money maker out there?
Dudley hit the jackpot!!! He has his own loving home. Thank You Carolyn!! Thank You for not leaving him behind and "ignoring"him. This poor dog would have starved and frozen to death. A malnourished skinny dog cannot keep himself warm in cold weather. I rescue/foster and I have 11 dogs right now. God bless you for helping this wonderful pup !!!!
Dudley turned out to be absolutely beautiful ! I don't know who's been more blessed, Dudley or the new owners!!! Thank God for your loving heart and video. So Touching ! Pure happiness.
Sue Meyer ...... I have been a cop for over 28 years..... and what that Ranger said and did was wrong..... if it was a fox or coyote thats one thing..... this is a domestic animal and needed help....shame on him....
Sue Meyer I was just up north in Michigan found a dog swimming in the lake by himself tried to find the owners call the police. A sheriff came then said that their contract with the Humane Society his been up for 2 years he cannot possibly take the dog he has nowhere to keep. He said you can keep the dog yourself or you can turn him loose. I can tell you this officer was not happy. And at that moment one of the owners drove by and got in big trouble.
Can you imagine... if people really did listen to this psycho?? It’s so obvious somebody dumped that poor dog there. It’s their duty to take to the animal shelter and maybe see if he was chipped and find out if he has an owner.
So happy he wa a rescued! He will return it with unconditional love. Leaving a dog to starve to death is a cruel thing to do. He would have starved to death. Domesticated dogs do not hunt for food. Some dogs have remnants of prey drive in them but most would not hunt and then eat anything they would possibly kill. And most do not have killing instincts if they've been a well cared for pet. Leaving him in that rural area to survive on his own would have been a death sentence. You are angels for saving him. He clearly was a loved pet before. Hopefully he has a forever home.
That’s a super story! He was so friendly and adorable; didn’t seem wild at all. How could that ranger say to ignore him? “Dudley” suits him. Dudley’s ship came in!
Rhonda Weber that ranger sees too many of the dogs thats why. Families camp and their dogs wonder off and get lost. When vacation is over and its time to go if the dog isnt there and ready to go they just assume a wolf or a bear got him and leave.

Agree it is appalling, and it isn't because the ranger sees "too many". Caroline WANTED to help and the ranger told her NOT to, how dare he! People like that should not have jobs overseeing the safety of wildlife and other creatures.
God bless you! You are what people need in this world. My joy is a very large stray that had been beat with a chain. She acts like her job is to make me happy. I guess I need her maybe more than she needed me. Life has joy again after 13 yrs because a stray dog who wanted to give love and protect me. Thank you for caring for the dog and great video. You made my day better!
What a sweetheart he is. He is a keeper. He just wants to be loved. Oh, he is going to be the best companion for them. I hope he is feed dry food to keep his teeth clean. Everything happens for a reason, lol. We know he will be loved.
When I heard you say, "some friends are going to take him", I just took a deep breath and said out loud "NO WAY". I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. Thankyou all for saving his life !!! I can't wait to see him again.
SOooo glad he found you and now has a happy forever home. I was crying, missing my furbabies when this popped up. Made my heart smile. A big YTer, not a nomad, said he publishes videos and marks them Private. Waits 5 or 6 hours and if it doesn't get tagged, he changes it to Public. If it gets tagged, he DELETES it and repeats. Said he's never had to do that more than twice. Asking for a review while it is marked private doesn't work because their policy states they won't even do a manual review until you have 1K views on it. Wha???? ALL of my vids have been hit. My last one they didn't review & approve until it already had 4500 views! I am going to try this guy's method. Good luck & Happy Thanksgiving to you and Capone!
So happy to see your name here, Debra! I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are. Just reading your post is such a relief b/c that Debra spunkiness is out trying to fight ways to defeat these YT challenges. lol. That would be great if this method works to get around the demonetization issues. Take care and KOKO!
I thought, at first, Dudley looked like an Irish Wolfhound but then I thought, no, not out as a stray! But, if the vet feels he's almost if not purebred, I think it's a match. I can't believe someone would abandon a dog. We don't know Dudley's story but we know how the rest of his story goes.
Carolyn your sooo sweet to help this helpless little guy! He would have died if you would’ve have not taken care of him. He’s adorable!❤️❤️❤️am sooo happy to know that he’s been adopted 😍❤️❤️❤️
Great video ! Heart-wrenching at first, then soo-oo heart-warming when he found a loving home . He most likely perished on his ewn out there . Kudos to you , Carolyn , for being his guardian angel . Thank heaven for happy endings !
Bless you!! Thank you for not listening to that ranger! Alot of people, unfortunately, are just like that when it comes to animals.😭. I know this video is older...been subbed for quite a while but I've fallen behind. Thank you thank-you thank you for not leaving that dog! My guts were in knots! Too many empty hearts nowadays. Don't misunderstand...I get that all the "what if's" can be dangerous to existing pets and not everyone could even spare enough food to feed another enormous appetite! That's why I'm thanking you!! 😁 Your heart is 💛💙ENORMOUS💜💚
I love you. This video has to be approved for monetisation by RUclips. This shows kindness and humanity. Am so upset with RUclips for not allowing you to earn in the views!! Everyone has to be able to learn from this video. Save a life. 💚 thank you for sharing and teaching.
Oh my goodness...what a gorgeous boy...he looks like he has some Irish Wolfhound in him! I have been sat here with tears streaming down my face (they still are!) and I am sooo happy to hear that your wonderful friends have adopted Dudley. Thank you sooo much for your kindness to this precious soul and to your friends who adopted him!!! PS - Didn't finish watching before I started typing...he IS an Irish Wolfhound!!! They are such magnificent dogs...and he's so lucky to have new loving parents!!!
Carolyn that's an awesome thing that you did. He reminded me of my terrier (who was only 30 lbs) who my wife and I sadly lost about 6 months ago due to her old (a little over 14) age. For the past 9 months of her life she started having seizures (probably due to a brain tumor) so if was tough and sad to see her struggle on a daily basis. My wife and I don't have any kids and we both love dogs so I can relate to you. Life is funny sometimes just 3 months after losing her while down visiting my wifes family in Mexico a neighbors stray dog came walking by and he looked almost exactly like the terrier that we lost. We decided to take him (the owner said no problem) and he's about 1 1/2 also. Took him immediately to the vet and other that being dirty was in good health. 4 months later he's really turned out to be a great find. He saved us and we saved him. If and when Capone starts to show the signs of aging and starts suffering I believe it's going to be very hard for you to deal with emotionally. You might want to get another dog to help buffer the loss. Never thought I'd say that but my wife and I were grieving something terrible and by getting another dog it's been a wonderful distraction. However, she will never be forgotten.
snakclub thank you so much for sharing your grief with us. I found your story very moving, and I can totally relate... I am still grieving myself. My beloved cat Smokey was killed by a coyote, and seven weeks before he was killed, my other affectionate cat Lucy went missing, and I must assume that she was also killed by a coyote... I have two senior female cats remaining, and I am just waiting to see what new animal will be coming into my life... thank you again for sharing your wonderful story, may God bless you both!
Shortly after Losing my Rosie and discussing it on another channel I got some real good and yet interesting advice. I was told that when I'm ready a dog will find us both. This really stuck in the back of my mind and was a major deciding factor in making my decision to get another dog when we did. I've learned over time to always go with your gut and if a really good opportunity presents itself don't hesitate grab it or otherwise you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Sounds like I'm becoming somewhat of a fatalist. Thanks for sharing and I'm so sorry about your loss with the cats. My brother about 20 years ago lost his cat while living in a mountainous area probably due to a coyote and about 10 years ago my cousin had her little poodle out in her own backyard and a coyote came and snatched it up and ran off with her Fifi. She was devastated.
snakclub when I hear stories of people who grieve over the loss of their dogs or cats, I think of the song "Mr. Bojangles." "He spoke with tears of 15 years of how his dog and him traveled about. The dog up and died, He up and died, After 20 years, he still grieves..." Ain't it a grand and marvelous mystery, how love never dies? And although coyotes have caused me immeasurable grief, I do not harbor hatred for them, they are just trying to live and survive, as we all are...they are as God made them, and they serve a vital function in the ecosystem of this earth...

Carolyn's RV Life I agree it's crazy about RUclips, I think it's a super cute video and was so glad that you found Dudley a good home!!
Carolyn's RV Life ~ Yeh, something's fishy. Just isn't right.
He picked you

Thanks Carolyn for helping this lovely soul find a great home, we were literally choked up over this video!
Carolyn: You were right up there in my book already but you’ve managed to climb a bit higher. And your friends deserve big kudos, too!
aw, thank you so much Walt. I'm honored. :-)
This video is my favorite of yours
It says he was checked at a vet and not chipped, did you watch the video?
Seeing this over 2 years later and I'm so glad you saved the dog! What a good dog to let Badge wash him even though they just met. It's so great to see a happy ending.
Dudley probably would have died if it wasn't for you Carolyn! Glad you found him when he needed someone most!
You're right the dog might've died if he hadn't found Caroline she's a gem
Meant "Carolyn"
Saving our Beautiful animals is the best story ever.. Thank you for rescuing this Beautiful Dog..

It was meant to be. All of you are great people. God Bless you all.

That last shot of Dudley looked so great! So happy for everyone. Darn Ranger! Glad you didn’t listen to him.
Dudley looks very healthy. Thanks for caring. We was put on the earth to take care of people and animals. God will bless you 7 times.
Omg! Thank goodness they took that poor boy! Sorry but that ranger sucks! That dog would have died without help
I know.. :-( worst Ranger ever. :-(
Carolyn's RV Life to bad you can't complain about that stupid ranger. I bet he doesn't have any pets at home.

Dudley is a beauty! I bet he makes a terrific addition to their family.
Awwww, Carolyn! With all of the bad and sad news stories going around these days, this is the BEST story and a wonderful ending for a precious puppy. Thank you for caring and looking out for another sentient being in need. I wish the best to your friends and their new family member. 😊❤️
Aw, how sweet! I was so worried that you were going to have to leave him in the woods. Good job, Carolyn!
+ Naturalicity - Me too! I’m so happy things ended well for Dudley!!! 🤗💞🤗
Naturalicity me too. I had to pause the video and scroll down to read the comments because I wasn't going to finish watching if the pup wasn't rescued, my heart couldn't have taken watching if he had been left out in the woods.

Yea for dog lovers. I couldn't have left him either. Good job!!!!!

Great story!
Great job! No way could you leave him, he’s adorable. Thanks for finding him a great home
Thank you Carolyn, for not just leaving him there, half way through the video I was thinking how can I get him here!

Saving a dog may not change the world, but it changes his world forever. Thank you.

+ Aude Khatru - I agree. Funny story. 😁
Omg.... this is the best story. You saved this beautiful boy. What a cute guy
Dudley is so cute and I'm so happy you were able to find him a forever home.

Debra Dickinson I
Love the dog ..it’s very nice that you saved him and found him a forever home 🏡
I love this video, I just keep re watching it. That Dog Loved you. Got to watch it again.
awww. glad you enjoy it! ty!
Glad it turned out ok for Dudley. All dogs should be taken care of, human responsibility! They are like little children
You're the best 🐶💞 now Dudley has a home with lots of love. God Bless
I would not think about it twice to take that DOG home with me.Thanks for your kindness.God Bless you all.
He passed away because he had a lot of medical issues, per Carolyn in a catch up video. 😟😟
He looks like a Irish wolfhound they are big dogs but really good temperament. And expensive well in CA they are. Thank you for not leaving him there.
They are such magnificent dogs...and he's so lucky to have new loving parents!!!
it sucks they only live about 7 years though.
Bless you for your act of kindness and life for Dudley.
Bojangles."
"He spoke with tears of 15 years of how his dog and him traveled about. The dog up and died, He up and died, After 20 years, he still grieves..."
Ain't it a grand and marvelous mystery, how love never dies? And although coyotes have caused me immeasurable grief, I do not harbor hatred for them, they are just trying to live and survive, as we all are...they are as God made them, and they serve a vital function in the ecosystem of this earth...
