as a turkish person and a beşiktaş supporter i have things about to say lots of the things in this video.
1- all the problems in turkey coming from one and only one reason. i wont be saying his name but if you looking anything about turkey you can figure it out.
2- our football federation president was not elected as usual in last 20 years. normally all the clubs chairmans in first and second division get togetger and elect one of the canditates. Mehmet Büyükekşi was a shoemaker and no clue about football or how to manage it. he even said "i cant be adress which one of the ball in front of me as football ball". someone because of the politic agenda put him in charge of turkish football.
3-our referee's just bad. you can think about it this way for better understanding. if there's a mistake about a call in modern football you can go or ask to VAR to correct your decision right? they were not doing it because they afraid to VAR expose their incompetence.
4- lots of injustice happening in our football, because of the poor management and ignorance. like economic, corruption on every level, justice system, human rights, animal rights...

The referee level in the bundesliga is bad aswell but all of that has to do with there being too little referees overall in basically every country. The overall quality has sunk significantly and if a referee does poorly he wont get punished because there simply arent enough qualified referees to replace them (by qualified I dont even mean good necessarily but just referess that are allowed to host matches in the first league). There are also referees, definitely not a majority, but some that seem to be more in the job for the power that they can obtain. There's no need for an expert or anything, Its way too obvious for anyone watching both gala and fenerbahce games here. Gala player does a gesture towards the opposite fans. Gets suspended for 1 match, instantly. Fener player makes gestures towards opposite coach and players, swears at opposite fans, fights with his own teammate and THREATENS the ref all in the same game and doesnt get a red card or a suspension. This alone is enough to see the difference. Dont even need to talk about how many red cards, penalties, goals were gifted to fenerbahce to secure their points. Dont even need to talk about how fenerbahce manipulates other teams in the league and make every away match a home match basicly. Getting all of the opposite fans seats to themselves. Filling the whole stadium with their fans. And doing the exact same on Gala games. Filling the whole stadium with Fenerbahce fans while Gala is playing away. Its really simple to someone thats willing to see.

One more point as a Fener fan maybe not under the sporlight,in first half of a season just before fener gala derby Fred fener player was given a red card for saying a bad word to the ref that has not been proven yet.He is the key player for fener and just like that he was suspended from a turkish ref that apperently understands portuguese

Here's an added bonus: Fred was sent off and punished right before the game of Fenerbahçe v. Galatasaray in the first semiseason of the league for saying "why are you giving this stupid foul", as stated. This position was a grey foul right outside the box against Fenerbahçe, in the game's last minutes where Fenerbahçe was in the lead 1-0.

This is a detailed x-ray to the sad reality of Turkish football in this season. Good work, thank you for shedding some light on that situation.
This will be a sad thing to say, but as in many areas in the country, if the ruling party would just take their hands off the federation, that would improve things dramatically by itself. But the members and key supporters of the ruling party in here are so greedy, they just want to control everything they can profit off of. You should look into the bet industry in Türkiye and how betting and gambling ads made their way to many, many websites where there's illegal streams of the Super League or other TV&film content. That money flow ties to the key supporters of the people in power in here, and I don't want to talk further about that as it's where things get dangerous but you get the point.
So, the thing we should do is not allowing politics in the football federation and the pitch. Easier said than done though, there's too much money changing hands to even allow that to happen.
The funny part is there are much less money and fame in the basketball and volleyball teams in Türkiye, yet Turkish teams are so successful in international events, even dominating some of the competitions they're in. This also reflects to the national side of things, we're the #1 in women's volleyball because it's just our women competing at the highest level. It makes me feel hopeful to see what happens when no political influence nor corruption has made its way into the federation and the clubs.

I'm a Fenerbahçe fan and i can say that with proud i'm glad to be a Fenerbahçe fan. Fenerbahçe is a big team with 25-30 millions fans and it representing Turkey in nearly every branch of the sport. Yesterday woman basketball team won the euroleague, man basketball team tries to win the euroleague also. We also one of the best teams in europe in mans and womans volleyball too. We are active and one of the good teams in table tennis, box, sailing and etc. As you said in the video we are good at football in europa league and conference league. Now think about by our perspective, Fenerbahçe is the first team that collects points in Turkish league in the last 10 seasons and we have 0 title. It is a bit awkward situation. Terorist group claimed that Fenerbahce made matchfixing we banned from europa for 3 seasons we lost a lot of money. When we are very close to championship our bus is shoted and we still don't know who it was and our player afraid and we lost the league again. Think about a team that has a great victories and trophies in all the branches but not in football. How many teams in the world gone through shit like this? In trabzonspor match trabzon fans throw thousands of waters and coins and hit a lot of player of us. They throw a burning material and when this material in the pitch ref gave trabzon a foul and trabzon equalise the match 2-2. We were ahead 2-0 before that. Also they attacked our players and our players defend themselves and TFF gave our players penalties. It is very hard to be a Fenerbahce fan. We couldn't be successfull in Superleague because football is a mess in Turkey. And politicians are also involved in. We have to fight against all of them.

Watching the turkish league as someone who does not support any of the Teams may be the Most entertaining thing you‘ll ever See. But for someone who supports any of the Clubs it may be the Most nerve wrecking and painful thing ever. As someone who has been following the league and watching games for the past 13 years I can say that some of the things happening in this league are so predictable. You can just tell that match fixing and helping certain Teams is a thing. E.g. if you look up the derbys that have been played in the last 5 Seasons you can tell that one Derby was always played either on the second to last Matchday oder third last Matchday to keep it exciting until the end. Another example: Besiktas has played 8 from the last 9 Games against Sivasspor in Sivas in Winter and one during summer and it is known for a fact that winters in Sivas are very cold and tough to handle. Just tells me that the Championship is artificially being kept exciting, especially because the top 2-3 Teams always fight up to a certain point in the Season. The Referees themselves confirm wrong decision makings because of pressure put on them and you cannot even blame them because if they don’t bow to pressure they either get attacked by Fans or club staff or even club presidents.

7:15 bit of background information: Trabzonspor felt earlier robbed of a championship agaisnt Fenerbahce and the TFF. This is why Trabzonspor feels an intense hatred towards Fenerbahce these days.
Trabzonspor really tries too spin this as if they are the victim of these riots and are punished way too harshly. Theyre mainly using "whataboutism" arguments towards Fenerbahce players, who granted, also misbehaved. With Jayden Oosterwolde kicking a fan in the head while that fan already was downed on the ground. It really seems now Fenerbahce is responding with more whataboutism, they felt like they where being wronged for the last 20 years
If you ask me, the relationship between both clubs are damaged beyond repair. Its too dangerous, also with the reputation of Turkish fans in mind, too allow fans anymore of both clubs at matches. All Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor fans should stay at home when the sides play eachother

You are right in some of what you say, but just because a fan with a knife and a stick is on the field and on the ground does not mean he will not get kicked. If someone is attacking you and your team, it is their natural right to respond. Yes, this is not the right thing, but first of all, they need to think about their own lives. There is no football federation developed enough to talk about what the players do, we must first solve the fan problem.

The higher the euro rises, the smaller teams income diminishes. Over the last three years, many popular small-town teams have gone bankrupt, and many others are waiting for their turn. Not many care about the economic situation of these teams. There is a 33-point difference between the second and third teams, and with five more matches remaining, this divide will likely widen further. It's worse than any 'farmers league'.

Regardless of what might've been told on Turkish media Fenerbahce did actually fixed matches during 2010-2011 season. Aziz Yildirim (Fenerbahce President at that time) accepted the proofs such as records of phone calls and videos of Fenerbahce opponents receiving bags full of money in public. Even on the case held by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (An independent Swiss court) Aziz Yildirim didn't deny the allegations. Moreover, current president of Turkey (was prime minister then) Recep Tayyip Erdogan who also is a Fenerbahce Club member and Servet Yardimci (Turkish Football Federation member then and Fenerbahce Board member. Also running for president for this year's Turkish Football Federation election) changed the law so that Fenerbahce wasn't relegated after that season. After all these Aziz Yildirim served a year in prison.
In 2016 the parallel structure in Turkish government attempted and failed a coup so a lot of people related to the organization were penalized and were let go. The problem started here. The Turkish courts decided that the proofs, tapes and videos were obtained in an illegal way, so the case was closed. And now Fenerbahce is claiming they didn't fixed matches and it was all a plot against them by the terrorists.

1- you spelled most of the names right other than Ankaragücü whcih is said as Ankaragükü and the name ''Koca'' which is Koga in english more like
2- Fenerbahçe is actually more on the referees side as they haven't been winning any championships and for worse losing some non stop things like winning all the Beşiktaş derbies inside as 14 to losing one or more so they want more and more every season
3-Trabzonspor actually got less money to pay for their fans than Beşiktaş fans which threw bottles at Galatasaray players heads and made one named Berkan Kutlu actually get injured and not play for at least 5 games
4-this video is mostly on the bad sides but there are good things like Karagümrük giving Kasımpaşa a place to train which Kasımpaşa normally uses the national team's training places which was cleaned and Karagümrük with Kasımpaşa are like Galatasaray with Fenerbahçe normally
(pin this or dont but more people should know about these things too so please make him see the comment to maybe do more about their football)

hi there, i'm a Besiktas fan for 20 years and I am not that much of a fanatic in respect to other teams in Turkey, I support them if I see a team play better than my own.
With that being said, I personally feel like Galatasaray has so much power and influence in the decision-making systems in Turkish football regulations and they can put lots of pressure in decision-making processes, both on the pitch and off the pitch due to their fan numbers being higher than Fenerbahce and Besiktas and also because they have more influential people both in politics and also business(yet the almighty president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a Fenerbahce supporter). However, most of the ongoing discussion in Turkey does not carry truth in them and are almost fully speculations, like Galatasaray being the sole reason for Bein Sports to stream Turkish league.
As a Turkish football enjoyer, I should state that this present chaotic environment does put me off from watching my own national competitions and lessens my sympathy towards the culture behind all of the clubs and even the national team. And I think I am not the only one in this situation, mostly young generations are watching European leagues and describe themselves as fans of non-Turkish clubs(mostly English ones like Liverpool and City). I really believed the current Fenerbahce president Ali Koc and some previous presidents at Besiktas and Galatasaray could put an end to this chaotic environment but they are and were not able to end it, or shift the Turkish insanity to a positive path. Fans are also responsible for a better atmosphere. Rather than a sport, most see football as a battle. Even though they have close friends and relatives supporting a rival team, most can swear heavily towards the rival supporters. Aggression and violence can sometimes come into play and even people from an intelectual background can lose their mind.
Football is a great way of bringing people together and in my childhood it was quite successful in that. I remember celebrating the Galatasaray victory in UEFA final and cheering for Fenerbahce when they had beaten Sevilla in Champions League round of 16. Most of the people did so back then. But nowadays, it is as if these teams are the chief enemies, especially with social media, a toxic environment and hostility grows bigger day by day, some injustice applications by the Football Federation, or some decisions that are seemingly unfair for a particular fan group just add heat to the ongoing tension.
I think with better and autonomous decision-makers, clear-minded administrators in clubs and well-educated fans Turkish football can hit its potential and become a top league in Europe after the top 5 leagues. Yet, I don't think this will happen in the near future.
