Eastern Sierra Ski Trip

Storm after storm pummeled the Sierra this winter dropping almost 3 times the normal amount of snow. By April, the sun came out transforming it all to perfect corn and I decided to make the pilgrimage, like many other friends. This video highlights five awesome days of skiing around Bishop, California in the Eastern Sierra:
- 4/19: Mount Emerson N Couloir + Wahoo Gully with Nick B and Pat. 12.5 miles, 7,100ft vertical
- 4/20: Scheelite Chute with Nick B and Pat. 6.1 miles, 6,200ft vertical
- 4/21: Birch East Gully with Nick B and Pat. 12.5 miles, 7,400ft vertical
- 4/23: Norman Clyde N Couloir, Sill N Couloir, U Notch, Thunderbolt N Couloir with Nick P and Sam. 23.9 miles, 11,900ft vertical
- 4/25: University Peak E, S, W faces with Nick P, Sam, and John. 15.8 miles, 9,300ft vertical

The skiing was so good! Snow is going to be around for awhile which is dope for us, but I feel sorry for those thru hikers. Maybe they would ski tour the sierra section
