    Like I keep warning… that valley in California,is an old lake…they are not going to be able to control the flooding, because if they don’t open the dams, they’ll lose them……. Most of the outlets for that old lake are now gone……….

    Amazing that the US Drought Monitor, supported by the USDA, National Drought Mitigation Center, the USDOC and NOAA has as of today over 30% of California still suffering from abnormally dry or moderate drought conditions.

      That’s because it is. On top of that. The Colorado River system may be getting an influx this year but it needs multiple years like this to get the system back in good shape.

      Exactly! The voters passed a 75 billion dollar ballot measure in 2017 to do that exact thing. Instead, liberals and their environmental activists donors have prevented any new reservoirs from being built. So this abundant water year is another opportunity lost.

    There are over 1,400 named dams and 1,300 named reservoirs in the state of California . Look it up....

      Every time more glacier breaks off than is created by more snow that takes more than a season to melt, the ocean level rises. But if you were really serious about that question, you could actually have verified that yourself.

      Sure the sea level rises and it’s measured by millimeters. Anticipated rise by 2045 maybe 1 ft. Not exactly the end of the world yet! Lol. And by the way we are all gonna die, probably not by flooding I suspect.

      A dam should be built at the Golden Gate Bridge to flip the Bay to fresh water. Locks can let ships in and out. Millions of salt water animals and plants will die, but freshwater plants and animals will flourish!

      Reservoirs can't be built in a month or two. The problem is Californian's have repeatedly stopped new reservoirs from being constructed, as well as current reservoirs from being raised. Even if approved construction will be drown in red tape in the form of environmental impact reports.
