NO NO NO , As a small Business owner i currently run 4 Vivaro's all on 2014 plates. This is not a new Vivaro, its based on a decade old Toyota. The original 2001 Vivaro was a time lasting masterpiece and was ahead of all competition when relaeased , and a result from a heavily invested joint collaboration between Renault and Vauxhall to tackle and take on the infamous Transit. This low cost thoughtless release from the new Vauxhall owners (PSA) is appalling , they have just stuck new headlights on an old Toyota and the rear load bay is a stretched and heightened platform from the 2009 Berlingo. They will lose the entire Building trade sector in doing this , unable to fit a sheet of plasterboard in , no "high top" option for larger loads and the back end is totally dated compared to Ford's line up. I feel sorry for the Commercial sales reps as now they have lost their best seller. PSA you have totally dropped the ball on this one
Great Van - I’ve had the Peugeot version nearly 3 years... be interesting to see how the quotes come back to me from the Vauxhall dealers for my replacement
TomKentMusic I use to want the Vauxhall badge, but now it’s owned by the french? I’m glad the only Vauxhall I have is from before they went and got beat up by the french phone book (Jackie Chan+Chris Tucker-Rush Hour)
the vivaro is no more 😢 it’s nothing but a Peugeot Expert with a nicer logo. Goodbye Vauxhall, hello frenchness 👎🏻 at least the new movano still looks like a movano, different interior and headlights is all that’s mainly changed on that.
I’ve had the Peugeot version for a year and regret that decision to this day. Tiny cab compared to other vans and it feels very badly put together rattles and bangs going over speed bumps. On the plus side it’s nicer to look at than previous models
Engineering wise, you’re totally correct, however exterior wise they’ve used their own design language (on the front at least). It shares similarities with other PSA products inside, but has been changed slightly for a different demographic.
Front grille, lights, drl’s, alloy designs, and a few other touches. :) Vauxhall’s had an input, but changing lots from the PSA platform would make manufacturing more difficult for them.
@@TheAutoDad so after all its same car as pegeot, citroen, toyota... With ONLY headlights, grill and front bumper changed. Totally makes so much difference!
Finally a Vauxhall product I can get onboard with. The old generation of Vivaro was absolute poop, glad to see the takeover has resulted in good products finally coming from them!
As per usual, a thoroughly well thought out and put together video which was not only informative but visually appealing. Vauxhall have been a long time love of mine, in the last few years though I felt like they'd lost something. I feel like they're finally returning, so it's great to see.
Last few years they were being sold from GM to PSA. First insignia was good, new insignia is french. Previous Vivaro was Renault, now its Pegeot. Im not sure what comeback you are talking about but at very least it hasnt been reliable car manufacturer for quite some time (i would say since astra B and vectra B)...
Just what i wonted been looking to renew my old van and so know Vauxhall have brought this out, there going to have a really hard time selling the thousands of others vivaros that are sitting around. SPOT ON
It’s a new platform, however it means great things for Vauxhall. What do you think?
at least they'll be good from the word go, not like in previous versions
I'm so happy this has happened, now I can finally consider Vauxhall in my commercial fleet!
I am happy to see change happening in what was previously a failing company.
I find it too small and cheap dash. I chose the older vivaro as it was more comfortable and better looking.
No led headlights?? SMH

100% AGREE IF CANNOT HOLD A STANDARD SHEET OF PLY OR PLATERBOARD THEN FORGET IT
I absolutely agree. When I need to replace my 2015 Vivaro I will buy the same van again but it will have a Renault or Fiat badge on the front.
TOTALLY AGREED!!!
As a Dispatch owner of the same platform I do notice and like the centre storage in the dash has a cover.
It’s handy. Having stuff out on display isn’t exactly ideal, is it?
Is it me or is it a lot smaller than the old Vivaro?
It is, that is fucked up
I'm driving a brand new Vivaro.....the engine is a dream.
Great Van - I’ve had the Peugeot version nearly 3 years... be interesting to see how the quotes come back to me from the Vauxhall dealers for my replacement
It’s a Peugeot expert, Citroen dispatch, Toyota proace but more expensive. Pointless 🤷♂️
It’s slightly different, all depends on what badge people want these days basically
:)
and the previuos model was a Renault Trafic
Actually its cheaper than Toyota 100% and might be cheaper than Pegeout too...
TomKentMusic I use to want the Vauxhall badge, but now it’s owned by the french? I’m glad the only Vauxhall I have is from before they went and got beat up by the french phone book (Jackie Chan+Chris Tucker-Rush Hour)
Same with the smaller van Berlingo/Partmer/Combi. The Peugeot version is best.
ngl i did like the old design more, i see them everywhere, this just looks like every other van on the road. great video tho!

It’s a Citroen, bought one new in 2012 older shape inexpensive to run decent van but unbelievably cheap construction shook itself to pieces in 3 years
There is absolutely nothing in common between the 2012 Citroën and this Vauxhall.

As a person 6ft 2 I’ve never been in a worse cabin so cramped the old model was more spacious 🙄
Ah that’s a shame. I’m not tall so that’s probably why it feels spacious to me.
TomKentMusic wish I was a bit shorter because I love everything else about it 😢
Vauxhall didn't design any of it. It's a rebaged Citroen dispatch/Peugeot

@@TheAutoDad It's identical apart from the front grille.

I prefer the Vivaro B looks and Size, think it will have to be a Traffic next!
Great review, thanks!
Thanks! :)
So in comparison to an expert how is the vivaro different? surely they drive much the same and have the same interior?
Everything except headlights, front bumper and grill is the same. Same goes for toyota, pegeot and citroen variants.
Its just too small and ugly now😆
is it for ladies review?
Might have been useful showing the main point of a van, the load space 😀
Good call! Limited filming time meant I wasn't able to do too much - however next time it'll be the forefront. :)
Its a PSA vehicle
Finally a Vauxhall product I can get onboard with. The old generation of Vivaro was absolute poop, glad to see the takeover has resulted in good products finally coming from them!
Useless van. Become much smaller!!! They ruined Vivaro completely

I want awd for crap sites
It's available (Dangel)
Driving opel vans for many years now but this one is ugly as fuck.
Will have another brand for the next one.

Good for your purchase then! :)
