Michael Ironside also so good, as bad boy , amazing in Scanners , one of the best sci fi movie ever made.
The effects here are just f**king timeless - I miss these days
4:05 This dude was the unsung hero who saved everyone!
And could have been replaced by an air pressure sensor.
Not everyone
Not to mention he takes his job id'ing arrivals very seriously.
Yeah he's the real hero of this whole damn movie if he wouldn't have pressed that button Arnold would have been sucked out into the red clay then you know what happens there and then no one would have had to worry about Douglas Quaid or Carl Hauser frfr yo 🤷
OMG, just noticed the Captain in the orange beret is the actor who played Gul Dukat on Star Trek!
It's a time travel mission. He has gone back to sabotage earth's early space efforts.
Is it? I was thinking it was the actor who voices Homer Simpson...
Just hit me too! Holy crap!!!
Jeb Hoge wow you totally suck at recognizing faces.
And he is a resistant in the V, visitor series
"When Arnold tries to speak normal english" 🤣🤣🤣
The music for this is so underrated! Absolutely perfect for this movie and it really added to the awe.
I want to know the direction they gave the actress in this scene, "Alright now start making funny faces and pulling at your mouth like a lunatic."
she was a drama teacher in real life so that probably helped.
One of - if not THE most - iconic movie scenes from my childhood! Just amazing work! So disturbing and fascinating! Beats the best CGI of today!
This was a great movie. I love the pre-CGI flix
Only on the final line of the clip did I realize that the man in the uniform was Marc Alaimo, who played Gul Dukat. Awesome actor!
Yeah I noticed too then went scrolling for a comment like this. Surprised no one else mentioned it.
2:52 How the heck did that control panel fit in there when Arnold's head is in there?!? lmaooo 🤣🍿
"I'm a ginger Hagrid with a haunting smile who needs to blend in. Better wear this yellow trenchcoat."
Can't take too many precautions after all.
The very best way to hide as as an infiltrator or spy is in plain sight.
😋🤭🎅
But that was the fashion style on Mars! Lol
Good one :P
2020: how long you in quarantine for? Me: 2 weeks
After +3 months...
"How long is the quarantine gonna last now?"
NY governor and NYC mayor:
"Two weeks..."
Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
about 2 weeks, 2 weeks errrr uh aahhh 2 weeks 2 weeks
Eight W "get ready for a surprise"
I remember I was watching this movie on TV with my Grandma years ago..she didn't laugh once until the "Get ready for a surprise" and she started cracking up 😂
Reporter: _"So mister President, would you like to discuss your foreign policy?"_
President Biden: _"Two weeks."_
This movie was released during George HW Bush era.
JOE Lying Biden said he was 186 years old in 2020 before he was installed illegally against the REAL American black and white people in 2021 as fraudulent Activity EVER vote-by-mail Mail-in president .
Excuse me????? Brandon "TWO WEEKS"
Two weeks to flatten the curve.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!
TRUMP2024, VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN.
@@bruceli9094 I'm a legal immigrant and I can see how America is being destroyed from the inside out by forces that hate out nation. Trump is the antidote to this. TRUMP 2024 ALL THE WAY.
The SOLE REASON I looked for this clip and here is Mark Dice. 🤣🤣🤣

¡Viva el Presidente Trump!
Incredible acting especially when she grabs her mouth and twists it around. She made that small role so memorable. 👏
Back when movies were not only fun, but were well acted as well.
Plus alot of the makeup was better
@@gregelliott5016 I agree with both of your observations
The makeup and effects were part of why movies in the 80's were so popular like with Friday the 13th and similar movies
“Fun”, agreed - I LOVE eighties/nineties action flicks.
But “well acted”, not so much I wouldn’t say...
Better acted? This movie was as theatrical in its presentation as they come.
This is a movie that should not have had a remake. If it's not broken then do not try and fix it. This movie is a classic!
These movies were so great. Just the era alone. This is one of my favorites! It's a shame what the industry has become. All the stars are disappearing. And there is nobody to take their place.
She still makes more sense than what most of my elderly lady customers say.
oh I get it! because they're old! lol! You sound like you're in junior high lol!
Giacomo Avati . My Brother was a Shoe Salesman he would know exactly what you are referring to and agree .
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not all of us age badly.
@Minas Morgul Nice racism, peckerwood.
If I ever have to say “two weeks” in my life, I always think of this and do an impression of her in my head.
“Twwwwoooooo weeeeeeeks!”
Reminds me of when Kamala’s teleprompter when out and she is on repeat…. 32 days 32 days 32 days 😂😂😂
Just saw total recall last night and I love how it brings back memories. I must say for a movie made in 1990 it was ahead of its time. And this was my favorite part of the movie..”2 weeks” best!
How was it "ahead of its time", though?
@@antonboludo8886 I think it was interesting how they perceived the future from a 1990 perspective, how they scanned weapons, the possibility of tracking someone with a built in chip, how someone can disguise themselves with a realistically looking mask that has a built in oxygen unit, how life on mars could possibly look like in the future whilst coexisting with extraterrestrial life, all these things can happen with the advancements of tech and seeing these ideas were presented in a movie made in 1990 was “ahead of its time”
@@TheSmokingGun111 I see what you mean.
These ideas were however presented many years earlier in other movies.

I totally forgot Marc Alaimo ie Gul Dukat from DS9 was in this film too. What a great actor. Also, Benny the cab driver was also in DS9 as a Cardassian as well.
Ah yes, Benny was the puppet Cardassian dictator Legate Broca in the final chapters of DS9.
Tons of actors here and in Robocop turned up in Star Trek one way or another: this movie alone also had Edward Jellico, the Zakdorn strategist Kolrami, and ditzy Ensign Sonya Gomez. It all culminated in Robocop himself Peter Weller appearing in Star Trek Into Darkness.
Don't forget Robert Picardo as Jonnycab, haha. Granted, he first showed up in Voyager, but he did make a couple DS9 appearances too.
@@ZuluRomeo Don't you mean Captain Sonya Gomez?
Priscilla Allen is such a iconic national treasure. Need i say more?
I miss this kind of movies so much
Me too 😂
At 2:50 I've never understood how such a large rod comes out of the side of the mask given Quaid's head was already inside there.
1:45 when you give your resignation notice at work
Poor extra at 2:43
"how was your day?"
"meh got tossed by Michael Ironside for about 30 takes"
