De hecho, si hay oxígeno, pero en un porcentaje extremadamente pequeño, insuficiente para que la vida pueda prosperar, a menos que seas una bacteria o microorganismo.
I think I was 8 or 9 when I first watched this movie, this was shown in Star Movies back in 90's and there was an age restriction but I ignored it this scene and the ugly baby tumor on the man's tummy scared me for weeks.
Man I'll bet if astronomers on Earth were looking at Mars the moment this was all happening I'll bet they would all be thinking the same thing 'What the Hell is happening to Mars' and when they saw the Martian atmosphere become like Earth's they went wide eyed thinking 'What the Hell'.
Man if I ever go to Mars with a manned exploration team this would be the first thing I look for to see if there is a machine like the one seen in Total Recall and if there is I'd activate it to see if what happens in the real world like what happened in this movie even though I know this is all special and visual effects for the film but hey you never know right.
you can artificially create an atmospher on Mars all you want but it wont prevent it from being stropped by the sun since their is no magnetic field on mars

No atmospheric pressure pushing you in all around. In space it's perfect vacuum. Adam Savage built a vacuum chamber with a supposed astronaut glove. Perfect vacuum is impossible to achieve here and he couldn't move his hand inside the glove so I wonder how astronauts even move in perfect vacuum. Food for thought.

何十年も前に見た映画だけど、今見てもめっちゃ面白いしワクワクする。CGを一切使わない、昔ながらの特撮技術が本当に素晴らしい。きっと100年後に見ても面白い作品だと思う。
