@@JamesPrime1 that's so nice to hear 😍 people normally skip Christchurch except to hire a camper and head to Queenstown, can't say I blame them it's pretty boring 😂
@@angie23575 haha yea. I like boring. Boring is nice sometimes. I made a video about Christchurch and I think I said in the video it’s a nice place to stop and catch your breath.
@@JamesPrime1 well that's a really nice way of putting it 😂 what city in the states would you say is a good place to stop and catch your breath?
One city I’ve been hearing some good things about would be Nashville, Tennessee. I actually haven’t been myself, but I hear really nice!
It’s so weird hearing Americans talk about New Zealand lmao, no one ever mentions us
hahaha, you guys are hidden treasure.
And lets keep it that way
If that’s what makes you feel good sure.
it's really trending on YT right now, guessing lots of disgruntled democrats are looking to leave, lol. Aunty Jacinda will welcome them.

Great video! New Zealand is arguably the most beautiful place I've ever been to in the world! Hope to return one day (if traveling to far away places ever resumes).
Btw, the graphics of the arrows were hilariously placed when you look at them in relation to the big guy in the first part of the video! I thought something had come out of his shorts!! 🤣
Thank you John! I agree, New Zealand is such a gorgeous place. I remember going to some places around New Zealand and it looking like a painting. I just couldn’t believe it!
Most cities in the north island are gang filled shit holes
John Doe, thank you so much and we would love for you to come back 👍🏽
@@Megan7088-6 I ABSOLUTELY plan on it! Beautiful country and amazing people!! 😁
@@chocoboof5733 Because its to cold in the south, and the cities ain't shit holes, just the gangs.
I'm an Aussie who works with a huge percentage of Kiwis, so it was all no-brainers for me.
But I started watching with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at some of the correct answers (I mean the confident ones. It WAS multiple choice).
As a Kiwi I enjoyed this and was so happy with the results. Great vlog. I hope you get to return here one day!
Hey Meikura thanks for checking it out and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Great vid. My man with the SF hat and shades hit the target a few times with his guesses 😎😎 I was impressed. Also, I think if you had the Australian flag on there as well, that would have thrown a lot of people off
Thanks Witro. Yea that Australian flag would have thrown them off for sure
Awww bless their hearts, they all tried so well! Kia ora, tena rawa atu koe

As an American I am shocked how positive the comments are given how bad the answers were.
Then again I probably shouldn't be, every time I have interacted with a kiwi online they are always cool AF. Not sure what you guys are doing over there to stay so positive and chill but keep it up.
Some type of sandwich that had me dead🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha he was way off but that was hilarious 😭😭😭
This made me chuckle, but at the same time, before covid happened, not many brits new about NZ either. I spent over a year living there and it is the most spectacular country.
Great pronunciation off Maaori too bro. Nice one! "what is a kiwi???" cracked me up.
Hey thanks Charlie I appreciate that! Hahaha yea the kiwi has potential to throw people off 😭 thanks for watching it 👍🏽
This is awesome! Hearing this from home (Wellington) it is interesting to see what the United States knows about us 🤣🤣🤣 great video bro, kia ora

Great way of making people aware. Hopefully more people will tour our beautiful country like you did to learn more.🙂
Thanks Gee! Yea anyone I meet I tell them New Zealand is one of the best places to visit in my opinion. Will forever be one of my top recommendations!

I absolutely enjoyed my time there thank you! And I look forward to revisiting again someday. Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you arching it Ariana, thank you 😊
When I lived in the U.S... Most people had heard of New Zealand, but didnt know much at all... many believed it was in Europe... but when I met people who knew NZ, more often than not...they knew alot, which BUZZED me out, especially when they knew about Māori Culture, which buzzed me out more
Haha yea i think its a hit or miss when it comes to what people know about New Zealand. But I think nowadays, its becoming more and more recognizable. But anyway, thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching the video Rangiteaorere. 🙏🏽
Kia Ora bro, amazing video! that second girl from the left in that big group copied the first guy on almost every answer haha. Nice to know that American's know some things about Aotearoa!
Hahah the old copy paste method, could be a hit miss technique lol
Kia ora Cam, I picked up on that too lol
But all and all I'm impressed by how candid they were and they all appeared to have a good sense of humour.
I've never been there, but from what I've seen . It's a beautiful country. And the few New Zealanders I meet were right on .
This was awesome. They knew way more than I expected them to 👏🏼

Loved watching this and the comments section was even better xxx love to see you do more videos like this maybe doing accents like you did in the nz one love it bro
Thanks for watching it Mere! Yea if I get a chance to make another video about the New Zealand accent, maybe I’ll go for it! Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏽
Ah yes, the Badger Mole, much more of a real animal than just a regular mole.
The illusive badger mole of New Zealand 🤣🤣🤣
Yep, I think it's related to Aussie's drop bear.🤣🤣🤣

'Que hora' is SPANISH for what time is it, but I live in NZ and as my Spanish teacher pointed out, it sounds very similar to 'Kia Ora'
I laughed when they thought Auckland was the capital of NZ. Auckland wishes it was the capital city. Lol Windy Wellington is the capital. I am a proud New Zealander from Hobbiton Matamata. 🇳🇿🤗
Hahaha yea. Auckland is cool, but I love Wellington👍🏽
nah, we had our turn at being the capital; just thought we should share since you all cry about 'why only auckland gets everything'

I met a New Zealander in the US who told me about his Uber driver in LA
"Where are you from?"
"New Zealand"
"Oh, which part of Europe is that?"
These people in the video are much smarter and brighter than that driver

You should have given the Australian or Cook Islands flag
If I ever do something like this again, I’ll do it just to throw them for a loop
Yeh, Cook Islands would be a good one, add Fiji's in there too & maybe PNG for some variety, make them all South Pacific Island flags. Australia's flag & it would just be 50/50 guesses though I think, too similar to realistically have anyone know as opposed to guess
@@lilaclizard4504 The idea was the similarities those 2 ( there are others) are the Union Jack on a dark blue Flag
@@celticchris Do you honestly think any Americans know what colour stars are on either flag? Or that there's an extra 7 point star for all the states & territories on the Aussie one? It would be pure guessing

Great video, I find it fascinating to know how much people know about us. I do think that it's our prime minister that has put us more on the map as of late because she is doing some amazing things. Thank you from Invercargill, NZ (too close to the south pole!)
Hey I was on my way to Invercargill!!! I was going to make a video there but I ended up staying an extra week in Christchurch!!
@@JamesPrime1 Understandable, Christchurch is lovely, I'm heading there today if fact for the long weekend. You gotta be brave for Invercargill haha, January and February are the warmest months in my opinion ☺
I made a video about Christchurch and I think at the end of the video I described Christchurch as a nice place to catch your breath. I wanted to go to Invercargill because it was the most southern city I could find in New Zealand and I had never heard of the city before. When it comes to weather, I think I would be alright because here in Chicago, it gets down to -22F. Which sucks, but you know that saying goes, it is what it issss.

When I was a little kid I thought Auckland was the capital of NZ. I lived in Auckland 😂😂
Me too, I couldn't understand how we lived in New Zealand *and* Auckland. I explained it to my own children as being like living in a room inside a house that also has other rooms.
It’s all good bro, I used to think Mary-Kate and Ashley were 3 different peoples. 😂

Thanks Maximiliano. Yea man i'll never knock anyone who doesn't know something about a particular subject. As long as they're open and willing to learn, that's all that matters. This would have been great without multiple choice as i think there would be LOTS less right answers...fun quiz
That was the original idea but then I decided to make it multiple choice because it would be wayyyy to difficult. 95% of the video would be them saying, “I don’t know.” Which would make for a pretty boring video, but yea, it was the original idea. Thanks for watching it by the way!
