Hi Mike & Chris...Great video, You two even make sand look awesome. I like the "tutorial" videos, its nice to know what you are thinking and the process to get there, keep them coming. Absolutely beautiful photos of the dunes, i will never look at one again the same way.

I really liked the monochrome shot near the end. Something about deserts, to me, seem to look really nice in black and white. Probably from watching too many westerns from the late 1950s. We didn't get color until the 1960s.

If you haven't been to White Sands yet, you may want to consider it. The contrast between the stark white dunes and shadows is unreal.

Great video and very timely. I am going out to Alstrom Point next week and I want to swing by Coral Pink Sands State Park to take some photos. The one thing that is disappointing is that most of the sand dunes are open to ATVs which I find disappointing. I am also going to try Horseshoe Bend and the Vermilion Cliffs area. That is probably way more than I can handle in a week. Have you been out to the "Singing" dunes in the north part of the park? I understand it has to be hot and windy to hear them but it would make a great video. Heat and me are not friends. Again, thank you for the timely video.

nrlondon7959 yeah we went to the pink dunes last year. Tire tracks everywhere. And yes the Eureka dunes! We were there for a few hours but didn’t take any photos. The conditions weren’t optimal to hear it but I’d love to at some point.

Loved it! Many photographers ignore the vertical format. I understand that it is harder to do. I really liked these very square photos. I, in turn, when shooting sand almost always translated into sepia. People like this shade and its options are very wide! Maybe you will try it! A little color in the series on the border with black and white photography in my opinion has some magic! Thank you for the video! As always positive !!! Like this flic.kr/p/2hQju6p From Sankt Petersburg with love!
