Thanks for this analysis of Samsung QLED TVs. According to the test results published by the RTINGS TV review site, the Hisense U8H QLED offers picture quality that is nearly identical to the Samsung QN90B (which is B the Installer's first recommendation) yet the Hisense is hundreds of dollars less expensive. Personally speaking, if I wanted to buy a 55", 65", or 75" QLED TV today I'd probably choose the Hisense U8H and save myself a substantial amount of cash.
I tend to agree with Brandon that the combination of a VA panel and anti reflective layer makes the TV more prone to DSE and no matter how good the QN95C is with other aspects of PQ I’ll take my chances with the QN90C.
I don't understand the whole dirty screen effect. When he showed the test in this review I didn't see much there. I see a hockey guy floating around with a puck. I wish he would show what this dirty screen effect looks like when watching every day tv or a movie or something. I want to see what makes it so bad and how bad it actually is.

Folks. I own the QN95C, got it for 120K (INR, please convert for September 2024). It's beautiful. Trust me, I've seen it next to an OLED and it's still my preferred choice. The blooming is well within control and you can tweak the settings to please your eyes. Color accuracy in the end is very subjective as you would rather watch what your eyes like. Film maker mode was very close to my calibrated settings using Samsung smart things and an S series device (borrow from your friends if needed, it's worth it). The calibration from that blows away anything in the price range and I'd take this over the OLED. It's accurate if you're into it but it's more about your eyes and how you're pleased. Most of us are not good enough to judge colour accuracy and don't have high end calibration equipment. Go for this and enjoy brighter HDR and no OLED burn in (it's magical).
